Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
I was standing on the ground looking at the horror that was right in front of me. My heart shook and beated with such force that i thought that it would break out of my chest. The little figure that was in front of me, layed out in a awkward position with no movement at all. She was staring at me with lifeless eyes, her face so young and innocent. I never knew her, but I felt...connected. I felt cold, but I looked around. It felt i was looking a water painting with smudged colors and blurry images. I saw flashes of white and black clashing as if fighting. Some were flying, while some were on the ground. There were those that were small and then there were two that in a sense, out shined the rest. One was so large and white that it was almost beautiful as if it was as churches described as gods rays of light, the other, equally as large, was so black that one felt a chill just looking at it and would be devoured by it. After watching the struggle in what seemed like slow motion I noticed a grey light as well. Then for the first time, I heard something, two figure running toward the girl. I then look at the girl once again and see a grey shadow holding the girl. Behind him i see 2 dark smiles lingering, at this point I noticed the shadow was crying. It raised its head and screamed with it feelings of sorrow and rage. It heaving and shaking as not believing that the girl was dead. Then all faded into darkness, and I was left alone.
