August 11/7.00 AM

The first light of the morning woke him up like always,to him the sun was a beautiful shining wife told him wake up honey.He still had his shoes and uniform on because of his age changing clothes was hard.

The Old Guardian looked for his shoes,his wife usually put his shoes next to the bed but he realized again his wife was dead and he was 112 years old,still he looked for his shoes and he noticed the fact he was already wearing them.

In his old wooden house,every step sounded like an old plank he opened the windows to take fresh air which he needed because his lungs got old too just like every part of his body.

He arrived at his bathroom it wasn’t that hard to find there was two doors in his house one went to the basement,the other went to the bathroom,still he always opened the basement door first.

He looked at the mirror combed his hair which he didn’t have,still he always combed his hair like the youth handsome he was,he washed his face like the young handsome he was.

Oh boy when he was young this old guardian was the hottest guy in the village but now that village was a city yet everybody in that big city knew of the old guardian.

He made two plates of breakfast one had eggs in it the other one didn’t,he avoided eggs because he didn’t like them because of that his wife always got mad at him and put some eggs from her plate,still he didn’t like eggs but this time he was the one who took eggs from her plate. 

He finished breakfast but the other plate was still full,his wife usually casted an ice magic on his lunch but this time he couldn’t make a lunch for himself,still he used the leftover plate as lunch and freezed it like his wife did for him.

He arrived at the door,the first thing he did was to search for his wife's shoes,every morning when he was leaving to mess with his wife he pushed her shoe around and left the old wooden house,still his wife's shoes were there and he did the same thing.

He left the house like always but his wife always chased after him giving his guardian hat that he forgot.This time he didn’t forget it because he was an old man now he wasn’t going to let his wife down and he needed to cover his bald head.

But then he remembered,his wife was dead and he was 112.He saw himself and his wife arguing about a plant,he almost left the house but he needed to drop water.

He arrived on his backyard toilet and unzipped his pants but there was nothing there.He forgot his penis left him a while ago and every time he unzipped his pants he laughed his ass off,he pulled a tube out of his penis and used that as a platform to pee.

The Old Guardian was refreshed and checked everything to make sure he didn’t leave or forgot anything behind.he was full set like a soldier prepared for battle and he left the house.

Oh yeah…he forgot his work started at 11 AM like always.

He walked around in the city outskirts,his old wooden house was really outside the city and he only had farmers as neighbours.

A ball was dropped in front of him the kids were playing in the fields.One of them was a kid called rebun he was a good kid that even grumpy old guardian liked,he was a very polite kid and he was the leader of the kids.

Rebun:"Sorry Old Mister"

Old mister that was his nickname for the kids and their parents called him old man,everything yelled.

"You are old die already"

At him but he was a healthy man,he wasn’t just going to die like that and he didn’t care about being old but sometimes he felt sad too.

Old Guardian:"Where is your grandpa ? That old bastard threw his eggplants at me few days ago"   

He and Rebun's grandfather were friends,they hated and loved each other for fifty years.he was one of the oldest guy's in the city as well because of that they were stuck with each other but he was only 71 and old guardian was 112.

Rebun:"Grandpa fell on the fields and a tool hit his head mom said he was sleeping but they were crying do you know why ?"

The kid was holding his ball so hard that he was about to cry and the ball was about to blow but Old Guardian was surprised and he thought to himself.

Old Guardian:Oh my god he was so young why him.

Old Guardian was 41 at the time when Rebun's grandfather was born he was there for his first walk,he was there for his first word and that went for almost everyone in the city because people were seeing him as a luck charm.

He covered his eyes and he almost cried in front of Rebun and he patted his head with an old smile across his face.

Old Guardian:"Tell that bastard I will visit him soon okay ?"

Rebun's started to laugh,he loved hearing both of them fight,because both of them were important people to him and good friends always had a fight.

Rebun:"I will tell grandpa bye bye old mister"

Old guardian waved back at him and rebun started to play with the other kids.Old Guardian started to cry and he sat in a tree shadow.

Old Guardian:"I hope I visit you soon bastard"

He was old,he saw everything and he lost his oldest friend this was enough for a suicide he thought to himself but he started to laugh

Old Guardian:"I aint coming to your ass bastard I have shit to do"

He stood up refreshed,wiping away his tears,going to his work like always.

He arrived at the city doors the gate guards bowed at him as a gesture of respect and they opened the door like always he was the most popular guy in the city and everybody bowed at him while they were passing him as a gesture of respect,he felt like a noble walking in the city and he left the city again because the city was a shortcut for his work.

He arrived at the Morkent Prison which was located outside the city on a cliff and guards bowed to him like everyone but all of them had one more reason to bow to him.

He was the only guardian that stood a chance against the monster in the prison and when he arrived at the long stairs the entrance was covered with guards which was unusual.

When he arrived every guard turned to him with their faces white as a sheet.One of the guards.

Guard"Y-Yelt went there"

Old Guardian was outraged because every time somebody went in there without him ended up being killed by that monster.

