Mathgar stayed a little longer with the blacksmith until he got the message:

He thanked the smith, and went off to go find a temple to restore his health. While walking through the town, he saw no other players nearby. He thought that was odd, but then he checked the map. He was in the western-most kingdom, in the western-most village, just a few miles from the coast. Well, he thought, do I know how to pick a secluded place, or what?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He had found the temple, but it was in pretty bad shape. Some of the stone tiles on the ceiling were missing, and the walls were cracked. It looked like the church was still standing by sheer willpower alone. He found a decrepit priest tending to a modest garden in front of the church, and Mathgar approached him.
"Can I be healed? I am low on health right now." Wow. Mathgar had no sense of tact today.
"Sure thing, kiddo." The crinkly old man said, as he stood up, slowly. "It will cost you 3 gold. Or unless, you would rather give me a hand with something."
Mathgar pondered on this question, and considered being nice to this man would be shown as a good deed, in the eyes of his deity. "Sure, I can give you a hand, what do you need help with?"

Marvin handed him some nails, and wood, and said, "Board...up the windows, until we get some glass, please." He pointed to the arches towards the top of the structure. The window panes were shattered, and some glass was still hanging in the windows. That is really dangerous, Mathgar thought to himself. He headed inside, and saw the church altar, which seemed to resemble an angel, but one hand had a sword, a balance in the other, and the angel was blindfolded.

Holy cow, he thought. Whoever this Nemesis chick was, she must have been awesome. He continued up the staircase with the tools in hand, and reached the top of the temple, where the windows were.
One problem arose: Mathgar didn't have a ladder to reach the windows. He grumbled to himself, "I wish I knew how to make a ladder, so this wouldn't be a problem. Oh well, looks like i just have to climb." He set the supplies down, just to see if he could scale up the wall. He thought he did a good job, but his body exhausted fast, then he looked down. He only made it 2 feet off the ground! This made him angry, because he had, what looked like, 15 more feet to get to the closest ledge. Aw, I'm out of intelligent options, he thought. Might as well try something dumb. He put all his energy into his legs, and jumped.

New Skill: You have learned Jump
And, at the worst time. The sudden window popping up in mid-jump caused him to lose his balance midair, and fell to the ground.
You have taken 20 damage.
His shoulder ached, and was surprised he didn't take more. He rested for a moment , to benefit from the Nemesis buff, and looked at this new window.

"Well, that will come in handy right about now." Mathgar continued trying to jump up to the ledge, which was still far away. After a few hours of jumping, and resting in between, he grasped the ledge. Now, to pull myself up, he thought. He reached forward with a hand farther on the ledge, and:
You have taken 15 damage. Bleeding for 1 HP for 6 seconds.
Ouch. That glass hurts. He jumped back down, and took the glass out of his hand, and waited for his hand to stop bleeding, since he did not have any bandages on him. "Yeah, I think I'm done for today. Besides, I have all the time in the world to finish this quest." And with that he logged off.
And as the capsule opened, Matthew saw his dad above him through his foggy glasses, almost glowing red with anger. "WHERE WERE YOU FOR THE LAST TEN HOURS!!!"
