Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Toska lies a hundred kilometers from the mainland. It was once an archipelago which due to the war turned a wasteland. Winners make the world--and it was true (ask anyone living in Toska. They can feel the powerlessness of being defeated.)
Citizens lived in a decayed land: oiled waters, ashed forest, and smell of the dying and famine. Since the defeat, the country's name was changed. It was a one sided war--a struggle versus a game.
Born during the times of decline was a boy named Alexus. When he became conscious of the world, it was already peaceful, at least in his eyes, the eyes of a naive child who endlessly spend their days running and playing.
Alexus grew up a strong man and her single mother engraved ideals on him. When he was 19 years old, he fell inlove with a woman who got taken away by the circumstance. It was a pain--a pain he never felt before.
Her mother was slightly distraught of his inner conflicts which made her send him to a place--the Lands of Godzillions, China--where he met a mentor. He grew up there and became a successful businessman but not before long. He saw Patricia...
He was walking in the streets of Meng Long (means Dim Moonlight--something faraway and beautiful). People surrounded a cage which came from the Military's trucks.
He walked and made his was and peeked over the cage but before he reached...
"Meraki," a stout person tapped his back, "You shouldn't look. It's crazy." the person knitted his brows and shook his head.He smiled, "Why don't we eat squid balls? luckily, the shop's empty today."
What's over there, he asked. "Mother says we must not look. Come-come." he dragged Meraki. They walked to Kobi, a fast food restaurant.
"Mister Kobi!" said he."I don't think he's here Mangata," Meraki mumbled. "Damn, everyone's there on that cage." What's over there, he asked again. I don't know was the reply. Meraki (known name of Alexus Ali;Komoroebi Meraki) asked again.
"I heard they're people from Toska." Meraki knitted his brows up, he missed his mother. He hurried over there, maybe she's here. He was enthusiastic. "What are they here for?"
"I hear they'd be living here from now one. The government saved them."
"That's good to hear," he ran to the cage past the group of people already surrounding it. He was blocked. The military men were guarding the cage but he still saw who were on the cage--a person seemed familiar...
she was staring at him. Her eyes wide with fear and anger. He felt he knew her and he really knew her when he saw who was beside her-- Shaela Ali, her mother. She looked at him and recognized. She sighed assuredly and looked away...
"Mother," he muttered. She heard him so did the military guys but it seemed like a random word and there were lots of people. He walked past the metal chain.
"Where are you going?" said a tough looking guy.
"May I speak with mother?"
"Mother?"
"Yes over there." he pointed. The young woman's mouth widened and an anticipation rose up deep in her eyes. She looked at the older woman before her--her expression changed from glad anticipation to uncertainty. She looked at him and he looked at her.
"Where?" the guy said. he was let in and walked to near the cage. "Mother," he called,"she's my mother, can you let her out?" The guy laughed, "So you are her son, eh.We thought you're dead as in DED. but now, you're so DED!" The guy clasped and dragged him, "Help me Alphas. Son of that whore."
"No," he cried.
Nooo...
Nooo... a batter hit him in the head and he fell asleep...
"mother," he mumbled.
