Our protagonist, Hamza, wakes up in a waiting room. He sees white all around him. It doesn’t smell like a hospital’s waiting room. Actually smells very flowery.
There is a beep on the intercom. The door at the end of the hall opens to reveal a mild-mannered and tall gentleman. “Please come in, Hamza.”
An attractive woman leaves the room which Hamza has just entered.
The gentleman motions for Hamza to take a seat and Hamza does as suggested.
“I am Adam BC.” The gentleman introduces himself.
“Behench-”
“Before Christ.” The gentleman elaborates.

“Where am I?” Hamza asks.
“It is with great sadness I inform you that you died some seconds ago.”
“What?!”
“But you are now in heaven.”
“Really?!”
“Why are you surprised? As an activist you have always strived to make lives better for others.”
“So this is it? This is heaven?”
Adam gets up from his chair behind the table. He escorts Hamza out of the room then out of the building itself.
Hamza’s eyes almost pop out of his skull. The outside world is beautiful. It’s totally unlike Pakistan, his home country.
The greenery is lush. The fountains are immaculate. The sky is a perfect blue. There are healthy children running around. Adults are happily conversing with one another.
“Hi, I’m Ali.” A fellow heaven dweller introduces himself to Hamza and they shake hands.
“Hi Ali. My name is Hamza.”
“This is my wife Fatima.” Ali points towards his wife who is in a burkha.
Fatima simply nods her head.
“Unfortunately, she lost her ability to speak after watching the massacre of her family in Pakistan by the Taliban.” Ali explains.
“My God. That is so sad. I’m very sorry for your loss.” Hamza says.
“On to your new home, Hamza.” Adam announces.
