Synopsis
Every Billion years The Eternals host ‘The Game’ in an effort to both cull the universe and encourage growth. 1 million different sentient species throughout the universe compete to be the final remaining candidate for primacy. With each stage of the game only allowing the surviving 10% to move on to the next. But here’s the catch, once a contestant dies their species dies with them. This is not just a fight to join the ranks of the Eternals, this is a fight against extinction itself.
The last candidate remaining will be Judged as the Prime of their species, the only species left in existence. The Eternals will decide if The Prime shall remain as the Alpha of their species to ascend to enlightenment and join The Eternals, or become the Omega, the last instead. Their species extinguished, and their life forfeited to become a museum piece frozen in suspended animation for all of time amongst the other Omega Primes.
Atlas, a young twenty-something adult finds himself chosen to represent humanity. He will join the game where every decision must be weighed against the cost of not just his own species, but those he will wipe out in an effort to keep his alive. Trillions of lives lie in his hands and he must chose his own, and by extension humanities, continued survival against the eradication of his competitors kind. Could you make that kind of decision? Ascension or Death awaits.
