We thought we knew what awaited us upon arriving in the other side of the gate, we were wrong.

Towering structures of ridiculous proportions stood before us upon arrival.

People walked in drowes, so many we couldn't even count them all, they noticed us arrive but except from some curious glances not many payed us any mind.

My soldiers were equipped with the best armor our smith's could forge and our blades were sharp enough to cut steel.

Still with all this preperation and enchanted gear we were still cought within seconds of our arrival in some field stopping our movements entirely.

Flying balls dark as night swopped down from the skies and sorounded us, they were small but my danger sense told me these things, were not to be ignored.

They carried with them the promise of death should we engage them.

Suddenly a projection or illusion of some kind aperead in frön of us, this life like projection showed us a man in a strange uniform just inspecting us.

After aperently coming to a conclusion he nodded and spoke to us with a straight face and voice of steel.

"welcome travelers, I don't know where you come from but based on your apereal you seem prepered for a fight. Let me stop you from committing more trouble for yourselfs before it's too late, you are under arrest and will be brought in for questioning"

He took a lingering look between us before continuing with a tone that promised not following his instructions would not end well for us.

"failure to comply will result in lethal force being used to put you down permanently, also my name is security comisoner Stevens of of city state 8 in the earth aliance.

Turning his head to me I could sense I could move again, but looking around my soldiers looked to be still frozen, only able to move their eyes to look around.

Turning my head back to the man i looked at him and introduced myself while geting down on a knee.

"imperial squad officer leden'ah, sir, we came looking for conquest but seing your formidable strength we beg to find a more peaceful solution to this conflict."

I knew just from their swift arrival and instant immobilization of our forces that we were not their match, and this aperently only from one man, what would facing their true military might look like, I dared not imagine such dark thoughts.

Smiling at me the comisoner just waved his hand and a rift seemed to open next to us with soldiers in black sleek suits of armor stepping out of them holding what seemed to be short staffs or something like that, these soldiers had helmets on making seeing thir faces impossible, but seing one of them turn their gaze on me I could only shiver in fear of what they might be capable of.

One of the soldiers held up a hand to us and spoke in a clear and commanding tone.

"we will lower the stacis field holding you, imedietly drop your weapons and take of your armor in a slow and controled way, failing to instantly do this we will use lethal force and put you down, do you understand me?"

Aprently the "stacis field" had lowered enough for my soldiers to answer becouse after a nod from me they all answered in unison.

"yes sir"

Noding he once again spoke but this time to me

"good, now you will be transported to a seperate holding facility and be questioned there, please comply with this and everything will go smoothly and painlessly."

I frantilcly noded my head knowing without a shadow of a doubt that not complying would nor end well for me.

The stasis dropped and the soldiers quickly and efficiently disarmed and removed their armor, leaving them in just their cloth clothes beneath, which thankfully they seemed to be allowed to keep on.

The black suited soldiers secured their arms behind their backs and put on some metal contraption that locked their arms in place before moving them to a new rift that had been opened in space in front of us.

The black suited man that seemed to be in charge came up to me and quickly secured my arms like the others and moved me towards yet another rift having been opened.
