First fanfic hope you like it as I've had this idea for a while now and was wanting to share :grin:

Jason, a fairly normal teenager at the age of 17 still living with both of his parents and sister, goes to a local school and has some friends and some enemies. He is fairly good at school grading in the top 20 in his year and has good overall relations with everybody around him adults and children alike. In all his life he hasn't really done anything overly ambitious but still he has secrets like everyone does and his is a bit more dramatic than many of other peoples are.

He is a genius not to say the least in no small way but he has either never found the conviction to try hard to either increase his grades or the way people view of him. he had learnt at an early age that he was ahead of the class in many of the subjects they we starting on such as maths and English as well as foreign studies and saw others the same and were being scorned so he kept going along with the class never asking questions and never showing off and of course not even telling his parents but in all his life this hadn't really bothered him but he had found an escape for his boring life in fantasy books about elves, dwarves and dragons, where heroes rise up and saw the world but he found a flaw after a while in reading these books and that was that he found that the "Bad Guy" be it a demon lord or Satan they would always lose in some stupid way over and over and they an idea struck him.

"I could do that job and do it better than these stupid books" and slowly he thought up a plan of what he could do if he was a "Bad Guy" but not too seriously as to be obsessed but just notes jotted down now and then to keep his mind on something while he was bored in class or at home.

And then it happened "New Life" came out, a new VRMMORPG that everyone is talking about and playing with capsules to move your mind over to the game world. At first he really wasn't very bothered about it but after about a month went by and he was flicking through the channels on his TV he came across a reporter reporting about what was happening on in game with his Avatar, he had thought this interesting and continued to watch the massive battle going on but as he had previously thought that while it can be anything big as its only been out for a month, his jaw dropped to the ground and his eyes went wide at the landscape that was before him as it looked as it was right out of one of his book that he has read.

Dwarves are fighting massive Orcs with huge sledgehammers while being assisted by elves from behind that were firing offence magic that the enemy crowd while healing as well with humans assisting them and also attacking with their long swords and bows. And then it hit him, he could now be the “Bad Guy” that he always wanted to secretly be now in this fantasy world with none of the laws of reality that bind him were effecting him in this one.

He decided it was time. For a year after he applied all of brains and did everything he could do from leaving his friends behind and astounded both his parents and his teachers in all the knowledge that he could get from google and text books from around his school, in this such small time frame he found a job that he was good at and got promoted several times and was getting a fairly good salary even though it was a basic job that was feed into his newly made bank account, he passed all his courses online and got all of his qualifications that even some companies that had noticed his new interest in VR scouted him and of course he had turned them down, after this he became a shut-in of sorts while looking up information on “New Life” and what had been going on inside the game and going out to work all while still chatting to his family and enjoying their company since they had been seeing him act strange over the past year after leaving school with top grades in all his subjects over a year before anybody else had been even able to react at what had been happening .

-About year later-

About a year later he had prepared everything he needed and all that was left was to enter his new capsule that was all new in his bedroom, he had told his part time work and called that he was taking a month off after the month was over and just stated that is was for family reasons and to let it go, he had set up a routine where he would exercise and eat for the minimum amount per day to be allowed to be able to play the maximum about of time to play and keep healthy at the same time.

This was it, Jason was standing in front of the newly installed capsule in his room with his timer set on the side of the capsule to alert him in-game when it goes off as the game it 5 times faster than real life just so be careful but that was for then and this was now so with an amused expression he entered that capsule and let the scan envelop his body and after 20 seconds or so he heard the message

Welcome to New Life. From your brain and iris scan you are an unregistered player, do you wish to connect to your "New Life"
