I quickly ran to the school into the training room it was really early in the morning so not many people were there to train

so i started doing my own experiment.

Albi jumped from my head and sat on the bench observing me

Good now lets start

From the books that i had read most of them instructed on how to control mana more efficient and sparingly so i started imagining

mana flowing through my hand and into my finger tips and after 5 minutes the tips of my fingers started glowing a faint blueish

light i stopped doing it and started concentrating putting mana into my index finger on my right hand it took only 1 minute to do

this time the light was more stronger then before so i started doing magic circles on the ground with my index finger.

I was doing it for about 1 hour but with no result the reason i was doing it because i thought that if i would do it more enough

i would be able to use it but that was not the case i was starting to get impatient and stopped to think some more

What am i doing wrong all of the books i read so far stated that if i put enough mana into my finger and start drawing with it

i could make a magic circle in which it actually works but only 10 minutes until it vanishes if i really needed to write a magic circel

every time i wanted to use a spell it would be time consuming and annoying on top of it.

I was thinking while laying down on the ground in the corner of my eye i saw mora coming i stood up looking at him he was

breathing hard and had sweat all over him he really did those turns huh

I started to think that i should not draw the circle but do it another way so i asked

-mora is there another way using mana to make a circle ?

-not that i know of it should be that drawing the circle with your mana is the only way i didnt hear any other way to do other wise

-so what if i shape my mana into a magic circle will it work ?

-hmm i heard about that i know what you are thinking shaping the mana in your hand to make a magic circle people

tried but it didnt work because mana is too light to be compressed into small things on top of it you cant touch mana

so there isnt a way to so you can shape your mana into other things but you cant make any details to it and when you draw with

your mana it is the same the symbols turn wryly when you write them not bold at all

Mora's explanation was easy to follow so i didnt have anymore ideas on what to do mora also just started doing his taekwondo

training in which i just watched and gave him some advice but in the corner of my head i thought about it how to use magic

i didnt want to use a magic device that wouldnt be magic at all and making use of other people was also a no go.

As i looked back to see the owner of the voice i saw catherine in her training clothes like yesterday mora also noticed her and didnt

pay much attention other then waving his hand to her.

So i started to explain catherine about my problem she listened to it and said

yeah i really needed new clothing when i thought about it i was wearing the school uniform since 2 days and some casual

clothes would be perfect

And with that said we started going to the city on the way mora told me to look into my group card i took it out and

looked at it the points on it were 3100 that was a lot mora also said that his count was 3100 so it means that we have a total

of 6200 points but if one of us loses we will lose 3100 points if this goes on hmm

After wards we just bought some things like school items,my clothes,stuff for home and so on we were just about to go home

We entered the magic shop there were a lot of items mostly staffs and robes thou i looked through them thinking if i should buy one

It was a book about deldurians mora seemed interested in the book but i wasnt i had a whole book about my race and something

like this wouldnt have any information that i didnt know yet.

I just gave him nod we left the magic shop afterwards nothing really happened catherine bought a hat made out of a giant bird

like creature it looked really funny.

it was still day 12:00 o clock mora said that he needed to do something catherine also had some plans so they left before mora left

he gave me the book that he bought asking me if i could bring it home or not so i took it.

I didnt have anything to do i was bored i came to the main hall where i registered for the group the other groups were

still there waiting for new prey but when they saw me they avoided me and averted their gaze i approached the giant request board

and looked if there was something interesting but no my rank wasnt high enough to make any good jobs and i wanted to rank up with mora

so i just returned to my room albi wasnt sleeping when we left the main hall she turned into her human form and was walking with

me maybe for a change of pace maybe ?

I was laying down on the couch and was staring the up albi was sleeping now i gave her some food and she started sleeping on my belly

i took the book that mora bought and started reading i finished after 30 minutes even thought it was really thick my memo skill and

bookworm skill were really high so reading wasnt any problem at all the book was about a dedurian who was called the weakest

of the weak he couldnt use magic so he decided to me a swordsman and trained for 20 years honing his swordsmanship and finally

beating anyone who called him weak with his sword it was a novel a very long story the name of the author

wasnt there it was strange the protagonist couldnt cast spells but used his mana to strengthen his sword by flowing mana into the

sword and making it harder and faster it was like a temporarily enchant he used quite often in the middle of my thoughts

something rang inside

-the mana that hardened the sword and made it faster how did he do that actually ?

The story never explained how he did it just that he trained for 20 years and then it was just the story about him fighting and what he did

what if...

I jumped from the couch albi fell on the ground she was still sleeping thou...

wow she sure would the get world record for sleeping

I picked her up and placed her at my should and started running to the training hall i had figured something out and wanted to test something

when i arrived i placed albi on the bench and started pouring all of my mana into my index finger like before but this time i would do

something different i when most of my mana poured into my finger i started imagining the mana grinding against each other for 10

minutes and after that..yes the mana on my finger had gotten a little less glowing but that wasnt what i was after i started

imagining a circle in front of my index finger i had pointed it towards a wall and after another 2 minutes the circle actually appeared

in front of my finger

-yessss

I was happy but still the circle was empty i cant do anything with it so started concentrate more it took me another 30 minutes

to make a smaller circle in the first one the circle had another smaller circle in it now i needed to put runes in between those

two and connect everything to the middle but how was i going to make the runes i could feel my magic slowly depleting

from all this time holding this one magic circle in front of my finger i was quite sure the more you are intelligent the more mana

you have and it was true mora told me so but still the actual mental fatigue i would get to concentrate was really annoying

I started imagining some runes in between the circles it took really some time to do and only after 3 hours it actually finished

the center piece the connector was the only thing that was left doing i needed to activated everything into one point and

-(whoosh)

I have done it but the result was really how should i say it not what i expected i small flame in in the middle of the circle

appeared it was really small 5 cm in length and 3 cm in radius

it took very long but it was worth i guess i have to thank mora

I smiled but that wasnt it suddenly
