Creation 1:1

There was nothing,

no Heaven, Hell nor Earth.

All that existed was chaos.

For eons had passed

and in them only war.

Creation 1:2

Terra, High Queen of the Mountains.

Azura, Lady of the Deep.

Skye, King of the Storm.

And Ares, Warlord of Fire.

All fought for power.

Creation 1:3

Until the voice of the Maker rang out.

The first word ended the war.

The second word became the four Elemental planes

on which each elemental lord rules.

The third word became all that can be

and from it the Firstborn were made.

In His image he forged them,

and by their will

may everything be done.

Creation 1:4

Alilth, his most beloved firstborn, Beauty itself.

Bamatah the Mighty.

Tiahma, Keeper of the Key to Heaven, twin of Bamatah.

Maira, Ambassador of Heaven.

And Ravan, the Messenger.

Creation 2:1

They all took a piece of Heaven and made it their own.

Alilth created beautiful gardens where plants were perfect.

Bamatah forged a mighty sword out of metals only known to Heaven.

Tiahma raised a wall of gold around the City of the Maker, with a gemstone gate and key.

Maira went to the elemental planes and sang the song of peace.

And Ravan made wings out of clouds and called Heaven sky home.

She flew there and sang the Maker’s words alone.

Eons passed and all was peace,

when one day the voice of the Maker once more shook Heaven.

“In my image I made you,

my Firstborn.

You have been given command over Heaven.

Yet you create nothing new,

all is as it has always been.”

Creation 2:2

And thus the Maker turned from his Firstborn,

to make a new world

and he spoke to the elemental lords.

Creation 2:3

He said to Terra:

Giveth me a world of rock and stone, as hard as yours.

And it was done.

He said to Azura:

Giveth this world a sea as deep as yours.

And it was done.

He said to Skye:

Giveth this world a sky as mighty as yours.

And it was done.

He said to Ares:

Giveth me a light as bright as your fire and place it in the top of the sky,

let it shine for eternity.

And it was done.

Creation 2:4

No longer was there nothing outside of heaven’s formlessness.

It was united, coherent, for there was balance between all.

With Earth, Fire, Sea and Sky

at last did the Maker

from a piece of Heaven, form new life.

And he placed all living things in this new world and said:

Creation 2:5

“You, my Second Born,

shall be blessed by

an ever burning Flame.

May it guide you

and enrichen your life.

From Heaven I crafted you,

and to Heaven you shall return

when death takes you from this mortal coil.

Tell me your stories.”

Creation 3:1

And then the Maker left the new world,

Retiring within a small piece of Heaven.

And there He dwelled waiting,

to hear all the wonderful stories

His Second Born would create.

The Fall of Gods 1:1

No longer under her Father’s gaze, Alilth

at last designed something new,

something toxic:

Envy.

She looked down upon the new world and all the lesser ones,

the Second Born.

Within her heart grew

an ever-consuming spite.

So she, in secret, spun a plan.

“I have vast power over Heaven,

I should rule the mortal plain as well.

And the Inferiors will be thankful

for the mercy I’ll show.”

The Fall of Gods 1:2

The gardens once so neatly kept

now filled with thorns

for their keeper was spinning

sinister schemes of woe and war.

The mortal realm to rule,

all to feel her scorns.

The Fall of Gods 1:3

Tiahma held her four heads high

as all creatures who died

passed before her judgment by the shiny gates.

The Fall of Gods 1:4

Not only dead came by her gate

each day and each night.

Wandering in dreams they came

their story still not done.

She told them to turn back

Their future still so bright.

The Fall of Gods 1:5

Alilth one day came to her and said

“Oh poor Tiahma, so many to watch over

Surely you must need some rest

I can lead the dreamers and the dead.”

The Fall of Gods 2:1

Seeing no reason to mistrust her sister

Tiahma gave the key away

knowing no one would miss her.

Yawning she said: “do not lead

them astray.”

Then she went to find some rest

by the Makers feet.

The Fall of Gods 2:2

Alilth from her sleeve

produced a thorny branch.

From it she created a new key.

When Tiahma came back she had no idea,

that her lovely craft had a twin made of wood.

The Fall of Gods 2:3

“Thank you Alilth,

now my rest is done.

I see you manage to hold my place,

my work was not undone.”

The Fall of Gods 2:4

Alilth took her new key

and put it in the golden wall.

Forth came a gate of thorns,

leading to her gardens.

The Fall of Gods 2:5

The dead were not welcome there

but dreamers.

She twisted them in endless sleep

until they became her schemers.

The Fall of Gods 3:1

“You shall have my mercy

if you build me temples

in your mortal realm.

Thus you shall find your way to Heaven

again."

The Fall of Gods 3:2

And so the dreamers awoke,

thinking they were saved

by their Lady Alilth.

