Hana POV---------------

Dan and I walked to work. Actually, we don’t work in a restaurant as waiter like we said to our friends. We work for the boss in that restaurant which is Dan’s old friend, secret special force for goverment, and our friends don’t know about that. We hunt criminal, beast and other creature like in movies.

Dan and I have special ability; I can manipulate water, and as for Dan, I know nothing. First of all, I thought that I the only one who abnormal, even though my mother told me ‘you’re no, your power was a gift’. We met each other when I was in junior high school. He and a woman named Lysa came to my house to talk with me and my mother. Even though at that time, Dan only said ‘Mizu’, ‘Ketseuki akuma no mago’, and ‘she is the one’ before he stood up then stormed out. Lysa just gave us her light smile and took the rest explanation.

She and Dan are part of secret government department. She said that they keep a file of me even my family and search us, Dan only helped them easy their job. As now, I am in gymnasium for agent to train my ability inside one of their branch headquarters.

“Agent in training Hana, dont lose your focus” said my trainer.

“Sorry miss Lysa, I just remember my past” I said. Yup, I can say that I am an agent ‘in training’. Yeah, Lysa came to reveal herself as my trainer. She has blond hair and blue eyes like Lucia but older and more dull. She trains me to control my ability.

“Okay then we will continue in five minutes”. I shout a small yay. It’s tired to focus and change form in the same time. I walk to a seat where I put my bag.

I glance to another corner of the gym. I c see Dan trained by Mr. Andy, martial art trainer, well he doesn’t train with him, more precisely like they have an actual combat fighting. They move very fast, I could see Dan has a chance and launch a hit to Mr. Andy, but he easily dodged it and started to counter. Dan blocked it with his palm and launched a kick, Mr. Andy noticed it, he jumped to dodge it but I think Dan didn’t predict it because he pushed back by a jumping kick from Mr. Andy. Wow, that’s really cool. If I can do it, I will never be afraid to anybody. swinging punch, dodging enemy attack and countering plus finishing by a Flying kick. I wanna do it.

“You have interest to him, huh.” Miss Lysa calls me back to reality as she took a seat beside me.

“Huh, what? Who?” I said in panic.

“Dan of course. So what did you just daydream? I hope it’s not something pervert” she said in teasing tone, I know that she was teasing me. “You know, He is a lovely and talented kid, he become an agent in seven with one of his friend”.

So she know Dan, huh. I wonder if she knows more. “Miss Lysa, do you know what ability Dan has”

“No because I never see him using it too actually”.

“What!!!” I shout in her face and she raises her hands to cover her face. She glares me. “Sorry, Why don’t you know, did you train him too”. She heaves a sigh.

“He was trained by the higher ranking in this facility. Well maybe, because of he is a higher rank too, so Mr. Andy is just like his sparring friend. Furthermore, he always reckons us, all agents as his friends. He never call us with Mr, Miss or other formal nickname, but we tolerate it because we become accustomed with his habit. If I recall, he was my commander of a mission once in my newbie year and succeeded perfectly because his intrucsion, but I know nothing more, From the slightly higher rank gossip, they said that the first and the last for him in group”.

Wow he is really talented. “So, why did he stop working in team. Did you know the reason?”.

“I asked him once, he said that he will hurt the other if he uses it” her face is serious then suddenly full in terror. “Well, looks like this conversation will make a creepy imagination. So, can we return to our training”.

“Lovely, talented yet mysterious and rebel kid” I note to myself. “Oh yeah, before we start again, do you know when our.. i mean my first mission is. You said that we will get it soon”. Stupid me, Dan maybe has it already.

“Oh my... Relax girl!” she is shocked cause my question and stops her walk to training ground. “But.. I think this weekend”

“Really” she smiles and it means yes. I am so excited to that mission, at last I can kill monster called chimera. I wish not to hunt other human. Our training finishs at six o’clock. I usually take bath at home, because there is a rumor about pervert trainer.

Before we go home, he visits grocery store to buy ingredients for spaghetti and I just follow the cook. He gets all the ingredients, but Dan say that he needs to buy another item. He buys ingredients for milk, flour, butter, even one box of cat food. I can hear him murmured ‘we got eggs at home’. He said for breakfast. He has cat right or he will feed us with a freaking cat food. I imagined we are like cat. No, he isn’t somebody like that. I shake my head to remove the image. He pays for the ingredients then we go home after that on foot. I’m tired.

-------------------Dan POV----------------

Hana inserts with her key to open our house because my hand is full with our shopping item, we bought before get home.

“We”re home” Hana said loudly. As the door open, I can see Ardo standing with his hand fold on his chest and his feet patter on floor. His eyes even openly glare at me.

“You are late, it half pas six you know. We are waiting here and starving if you know” He said with a little pout. Hahaha, typical Ardo I talk to myself.

“Sorry. I just remember to buy another ingredients for our breakfast tomorrow” Ardo keep glaring at me. He never trust easily especially when he is mad. I heave a sigh then I give him one sack of ingredients. He is observing the item then look at me. “Pancake” I told him with smile. I watch his lips turn to smile ear to ear from its frown. His emotion now is one hundred eighty degree, from devilish to childish. Lucky for me to be his childhood friend, I knew his favorite thing.

“Can we have that now instead spaghetti, please?” Ardo begs like a little puppy. Dog guy just give him ear and tail, so he could wag it happily.

“Nope cause we had the vote this evening. Remember”. His childish hurt expression just made me smiled and chuckled a little bit inside. I can’t show this emotion or Ardo would do something and prank me. So, I leave Ardo cursing me in the entrance, because I know Lucia will comfort, not sexually I mean, him and as for Hana, she went to her room leaving me to deal with Ardo.

