I was awoken to a barrage of knocking on my hotel room door. It must have been late by this point. As much as I did not want to, I peered through the peephole, and saw two gentlemen. Both of them donned the local police department uniforms. I opened the door slowly and asked them what I could do for them. They asked me if I was Thomas Calgary and if I knew a man named Albert Thornley. I said that's my name but I don’t know anyone by that name. They said that they were investigating a murder and that they had found a computer containing chats between us. I asked what chat? Did they mean Discord, and they said yes. I asked what Albert's user name was, and they responded ‘ Juniper”. I froze.
He’s DEAD!? WHAT THE FUCK
I told them that yeah me and Juniper have been talking the last few days. We met online about a week ago. The cops asked me what we talked about and I lied, saying that we discussed games and life. Made small talk and stuff. After taking a moment to wake up the rest of the way, I asked if I was a suspect. The shorter of the two stated that they wanted to ask me some more questions before they determined that and asked if I would be willing to come to the police station. I said I didn’t have a car, that I took a bus to get here. They said they could give me a ride. I answered, saying I needed to dress first, and they allowed me to close the door. After dressing for the cool air outside, I stepped out and followed the two men to the vehicle. It was a nice muscle car, solid black. I thought it odd that it wasn’t a police cruiser. I started feeling hesitant about going with them. I climbed into the back seat and we began driving. Sadly, as I am not from here I did not know if they were taking me to the station. Unfortunately, I found out rather quickly.

These men were not in fact police officers, but something else. Thugs perhaps. I am not entirely sure, but I know that they tried to get information out of me and were going to kill me. I sat there on the ground, in the middle of I don’t know where. I started to suspect that they killed Juniper.I prayed for my life. Pleaded with them to let me go. I told them I didn't know anything. They asked me again and again what Albert and I talked about. They wouldn’t listen. They started easily, threatening me, slapping me, but as they grew more impatient they began getting more aggressive. Punching me, one of them pulled out a knife and cut off the tip of my left ear. It was horrendously brutal. Then something strange happened.
