Sical had been watching his champion over the first two days. Things were progressing well. His champion was level 8. They were a long way from a territory stone, but the horde of monsters around them was great for Exp. The first few days could always make or break a champion. They either embraced the change or went borderline crazy. So far Sical's champion had embraced the change. Fighting with pride and challenging themselves. Sical's champion was an Asian man named Ty Wen. Though he was the farthest from any other champion that was Sical's goal. To help his champion raise without having to fight another champion. Most champions were lost when they had to battle another champion. He had several worlds to his faction because of this strategy. He would play his hand and let the others play there's.
Torok had heard from Zellia's camp that Norbak had made sure his champion was within striking distance of D and The Crew. Norbak didn't know Torok knew of his plans, but the reality was that Torok was counting on this type of pressure for his champion. One could not gain true power without a true challenge. Torok wanted to reach out to D. He chose to wait until D unlocked his memories. If he was able to push past that mental block it meant he was truly a worthy champion.
Any one The Ten could reach out and communicate with their champion for a total of 5 minutes a day. Torok had done this in the past with several of his champions. He would guide them to greatness. He was trying a hands off approach. He and most of the other Ten had to find greatness for themselves. To be a true force in the multiverse you had to walk your own path. He hoped D would do this. He also hoped he took a few along for the ride.
Zellia was watching her champion. She was a Spanish girl from South America. Her name was Esmeralda Ramos. She went by Ezzy. She was one of the best female MMA fighters before the integration. Zellia thought that would pay dividends, but Ezzy was struggling with leadership. She couldn't gain traction to have the people with her now work as a cohesive group. Sure she was already level 7, but they spent most of the first two day arguing amongst themselves.
Norbak had just finished filling in Chris on the plan for today. He wanted Chris to fight some more beasts and monsters. He also wanted him to check the area around them for more people. If he found any above level 2 he was to kill them and add them to his horde. Norbak felt his plans were going well. It was going to be easy to take out Torok's champion. D was gathering to many weak people around him. Norbak felt his soft spot for people would be his undoing. It would only take Chris a chance to capture one of D's friends to force a fight D wasn't ready for. Chris and his gang of prisoners were a blood thirsty bunch. It was easy to keep the violence going. He would wait until after the champions had their level 10 trails. Then be would send Norbak towards D and his camp.
Torok thought that The Ten would start with there games soon. It was always before the first week was over that the games started. Sending a champion to kill another, or sending strong allies to weaken a champion and then take there settlement. It was always a variation of the same moves, the same thing over and over. It was now becoming so boring. All Torok wanted was a chance, a real chance to find someone who could one day be as strong as him or any of the other Ten. This was the first time he had found someone who's flame burned so bright he had real hope. D could be that champion and with his brother and friends they could one day be a true force in the multiverse. He just hoped the other Ten didn't figure it out before D and the Crew were to weak to do anything but roll over and day. It was against the rules to kill a champion before they claimed a planet, but after they had it was fair game. Still day 3 was shaping up to be a good day. D and the Crew weren't aware but two beast swarms were getting close to Providence. The beasts wouldn't be able to get within the walls, but they didn't mean it would make life easy. Torok hoped D would welcome the challenge. He hoped The Crew would band together and use this as a nice push of Exp. Torok had watched as his champion and friends had taken in more and more people for the settlement. He was worried to many people in one place would slow down leveling for everyone. He was hopeful that atleast with the town hall being unlocked his champion would see a huge boost in mana cultivation and power.

Norbak had his spies lurking around gathering information on whoever he could. Norbak hated Torok. The man seemed to be so powerful but also so useless. Torok only worked to make himself stronger and Norbak just didn't understand why. He was already the strongest. A part of Norbak hated to admit that. Norbak hated himself for being jealous of anyone or anything. He would prove himself now. He would show the rest of The Ten that he was the one they should listen to. That his plans were the best in the multiverse. Soon he would have his champion crush Torok's. It would the first champion Torok lost and would show them all Norbak was the smartest of them all. Power shouldn't make the leader, intelligence should.
Most of The Ten were all doing similar things. Coaching their champions. Helping them grow stronger. Readying them for the challenge to come.
Torok and Zellia were the only ones who knew the truth. This would be Torok's last integration. He would need to ascend and hold off the Void. Someone would be voted into his place.
: Back on Earth:
"So you think we can get enough power to rule this world?" Vlad asked Chris
Chris had his own plans to rule this world. He knew one day he would add Vlad and his brother to his undead horde. I guess that meant he wasn't lying when he said. "Yes we will."
"Why do you think we haven't got any people to come to our settlement." Vlad asked
"I have no idea maybe they can't make it past the beast in the swamp." Chris replied. That wasn't the truth though. They had about 5 men and 6 women make it close to the settlement. Norbak informed Chris and he went out to get some easy kills and Exp. Chris enjoyed the thrill of watching his prey scared to death knowing there was nothing they could do to save them selves. He enjoyed it. If the world hadn't forced this type of isolation Chris could have killed thousands already. He knew one day he would get that chance. He just wanted it to come sooner rather then later. There was only one obstacle in his way. This other champion Norbak wouldn't shut up about. He was constantly telling Chris to go finish him as soon as possible. Chris would happily kill this man just one his own time. He would let Norbak think he was in charge. He would feed him lies that were mostly truths, and then when he was strong enough he would do whatever he wanted. Chris envisioned himself as the king of earth. He could feel it. One day he would have anything he wanted or just take it. There would be no one to stop him.
