He started to spread his awareness out when Kara interjected.
"Wake, oh, you're up"
"Yep"
"Well good morning"
"Good morning to you too"
"So what's the plan for today"
"Well it's time to work on the second floor"
"What's your plans for it"
"To be honest I don't know"
"That makes sense, maybe you can do something similar to the first floor but give them fire affinity"
"Fire Affinity?"
"Well when you summon a creature you can use extra mana to give them an affinity"
"Well I guess I will start with that then thanks for the idea"
"No problem"
He started with making an exit to the boss room similar to its entrance and made a spiral staircase going down to the second floor.
Next, he carved a long hallway but, just as he was about to start carving the next room he noticed something.
"Oh wow, that changes things"
Out of the bottom of the wall was a small stream of lava.
Inside his mind, he now knew how to make lava out of mana.
Oh, now I know what I'm gonna do, he thought.
First, he widened his initial hallway a bunch.
Then he deepened his floor by 5 feet so lava wouldn't spill out into his staircase, he lengthened his hallway to be the same length as the entire first floor.
He then filled the floor with lava draining his mana so he slept till the next day and continued.
After filling the floor he made small patches of the ground come off the floor to make a path of small islands just big enough to fit one person comfortably up to 1/3 the way through the hallway.
At the end of the path, he made a wide bar of stone going from wall to wall and then continued making the path.
He made another bar at the 2/3 mark as well.
After that, he brought the path of the islands to the end of the room. At the end of the room, he made large rectangular stone doors.
He made the room he was going to make into the boss room behind these doors.
He turned back to the first bar of stone and made a small hallway going to the left. At the end of the hallway, he made a series of 4 medium-sized rooms one after another he made these rooms into a barracks. At the back of the barracks, he made a secret tunnel up to the lizard man village and made a stone barracks in the village as well. He then added 10 level 2 warrior lizardmen to staff the two barracks for now.
This is where he ran out of mana the second time. After sleeping again he went back to work.
He then added a modified pitfall trap in the secret tunnel that if an intruder went inside the tunnel they would be dropped into the lava.
Then he started on the second bar on the right side he made another hallway inclined slightly up and at the end of that made a den of ash wolves and spawned in another of the new advanced level 3 ash wolf alpha along with a pack of 8 levels 2 ash wolf hunters.

Then on the other side of the bar, he made a hallway with a larger incline and at the end of the said hallway he added a large boulder using the mechanics of the basic boulder trap he made a boulder trap like seen in Indiana Jones.
This trap was set off when an intruder stayed on the bar for too long.
After this, he sprinkled a bunch of fire sprites around the hallway. Fire sprites were sentient fireballs around the size of a basketball that floated around with golf ball-sized cores that they could control the placement of, they were immune to physical attacks except for on their core which if hit would kill them instantly.
Inside of the boss room he started by filling the ground in with lava. Next, he made a raised platform in the middle that took up about half the space of the room. In that platform, he made divots to allow lava to flow through the platform.
He adds a bobbing platform between the center platform and the door and one between the exit and the center platform.
After thinking for a second he also added half-circles of stone coming off the doors to allow for them to be opened from the inside.
This used up the rest of mana so after a rest he started on his boss.
He then realized that he had a different type of construct and after focusing on it he learned that he got it from learning to make lava.
So he chose to use this new monster type as his boss.
He started by summoning a basic lava golem.
The basic lava golem was around 6 feet tall with a thin build made entirely of lava except for a baseball-sized core where the heart of a regular person would be.
He then made the golem taller and thicker(Think football players build).
That seems good for the second-floor boss, now all it needs is a name he thought.
"Hmm"
"I got it"
He named the golem and pulled up its information.
(Magtar Lord of Lava)
Job- Floor Boss
Tier- 1
Level- 5
"That works"
Kara floated around before saying, "Wow, im impressed"
"Thanks"
"This amazing for a second floor"
This used most of his mana so he looked to see if there were any improvements to make.
He added a couple more ash wolves and lizardmen to the first floor but as he looked around he saw something new in the second-floor barracks.
There was a lizardman inside with red markings over her scales, glowing orange eyes and she was surrounded by 3 fire sprites.
He pulled up her information.
(Lizardman)
Job- shaman
Tier- 1
Level- 3
"Hey Kara do you know what a shaman is"
"Yes, a shaman is a creature who has made a pact with some sort of spirit, construct, demon or other similar creatures to gain a piece of their power or control over similar creatures, for example, this shaman has made a pact with those fire sprites"
"Thanks, Kara"
Kara smiled as she said "No problem happy to help"
He took one last look around before going to sleep.