As soon as I arrive at kitchen, I take a pan, fill it with water then boil the pasta and let it ready. As I wait, I prepare the sauce I saw in the internet. I heat olive oil then fry garlic and minced meat until it’s done, so I turn off the stove. I crack egg, add it parmesan and thickened cream then stir it. I turn on the stove again then add the mixture to the meat. As I heat the mix, I can see the pasta ready so I leave the sauce for moment so I can drain the water from pasta, then back to sauce again. I can see Ardo has been back to good mood, as I add salt and pepper as seasoning. Lucia walks behind him bringing a novel then she takes a seat, reading.

“Hm… smells good” Ardo said walking close to counter across me. “Could I taste it?” he said again. he moves his finger to dip into the sauce, but I prevent it with a slap.

“You know, I never like somebody dip their finger especially when your hands are dirty” I scold him like he is a kid.

“Oww, come on. Just a bit. I’m hungry” he whined.

I sigh. “Here, try it”. I offer him to taste from the spatula. “So, how is it?” I asked him.

“I think I can taste it better if you give me a portion of it” he said with grin.

“No. Wait for the others”. I scowl him. “Now, shoo from my kitchen and take your seat.” I wave my hand gesturing him to dining table. He growls at me and drags himself to his seat. He even slams his hands on the table.

Lucia is startled because of that “You boys are troublesome, fighting because of food, again” Lucia said with angry tone, well not really angry, piss a bit.

“Well, I’m sorry, miss Lucia, but this time your boyfriend has to wait patiently. And if you know, fighting is the way of boys talking” I said then looked at Ardo. “Am I right, Sir?” He just huff meaning he has no word to reply.

“I don’t believe it, Dan, and I am not that old for miss” she said.

“My bad, but it’s your choice, but trust me in this one. Anyway, thank’s for the service, Madam” I said in teasing her.

“Dan. Don’t make me throw this to your head ... or your crotch” She have a book named ‘Sherlock Holmes’, she glared me with her the most menacing aura around her. Now she like about detective, huh. I gulped my saliva because menacing tone in the last part and Ardo giggled. She continues her reading. Phew, I thought that I was going to die because of book.

“I’m just joking” I scratched my head and laughed nervously. “I’m gonna call the other”.

“Already done it” She said without remove her eyes to her. “By the way Dan, your jokes isn’t good enough. Go read some books”.

“BWAHAHAHAHA” Ardo bursted to laugh. “Nice one, sweety”.

When the others walk in the kitchen, they are confused due Ardo’s snickering.

“Did we miss anything” Arya asks us while he and other take their place. Ardo nod while I just shrug and continue to serve the pasta.

“Tell us everything” Azmy said enthusiastically.

“Okay” Ardo said. “Dan was…”. A loud snap stops Ardo to continue.

“‘After we eat, boys” Lucia said with her same menacing tone.. Arya, Ardo and Azmy gulp their saliva then laugh nervously.

I serve them the pasta. “Today dinner is spaghetti with carbonara sauce” I said as I put their plate. I take my seat. “Okay, let’s dig in”.

They eat happily even for the boys who opposed the small meeting this afternoon. After dinner, I clean the dish while the other back to their own room to prepare our studying in living room. After I finish, I walk to my room and take some books then join with them. I am not surprised whn the boy laughing at me. Ardo must tell them the story.

“Okay.. it was funny. Now, take your haha away and do your homework” I said. We start our study with a bit snicker from the boys.

I look at clock, it shows twelve o’clock and all my friend are tired. We decide to back to our room and have a rest. I walk into my room and jump to my bed, I put headset and play some music from my Ipod, present from Ardo. I am still weak., Andyturn the fight into serious one although that was training. He said everyhing can be real if you want it. Actually I was the first one who suggested it, but I lost. I still need training. Suddenly, my phone is shaking and beeping. I take my phone and notice that I get a message. It’s from Hana. So then we start messaging each other.

Are you awake?

Yes, why?

Seriously, I want to know what your ability is. Miss Lysa said she never see you uses it either. I am shocked that Hana want to know about my ability ……again and then why Lysa told her that.

Why are courious?

She said you tell her that you will hurt other, what’s the mean of it?

I cant tell. Sorry. I am gonna sleep

Well, that”s okay. Everybody have their own secret. Good night. Have a sweet dream.

That was the end of our conversation then, I back to listen my Ipod and fall asleep.

-------------------Hana POV---------------

I walk to my room in second floor. I am still courious about Dan’s ability. I can’t ask him privately if we are in home, so I grab my phone and sent a message to him.

‘Are you awake?’ I send him the message while my brain say Please still awake, please

‘Yes, why?’ He answers. Lucky me, he was still awake. But what will I ask, should I ask directly. Hmm... I bet.

‘Seriously, I want to know what your ability is. Miss Lysa said she never see you uses it either’

‘Why are courious?’ he replies me. Ahhh geez, because I want to know.

‘She said you will hurt other, what’s that mean?’

I wait him to send back and yes.

‘I cant tell. Sorry. I am gonna sleep’ his message reads. I sigh, At least I had tried. Why are you hiding secret to your own partner, Dan?

‘Well, that”s okay. Everybody have their own secret. Good night. Have a sweet dream’ I send him for the last

‘Good night. You too’ his last reply says. I think about what ability Dan has. If he can’t controll it and hurt others he can train it with miss Lysa. So, why he just train his body instead. I stuck and I decide to sleep.