Old Guardian:"WHAT"

He was pissed but the guards were already scared enough.That guard was already dead but there was always that chance that he was alive and so he took the lantern and started going downstairs.

When he opened the last door he saw a dead body in front of the iron cell,chess pieces were on the ground he knew what happened and he heard the monster's voice

Monster:"Oopppss It wasn’t my fault that he died you know he sucked at chess and he died out of nowhere after losing"

This voice came from a woman who was chained with 24 chains and many other things the only thing she could do was to talk other than that she could roll around with her legs and arms tied up normally her mouth was chained  too but Old Guardian took it off.

This woman was immortal because of the 24 chains each one of them was awarded to a major general to get out of there she needed 24 keys but stealing wasn’t an option or forcing they needed to open the cage willingly if not the keys wouldn’t work.

Rumors had it she lived more than one thousand years and destroyed the world twice but they were all facts to Old Guardian but there was one thing the monster loved the most it was chess Old Guardian made chess pieces out of wood for her.

Old Guardian needed to get the body upstairs but it was too hard for him to do because the guard that died was huge.

Monster:"Hey you went insane ? you can't carry that guy upstairs"

Old Guardian was prepared for this and he made a simple elevator,all he had to do was to yell and the guards would pull the load.

Monster:"Oh wow you are prepared so what about my breakfast ?"

She was talking about Old Guardian's lunch the prison food was three times a day and she got none because she was an immortal but she still liked eating his food.

Old Guardian:"No food for you two days"

Monster:"WHAA NO FINE I DON’T CARE AT ALL OLD MAN"

She turned to the wall and the Old Guardian sat on his chair like always this was them both of them didn’t look at each other because they were mad each other like kids.

August 11/11:30 AM

She woke up with her kid Sophie and her husband Helvian lying next to him,she was the first one to wake up like always and she stood up slowly she didn’t want her kid or her husband to wake up.

She opened the closet and wore her Major General uniform as she was about to wear the medals the silver medals made a sound and her husband Helvian woke up.

Helvian:"You going Selia but you said you had nothing to do today ?"

Both of them were talking quietly because their kid Sophie was still sleeping.

Selia:"I am sorry but something came up yesterday night I will be gone for a few days"

Helvian was surpised a few days with out his dear wife was too much for him and his child he looked sad for a moment and both of them heard a crying sound.

Sophie:"I D-don’t want mommy to go"

Both of them didn’t notice she was already awake.Selia went up to her and kissed her on the cheeks.

Selia:"Do you want anything I will buy them"

Sophie was a cute little girl of course she wanted things but she was a smart one too.

Sophie:"Mommy"

Helvian laughed and he pulled selia down to the bed and they played around for a while to make up with sophie Helvian fell of the bed after getting pushed by Selia.

Selia:"Sorry you okay ?"

Helvian lost his legs after fighting with a super level monster he got awarded with the hero medal and got married to Selia after getting confessed by her in his medical bed,she was worried about her husband helvian and she picked him up and put him on his wheelchair

Helvian:"Thank you"

Sophie loved to play around with the wheelchair with her father with happy face.

Sophie:"I want to sit on daddy's lap like mother"

Both of them got embarrassed they didn’t know sophie was awake yesterday they both looked at each other

"We need to be more careful"

They didn’t say this outloud but they loved each other so much that they could talk by just looking at each other.

Selia:"Now I am ready bye bye Sophie and Daddy"

And while she was about to leave the chief maid was there.

Selia:"Be sure to give helvian his medicine do not forget this okay ? If I hear he didn’t get his medicine heads will be rolling"

Without her family she was a cruel and a cold woman to others she was the only woman in the general council because of that she needed to act that way and so she left the capital.

August 12/01:30

Monster:"Your shift will be over right ?"

Old Guardian:"Yeah"

Monster:"Well wait I have guests incoming"

Guests were an unusual thing for her but Old Guardian didn’t care about guests that much he gave a simple answer.

Old Guardian:"Fine"

Monster:"Wow that’s your answer ? Fine"

The secret trap door opened and the first guest arrived.

A Beautiful big chested woman with dark golden hair,she was wearing a dress and the secret way wasn’t a clean path her dress was in dirt.Old Guardian checked her out like a man and he noticed something else than her big chest and beautiful face.

He was surpised to see an important people in this rotten and wet prison.

Monster:"Empress Consort Olivia welcome to my palace"

Olivia:"This doesn’t look like a palace my dress is all dirty now but who is that man ?"

Monster:"He ? He is the Old Guardian heard of him ?"

Olivia looked surpised for a second she thought the old guardian was a legend and held his hand with sparkling eyes.

Olivia:"Nice to meet you I am Empress Consort Olivia"

Because of her sparkling eyes Old Guardian felt awkward and she noticed this too.

Olivia:"I am dearly sorry to see such an old man I couldn’t help myself you look like 80 do you have any secrets ?"

Old Guardian:"Meh don’t have any,aren't you 35 ?"

Olivia:"I know I am so old"

Old Guardian was annoyed by her but he didn’t point it out like a gentleman.