In her honor they built

monuments high as the sky.

The Fall of Gods 3:3

But all were not so lucky,

for their mortal bodies

could not take the strain

of a never ending nightmare.

And so they became the second

of all of Alilth’s creations.

Spiders of great poison.

The Fall of Gods 3:4

Through hidden passes

by the elemental planes

the spiders once mortal

returned to their realm again.

The Fall of Gods 3:5

In her foul temples

they sacrificed His children.

Horse, oxen and man,

their blood became her carriage,

their prayer led her way.

Once in their world

her least whispers sprung great rivers,

her word flattened mountains.

With terrible power she ruled all.

The Fall of Gods 4:1

Tiahma had long seen

the sacrifices go by her gate.

Now she saw her sister

in the mortal realm

She was angry, that could have

been her instead.

But she was at her guardpost

caring for the dead.

The Fall of Gods 4:2

“NO!” She cried

“No more can see the Maker,

If not praising my name

I alone hold the Key to Heaven!”

The Fall of Gods 4:3

The gate of Heaven closed

Not one more to enter.

The restless dead soon filled up Heaven

And some of them rose again,

but their stories not told, they got twisted,

monstrous and foul.

They became the first of the demons

filled with rage.

The Fall of Gods 4:4

Far away from Alilth,

some uttered Tiahma’s name in prayer

wanting to see their Maker.

She said unto them

“Take me to your world, and I will let you in.

The Maker, He sits waiting, now begin!”

The Fall of Gods 4:5

Their work was slow but steady,

all wished to be sacrificed.

For Tiahma let who died for her in.

Others had to wait.

What she did not think of,

was the stories they would tell.

The Fall of Gods 5:1

Soon boomed a voice from Creation itself

shaking the very foundations of Heaven:

"Ungrateful Children! You had power

to shape all things to your will,

and you have made only poison."

Those who were left behind 1:1

The Maker saw that he had wrought amiss.

He gazed upon those of his Firstborn still loyal to him and said:

“I gave you the power of gods.

Now listen closely to these, my last words.

Bamatah, my greatest, you shall take my place as Leader of All.

Protect my Children from Alilth and your twin.

Those who were left behind 1:2

Maira, tend the gardens of Heaven and Earth

so that Alilth’s spiders can’t spin their webs

over beautiful flowers once more.

Become a masterful hunter of Evil.

Those who were left behind 1:3

Ravan, no longer shall you sing my songs,

you shall take the burden of the dead.

Listen to their stories and make them whole again.

My throne is now yours and so is Tiahma’s key.

Write their stories in great stone and sinners,

send them here.

Those who were left behind 1:4

The Maker lifted his hand.

Under the Earth of the living a new Heaven was built,

a prison for those who gladly helped the forsaken Gods.

And in the deepest cells were Alilth and Tiahma.

Those who were left behind 1:5

“Forever shall you be twisted,

by what you did to others.

Farewell now, my Children.

One day I might come back,

to see what wonders

all of my Children have created.

Those who were left behind 2:1

So He was gone,

and all evil beings flooded to this new Heaven

to be called Hell,

to torture those who made them.

Those who were left behind 2:2

But soon the imprisoned would become

the rulers of this new place.

Stripped from their power in the mortal realm.

They at least had this one.

Those who were left behind 2:3

Bamatah felt lonely on his throne, everything at his command.

He passed down to the living, to give a helping hand.

There he found a woman, of elven folk, was she.

As beautiful as stars and sea,

as strong as the hardest leather.

He gave her the sky, so that they could be together.

Those who were left behind 2:4m

So was it that a new Goddess born,

Aluna was her name, watching over all at night

and keep Evil at bay.

Together they had children,

in his image they were made.

Dragons out of metal,

Keepers of the mortal world.

Those who were left behind 2:5

Tiahma from her prison,

saw this newborn race.

And with the greatest evil

she procreated her own.

A twisting image of poison,

the first green dragon took to the world.

Destruction was his goal.

Those who were left behind 3:1

Whilst in the world of mortals,

some of elven kind,

a greedy bunch they were,

as they wished to rule over all.

“We do not feel the mortal coil if not by sword be slain,

Why shall we let others much younger than us

Have the same say?”

Those who were left behind 3:2

And so began a war,

for ages it raged on, fanned by whispers from prison.

The whispers gave them dark powers,

that would make the world undone.

Though defeated they were

and what remained ran,

far beneath the earth.

There they dwell,

still listening to Alilth

the Spider Queen.

Those who were left behind 3:3

Maira, saw the elves

who now were beaten.

Who were free from guilt.

As human, dwarf and dragon

were descending on them all,

she showed them the secret passages

in her forests and there they will forever be:

guardians against all that threaten her gardens.
