Fearing what might happen, a brave young Pharaoh sacrificed his life and locked the evil away. He imprisoned it and himself within the seven Millennium Items and wiped his memory clean. And the world forgot his name and legacy in time's ruthless tides as his spirit wandered aimlessly within the maze of the Millennium Puzzle.

Three thousand years later, a boy appeared who solved the Millennium Puzzle and released the dark magic sealed within. He and his friends faced many trials while slowly unraveling the secrets of the past and the Millennium Items. Until, at long last, they helped the pharaoh regain his memories and defeat the great evil he sacrificed his life to seal away.

Now, three millennia later, the Dark Games have been unleashed upon the world once again.

Born in the wake of great tragedy, Layla has inherited the power of these Dark Games along with the duty to fight and protect the world. It will be up to her to decide if this world full of darkness is worth fighting for or if it should be destroyed for its wickedness.
