'What? Let it go? It just tried to kill us.' Blake looked at the elf as if he had some mental illness. This elf was very weird but Blake could feel that it wasn't his own opinion but rather something he was taught as he spoke of the matter as if it was obvious that they should let it live. Since he was only helping the elf, he didn't feel that it was right for him to selfishly kill the bear beast.
"You see, we Druids believe that every life is important and that we have no right to kill beings that don't threaten us or cause harm to nature. Of course that doesn't mean that we hold back in fights as all lives including ours are equal." Spoke the elf grandly while looking into the distance.
'Oh, sure... Anyway, my name is Blake and you are?' Blake knew of these druids from games so he had a basic idea about them. They were basically worshipers of nature who used the magic of nature to protect the nature. Weird bunch in Blake's opinion but their magic was certainly cool.
"My name is Bobius but call me Bob. I am a Druid from Irontalon City's branch of Druid Guild, or more like Druid apprentice." Said Bob as he smiled at Blake.
'It's nice to meet you, uh, Bob. Would you mind if I joined you for the time being? I am travelling around looking for trea- I mean for cities to visit.' Said Blake, almost telling Bob about the treasures. He knew that Bob wouldn't believe him and that he shouldn't tell anyone about it anyway. He had too many secrets and he definitely didn't want to be turned into some sort of research experiment for the experts of this world.

"Sure you can, I want to know more about you." Bob was looking at Blake strangely as he said that.
Feeling a chill run down his spine, Blake backed off a bit as he slowly said, 'I am sorry but I don't swing that way, besides, is that even allowed?' He had the body of a hummingbird but he was a straight man inside.
"No no no, I didn't mean it like that. I meant the fact that you are so intelligent while being only a Body Refinement beast. So as to answer your question, it is frowned upon but if you are powerful enough, nobody will dare say anything." Bob was quite flustered when he heard Blake's question but he answered him nonetheless.
For the next couple of days that they travelled together, Blake learned quite a few things from Bob. They were currently in the outer part of the Darkwood forest which was a large forest filled with beasts that existed as a natural barrier between the Goldheim Kingdom and the Wohan Kingdom.
They were on the side of the Goldheim Kingdom and Bob was from Irontalon City which was on the south of the kingdom and it was also the city that was the closest to them. At least that was what Bob said but he got lost shortly after entering the forest and now he had no idea where he was. Blake felt that it was quite ironic that a druid got lost in the forest but he kept quiet as he noticed that Bob was quite sensitive about the druid stuff. Another thing was that Blake had to stop hunting other beasts as he would get a long lecture from the druid every time he tried.
A few days later they finally arrived at the outskirts of the forest...
