The ground trembled as the armored TVA enforcer stepped forward, its glowing eyes locking onto the trio. Standing almost ten feet tall, the machine-like figure radiated raw power, its arms humming with energy pulses. The remaining TVA Minutemen scattered, giving the enforcer space, while Harley stood frozen, his grip on the grenade Deadpool had tossed him tightening.
“Uh, Wade? Logan?” Harley stammered. “That thing looks like it eats grenades for breakfast.”
Deadpool squatted next to Harley, examining the grenade like it was a curious trinket. “Oh, this? It’s not your standard boom-boom. It’s a dimensional destabilizer. Or maybe it’s a tuna can with a timer? Either way, I wouldn’t hold it too long if I were you.”
Logan didn’t even flinch as the enforcer raised a massive arm, aiming a glowing cannon straight at him. “Kid, stop listening to him and run.”
Harley took Logan’s advice just as the enforcer fired. A beam of crackling energy tore through the space where he had been standing, obliterating the wall behind him.
Deadpool flipped over a chunk of debris, twirling his katanas like a cheerleader with pom-poms. “Well, well, well! If it isn’t Robocop’s angrier cousin! Let’s see how you like a little... Merc-wit-a-Slice!”
Deadpool charged at the enforcer, his blades sparking against its armor. The enforcer didn’t flinch, grabbing him mid-air and tossing him like a ragdoll. Deadpool sailed across the room, landing in a heap. He popped back up, his head slightly crooked. “Ow. My spine. Also, my pride. Mostly my pride.”
Logan, meanwhile, darted in low, his claws carving a screeching trail across the enforcer’s leg. Sparks flew, but the armor held. The enforcer responded with a swipe of its massive arm, knocking Logan into a stack of crates.
“Okay,” Logan growled, shaking off the impact. “This thing’s tougher than it looks.”

“Gee, you think?” Deadpool quipped, leaping back into the fray. He threw a smoke grenade at the enforcer’s face. The room filled with a choking gray haze, giving Deadpool a moment to climb onto the enforcer’s back.
“Peekaboo!” Deadpool yelled, driving one katana into the gap between the enforcer’s shoulder plates. Sparks erupted as the enforcer thrashed, trying to shake him off. “Logan, hit it now!”
Logan surged forward, his claws punching through the enforcer’s chest plating. He twisted them, tearing out a handful of wires and circuitry. The enforcer staggered, its glowing eyes flickering.
“Is that all you got?” Logan snarled, pulling back for another strike.
The enforcer responded by slamming its massive fist into Logan, sending him crashing through yet another wall.
“Yup, I’ll say it: that hurt,” Logan grunted, dragging himself out of the rubble.
Meanwhile, Deadpool was still hanging on for dear life. “Harley! Remember that grenade I gave you? Now would be a great time to play hot potato!”
Harley fumbled with the device, his palms sweaty. He wasn’t cut out for this. He was just a barista who liked comics! How had his life spiraled into a fight with an unstoppable time robot?
But there was no time to panic. Harley took a deep breath, pulled the pin, and hurled the grenade straight at the enforcer’s glowing core.
Deadpool jumped off just in time. “Boom incoming!”
The explosion ripped through the enforcer, a brilliant flash of light and energy that sent shockwaves through the room. When the dust settled, the enforcer was a smoking heap of metal, its glowing core now a dull, lifeless husk.
Harley staggered back, his ears ringing. “Did... did we just win?”
Logan wiped blood from his lip, glaring at Deadpool. “Don’t get comfortable, kid. They’ll send more.”
Deadpool dusted himself off, examining the wreckage. “True, but I think we’ve earned a breather. Maybe a nice chimichanga? Ooh, or a milkshake! Harley, what’s your favorite flavor?”
Before Harley could answer, another golden portal began to materialize.
Logan groaned. “Here we go again.”
But this time, it wasn’t another squad of TVA Minutemen. Stepping through the portal was a tall figure dressed in the imposing regalia of a TVA Judge. Their stern expression and glowing staff radiated authority.
The judge’s voice was calm but firm. “Enough. You’ve caused enough damage. Stand down, or face permanent erasure.”
Deadpool clapped his hands. “Oh, great! A boss fight! I was starting to get bored!”
Harley’s heart sank. He wasn’t sure how much more chaos he could handle, but it was clear that their journey through the multiverse was far from over.
