Strange things everywhere.

Strange things everywhere.

“What is this?”

Tristan looked at himself in front of him. It was as if there was a mirror in front of him. When he walked left, the image walked left. When he walked right, the image would do the same.

He walked towards the image but the image moved backwards. Running towards it was also useless as the image only ran backwards while showing its face to him.

“Where am I?”

There was nothing in this place except his own reflection . No matter what he did nothing seemed to happen.

“Wait a minute! That bronze plate!”

He took out a bronze plate from his pockets and held it in his hands. The bronze plate flashed as he held it in front of the reflection.

A light shone from the bronze plate and shot out towards the reflection’s bronze plate.

Space around him twisted and morphed into a field of bloodshed.

Meanwhile in another place -

A person in a similar situation as Tristan was standing in front of his own reflection.

A hoodie was wrapped around his head and the long cloak the person wore made it difficult to analyse his/her gender.

Boom~

The golden ball in his hand shone with a bright light before disintegrating into ashes.

A door appeared in front of the person and he walked into it.

Tristan looked on as people killed each other. Building were destroyed. Blood was splattered everywhere. Warriors fought in air. Fireballs, lightning and all kinds of elements crashed into the ground leaving it scarred.

“What the fuck is going on?!”

Tristan had tried disrupting the chakra in his body thinking it was a genjutsu but it didn't seem to work.

Tristan didn't really mind all the bloodshed but why does he get stuck into these stupid places?

A fireball coincidentally entered his eyesight. Before he could dodge it, he had already become meat paste. Maybe, he didn't know because his consciousness was sucked back into reality.

Clank! Clank! Clank!....

Chains wrapped all over his body while he his head was still trying to catch up with him.

“Shit!”

By the time he realised what had happened, he was already wrapped around in chains.

Warning! Please escape by any means possible.

Warning! Chances of death are now at 100 percent. Please escape as soon as possible to decrease the percentage of death.

Poof~

“Body replacement!”

A log replaced his own position while he landed at 25 metres away from his original place.

Blood flowed from his fingers as he slammed his hand on the ground.

“Reverse summoning jutsu!”

The chains that tried to capture him hit the ground and cracked it open but he was already gone.

The winds blew throw the window taking along with it the smoke that had accumulated in the room.

“Aaah! This is life.” Said the old man lying on his couch while drinking some hookah.

Looks like the old chap had finally finished all his tasks and was finally relaxing but a shrill noise just had to interrupt his period of relaxation.

BEEP! BEEP!

“Sigh~ Shut up I can hear ya!”

He slammed his hands on the table and threw his hookah away.

Swish!

The old man walked into a portal and appeared at the place where Tristan had vanished.

“Heh? Whats this? Shattered pieces of wood?”

He looked around to find anything else but he could not find anything.

“Looks like someone managed to escape… who's trying to cause trouble this time?”

“Damned their ancestors! What the hell is up with that place!”

“Stop your nagging and get the hell out!”

A small fox with a flame on his head angrily barked on Tristan's face, tired of hearing him curse whatever he was cursing.

The fox- Vuur was his only summoning monster. He had found it when he was going through his training period. His mission was to capture the little midget alive so he could have it as his first summoning monster.

After capturing it with great difficulty, he kept the fox in his system space because it was too troublesome having the little fox outside.

Light had created a space dedicated specially for summoning monsters so Tristan didn't have a thing to worry about.

“Being trapped here and attacking whenever I am commanded to is already tough as it is and I have bear with your nagging as well! “

“Shut up little midget, if it wasn't for your ability to talk I wouldn't have even taken you as my first summoning monster. All you know is how to shoot a little fireballs.”

“You think I like being with you! Freaking release me already!”

Full of anger and reluctance to accept that it had become a pet of a human, the little fox jumped up and scratched Tristan's face.

“Ouch! …”

“Little Bastard.. you want a fight?”

Please stop wasting time and summon yourself to the Ancestral mirror again. You don't have a lot of time to waste. Only one day is left before the time limit of the mission ends.

Tristan stopped himself from kicking the little brat and prepared to leave this place.

“Chech, consider yourself lucky. Next time I meet you I'll fucking rip your paws off.”

“ Hmph! We’ll see, who rips whose paws off!”

Tristan reverse summoned himself yet again to appear at the same place he had been attacked at.

Nothing was happening around him. There was only silence looming in the air, he couldn't find anything that could relate to his earlier encounter. The chains had disappeared and the ground wasn't cracked either.

“Was I summoned in the wrong place?”

He was expecting to find those chains again but what he did not expect to find was his reflection again. He was prepared if he found those chains but it looks like he worried for nothing.

One thing that still loomed around his mind was that why would something attacked him when he hadn't even done anything to deserve it.

“Was it because of the bronze plate?”

No, I can assure you that it wasn't because of the bronze plate. I do not know why the mirror would cause a mistake when it usually doesn't happen but I guess there can be exceptions some times.

Use the bronze plate again, it shouldn't happen another time.

“How do you know all of this and what is this place.”

It is the Ancestral mirror. It has two serves two purposes to the Ancestral stone.

One- it puts a person in a infinite loop where he/ she roams around aimlessly until they die.

Two- anyone who wants to enter should use the bronze plate to enter. When they show the bronze plate, the mirror investigates that person's mind to find out what motives you have to enter the Ancestral stone.

If it is for a negative purpose you will die no matter how powerful you are.

If you have no Ill feelings towards the Ancestral stone, you can enter without a hassle

“so your telling me it wanted to kill me back then because I had bad thoughts about this place?”

Yes

“I dont have any ill feelings towards this place!... Well, maybe a little but but it isn't enough a reason to kill me!”

Yes, and that is why I said it had made a mistake.

“Why didn't you tell me about this before?”

It wouldn't change anything.

“...”

It was way too tiring to talk to Light, than he had imagined. He took out the Bronze plate from his pocket again.

This time there weren't any weird illusions, only your regular- ‘space doors’ that could magically take you from anywhere to somewhere.

Tristan was back again in the reception room where he was captured by the beauty of the paint on the walls again.

This time around the receptionist was working seriously, looking over documents and using her pen to write here and there.

'How is this woman able to do her work without looking at the paint on the wall? Some women don't know how to appreciate beauty.’

“Hey! I'm back again”

“Yes, I can see that.”

The receptionist replied while still going through her documents and blocked her nose with a hand because of the sudden assault of stinking smell.

“Please take a bath as soon as you arrive, good luck.”

Displeased with the disgusting smell wafting around her, she clicked her fingers and opened up a portal throwing Tristan into it.

“Oy! Oy! Aren't you supposed to congratulate me with a smile? Wait! Don't just throw me in!

Ahhhhhhhhhh!”
