Aeons later, the kingdom of Carthus, led by the Dragon Kings of House Dragos, finds itself at war. It is a war that threatens to tear apart the previously close-knit brotherhood of kingdoms that share the legacy of the Gods who once walked their lands. Meanwhile, heresy begins to take root in the kingdoms of the faithful and unseen hands move to ensure that the ancient prophecy comes to pass.
