This story takes place in a distant future, earth has been conquered and destroyed by an unknown race of creatures and only a few survivors made it out in time, one of them is our main character, only he and a very peculiar friend of his made it out of his town, rescued by a faction formed of others refugees that are fighting against those creatures, although much remains unknown about them. In the present Alden gets lost during one of his missions, and on the course of the narrative, we will get to know not only his own story but also the stories of those he interacted with on his adventure to uncover the truth behind the secrets of his present and past.
