Amelia sighed as she sat up in her bed, she glanced towards the window. Moonlight trickled through her curtains, but even in the dim light she could see quite well. She was uncomfortable, sleeping with wings wasn't easy. Horns made it worse, you couldn't sleep on your side or back. She had eventually set her pillows up to cup her horn while wrapping herself in her wings, she'd finally been able to sleep like that.
Though something or someone had awoken her. "Amelia, are you awake?- yeah, I am now.- apologies, but we must start preparing your body for it's full transformation and we can only do it under moonlight.- Prepare it?" Amelia was confused, she'd been under the impression that her body would slowly transition from human to demon.
"Yes, if we leave it be you'll lose your ability to use human magic. So we must prepare your body so it doesn't fully become a demon. Come now get up." Asmodeus urged her and received a sigh as she stood up. "So what are we gonna be doing?" She asked as her feet touched the cold wood floor. "I apologize In advance, this will be painful.- it's ok, what do I need to do?- We need the knife used for rituals, the one they used to try and seal me in the beginning do you remember?"
Amelia slipped from her room as she was reminded of that night. The surfacing memory seemed more real than the present as it washed over her.
Amelia gasped in pain as she was dragged into the main church's altar room. She was wearing a nun's uniform but she was writhing in pain as blood dripped from her eyes and wings had ripped from her back, not to mention the blood dripping from the Horns on her head. She whimpered as she was thrown to the floor, she had been dragged here by the metal cuffs on her wrists. She now looked up at the Pope, the room she was in was a grand cathedral. The windows were stained glass depicting Gia and her triumphs over Loki. White pillars lined a red carpet that led to the altar and pews ran parallel to that same carpet.
"Amelia Brighton, you've committed a grand sin and listened to the whispers of a demon." He approached her and dragged her towards the altar. "Do you desire salvation, repentance, or had this demon conquered you?" She could hear his voice through the murky waters that were trying to drown her mind.
"Y-yes, I. . . I. . . Repent." She struggled to force the words out as they felt like physical objects in her throat.
"Very well." The Pope pulled a ceremonial knife from his cloak and cut her clothes off, he then led her to the altar and draped her over it on her stomach. With that same knife, no warning, and no empathy. He began to viscously hack at her wings causing an immense amount of pain as she finally surfaced. She couldn't hold back as tears and pain filled howls filled the church hall. She watched lethargically as he tossed her torn and bloody wings to the side. The knight of the Church who had brought her here stepped forward and with a quick chant, set the wings ablaze.
"He then pulled out a hand sickle and started hacking at her horns, pain trickled down her temples mixed with the blood that puddled on the floor beneath her, she was numb to it at this point as her thoughts were preoccupied.
"You won't win lowly mortal!" A haughty voice spoke laced with disgust. Amelia turned to see a voluptuous woman with reddish-black skin, wings, horns, and a succubus like tail. Amelia got to her feet and stood with naive defiance.
"I will, I'll cast you out demon. Gia will be my light, I may be a lowly nun but I will work hard and one day I'll make my dream come true!" She yelled, the demon before her winced in annoyance as she flew closer.
"Hey, you got a pretty strong soul huh." A smile lit her lips. "I'm sure it's tasty, and with a body reinforced by such a strong soul it could actually hold my power." Amelia squealed with surprise and punched outward, landing a hit square on the demon's Cheek.
Asmodeus was thrown back, a burning sensation welled up and she realized she'd taken damage to her soul. Shit I'm weaker than I thought, how unfortunate. Her soul isn't just devout it's already been touched by divinity. She has a destiny that involves the god's it will be hard to interfere I'll have to trick or control her mind.
"Damn that was a hell of a right hook kid, I'll tell you what. Why don't we make a deal, a contact. We can both get what we want out of this." Asmodeus offered with a smile.
"With this you're ready to be cleaned." The Pope spoke out as he tossed a bloody demon tail to be burned by his knight. Amelia appeared to be unconscious now, he picked her up and carried her towards a pool fed by a trickling water fall. He stepped into the pool and placed her in it, Amelia jerked and suddenly screamed, her eyes solidified as red demonic as she glared at the Pope.
"Fucking old man, I'll kill you, I'll enjoy ripping out your intestines while your still alive. I'll cook them and eat them in front of you damn bastard." Asmodeus hurled insults but she didn't move, she couldn't she was forced to realize she was mostly sealed by the anti demon chains and Amelia's consciousness still fighting.

"Yet you do nothing demon, you're before our God, now I will purify you and return this young lady to the light." The Pope lifted his scripture and began to recite a religious purification spell.
"Come now Amelia, you know this is best for both of us right, besides it's the only way you can get out of this situation." Asmodeus's smile was cracking, she was trying not to show it but this was very bad. If the old man finished his reciting, all the factors involved, even a truly powerful demon like herself would be purified.