Monster:"And here comes the second guest"

The secret trapdoor opened at the second guest was there.She was holding a sword and a lantern and she wore a military uniform

Olivia:"Oh my Major General Selia ?"

Both of them were surprised to see each other here,what were the odds of this happening.

Selia turned to the Old Guardian before she could ask any questions.

Monster"He is the Old Guardian heard of him ?"

Selia:"No I haven't,is he an ally ?"

Monster:"Yes and No he works for me and he is my friend"

Selia glanced at the old guardian she searche for threats like secret weapons and she found none.

Selia:"So not an enemy fine with me so Creator you called us here why us ?" 

Creator:"Nine don’t be so cold you know it is already cold in here now I just called you to ask for the key you are carrying open the lock"

Selia:"Nine ? I was twelve"

Creator:"UGH THREE OF MY PAWNS DIED OKAY ? YOU ARE NINE NOW AND SHE IS TWO"

Creator was acting like an angry kid but no one had the balls to say it(I am proud of this joke).

Olivia:"So why did I get called here ?"

Creator:"You ? Just wanted to make sure you two don’t kill each other and protect each other okay ?"

Olivia:"Ah I see"

Selia:"So The key right ?"

Creator:"Give it to him"

She didn’t want to hand over the keys to him because every general put their soul on the key so if the key broke the generals would die too and because of that they carried the keys with them.

Selia:"I don’t trust this man"

Creator:"Why ? He was the one who delivered you to your parents"  

She was surpised but that was enough for her to give up the key and the old guardian opened the cell door with his keys and unlocked one of the chains

Creator:"Yay good now you can all leave"

Old Guardian:"Before you leave don’t use the lantern too much it is night and there are patrols out there"

Selia:"I see"

And they all left the place. 

August 12/4:20 AM

Old Guardian was making chess pieces out of wood he didn’t need to sleep because tomorrow was a holiday for him but then he heard a knock on the door.It was Major General Selia,he knew she would come so he opened the door.

Old Guardian:"Sit down want some tea ?"

Selia:"Thank you"

She put her sword aside the chair and started glaring at the Old Guardian

Old Guardian:"If you have something to say"

Selia:"Yes why do you work for her ?"

Old Guardian:"Personal favours"

Selia:"You owe her ?"

Old Guardian:"Kinda and kinda not anything else ?"

Selia had more questions and she was getting impatient.

Selia:"About my parents what can you tell me ?"

Old Guardian:"You should know that-"

Selia:"I know that fucking creator created me but my fake parents"

Old Guardian:"I can see why you like swords in the age of guns"

Selia:"Why ?"

Old Guardian:"Because  your father was a soldier he lost his balls and he couldn’t have a child and I knew that man personally so I gave you to her that’s about it"

Selia:"My mother ?"

The questions started to come faster and faster,the tea pot was still boiling and you could hear the tiny sound it was making.

Old Guardian:"A sister in the church your white hair comes from her and your blue eyes come from your father"

Selia:"I see"

She was happy to learn about her family but she had more questions about the creator.

Selia:"What do you know about the creator"

Old Guardian:"Nothing much I know she lived more than one thousand years but that’s about it"

Selia:"Lies"

Old Guardian:"Why would I lie"

Selia:"I saw the chess piece you were making those are the same pieces in the prison"

Old guardian laughed quietly and the tea pot started to become more loud.

Old Guardian:"Nice eye I do know she destroyed the world twice and she loves chess and food but that’s really about it"

Selia:"Okay what about your wife"

Old Guardian:"My wife ?"

Selia:"I saw the picture on top of the fire place when did she die"

The tea pot started to sound like it was going to explode

Old Guardian:"What is the point"

Selia:"What ?"

Old Guardian:"There is no connection between her and my wife leave it like that"

Selia:"I knew it she is forcing you right ?"

Old Guardian:"No"

Selia hit her hands on the table,she was getting angry.

Selia:"Bullshit I have seen her malice in the dungeon she is far stronger than me and anybody I have ever seen"

Old Guardian:"She is a monster ?"

Selia:"That’s right"

The teapot was about to explode.

Selia:"That sound is annoying isnt it done ?"

Old Guardian:"She is a monster right ?"

Selia:"You said that already what are you talking about ?"

Old Guardian:"SHE IS A DAMN MONSTER"

Old Guardian pulled an old pistol out of the drawer and Selia threw her sword at the Old Guardian but bullet is faster than a sword.

**Bang**

She missed and the sword got stuck in the wooden wall but Old Guardian missed too the bullet was for her head not her stomach,she fell down and started to puke out blood but still she crawled and Old Guardian turned her with his foot,she was trying to say something but the blood was making it hard.

Selia:"P-Please let m-me"

Her hand went to her inside pocket to take something out but Old Guardian saw a shape of a pistol he wasn’t going to risk anything

**Bang**

A shot right through her head,the bullet went through the floors into the basement he hoped nothing was hit in the basement and took a glance at her face,she was crying and her hand was on her pocket,Old Guardian wanted to see her pocket and removed her jacket.

There were only two things.

A Pistol

And

A Family photo….

He turned the photo and saw this