"Um, miss Asmodeus, you seem panicked and in a hurry let me read over this first." They'd taken up a mostly business like air, but Asmodeus's patience was growing thin. She could feel herself slipping away, fear was gripping her. "This contact is complicated and I don't wanna sign something I don't know what I'm getting into. Think you could simplify it?" damn it! Simplifying will make the flaws obvious, shit I think I'm about to get actually. . . Her mind drifted to the real world, he was done with his scripture and the magic was beginning to envelope Amelia shit!!
"Ok ok, forget it, let's do a verbal contact. Just, give me an outline of what works for you!" Asmodeus panicked in her fear and just gave the reins to Amelia.
"Um, ok, how about. . . we share this body but I am host, my will is absolute. I can give you control of my body but I can take it back. And and um, you can't kill or do anything illegal without my acceptance." Amelia was thinking but Asmodeus was out of time, she took her hand slit both their palms and mixed the blood.
"There!! Contact complete!" Asmodeus sighed as she felt her power rise up and stabilize. She then got to work removing the demonic appendages from Amelia's body. She left the eyes, Amelia planned to give a half truth. She would be known as the saint and prophet who sealed a dangerous demon within her own body.
Amelia sighed as she stepped into the cathedral, she'd flown here to avoid all the patrols. She dashed up to the altar, a smile lit her face as she picked up the ceremonial dagger. "We will need to carry this out here, the holy water bath is needed.- Wait, that's gonna hurt you right?- yes but I can manage remember I was a general in the demon king's army I've taken my share of mortal wounds."
Amelia slid from her clothes and approached the bath. "First I need you to carve this symbol into your left cheek, then this one into your right.- um in my skin- Yes." Amelia frowned as the symbols surfaced in her mind. She recognized the first symbol it was a holy ritual symbol used to turn a location into a medium for holy magic. The other was an unrecognizable symbol to her, but she could tell it was demonic. She sighed as she prepared herself before gazing at her face in the reflection of the pool of holy water. She began to carve, tears almost instantly rose to her eyes as blood began to drip into the pool.
When she finished the two symbols she sank to her knees and panted softly as she nursed her wounds with holy water as instructed by Asmodeus. The demon bishop spoke through gritted teeth as she also seemed to be having a rough time.
"Next, this is gonna be hard, I need you to cut off your right wing and horn. Then once again clean that wound with holy water.- Yes.- I can take over.- No I must do it this is the path I've chosen." She then reached around to her right side and began sawing through her wing. The pain bloomed as blood pooled beneath her, the pain grew as she reached the bones and began hacking at them. It exploded outwards like it was bleeding through her veins, halfway through the bone she was panting and her consciousness was slipping. Suddenly darkness seemed to grab her, as she passed out with the blade dug into her bone.
Asmodeus sighed as she took control, their contract had been amended awhile back. She could force through if she needed to take control. Though there were restrictions, none stopped her from continuing where Amelia left off.
Asmodeus finished slicing the wing and horn of, she then stepped into the water and cleansed her body before picking the knife up once more and carving a holy magic symbol into her back where her wing used to be, it was a bit more complicated than the one on her cheek. When she finished she carved a very similar symbol into the side of her head, then with great pain she activated Amelia's holy magic and a beautiful white angel wing grew from her back and half a halo with a jagged cracked edge appeared around her head.
A chain reaction was released as a line carved itself through her from the center of her scalp down between her chest, between her legs and up her back to connect at her scalp. The skin on her right stayed pur and white, but her left darkened and flooded with a reddish color. As this was happening her eyes were closed, when they opened her eyes were now two different colors. The left was a red demonic eye while the right was Amelia's original blue eyes.
Asmodeus sighed as she stretched before grabbing her clothes and dressing herself before leaping into the air and flying out from the cathedral, she headed silently back to Amelia's room. The girl was on the verge of waking up.
Amelia opened her eyes, she was in bed, she sighed in frustration as she got up. "Asmo I told you I would do it myself. . . Wait, what happened to me?" She asked as she was stopped by her own reflection, she was looking herself over. "You're now a psuedo-angel and a half demon. It takes some complicated circumstances, magic circles, and forceful Creation of a balance system inside you between your two contrasting magical energies. Your a one of a kind species now." Asmodeus explained with a bit of pride. "Huh, so I can use both human and demon magic now." She mused as she summoned a ball of holy magic in one hand and darkness magic in the other.
"The future is looking up, I'm with you all the way Amelia." Asmodeus spoke with expectation, Amelia simply sighed as she sat back down on the bed. "Great Gia, when will things stop getting more interesting. I guess I'll have to keep working hard from now on."
