Author's Notes for Book One

What a lovely time this has been dear readers!

I am truly thankful for all of you for reading this far, and supporting me throughout this whole process. :)

FUTURE STEPS

First, I would like to say that I unironically have no idea where this book will go. Well to be more specific I'm talking about the physical book, not the story, I still have a lot of plot points I would like to hit, and I also feel like I'm so far away from reaching any of them just yet. Rest easy my friends, this book series still has a long and bright future (or dark future depending on how you look at it lol).

What I mean is that I am currently looking into the idea of publishing this book somewhere, like officially. Though I will admit I have no idea how that whole thing goes, I am in the process of editing the entire book in preparation for the day I figure it out.

Unfortunately this means I will be taking a small break from writing any new chapters, but don't worry mate, the editing will only take a few days, as it is purely surface level.

I would like to point out that I am very grateful and happy for the community I have now, but of course, I am still hoping to grow even larger. This is why I am taking the time to edit! I feel like the quality of my chapters have gotten better as time passed, and I feel like my skill as an author has as well. Hence why I am going back over all of my older chapters, as I wish to bring them up to the level of my current writing to an extent.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.

This doesn't mean I'll be changing the story really, I'm mostly just going to format them to match the newest chapters, and perhaps merge a few of the shorter ones.

Next, I've been thinking about how to advertise more, you know, get my book out to the masses. This stems from one of my regrets of not putting enough effort into networking, as I feel like my book could have gotten out there a lot more had I just reached out to some newer authors like myself for review swaps.

Anyway, I'm trying to remedy this for the future, so I am debating whether or not to create an advertisement for Royal Road, as I know a lot of other authors do the same. Maybe even make a Patreon in the future if I can get enough readers.

Besides all that, another thing I want to do is engage with my readers more! I feel like I haven't done the best job of communicating with you guys, as I really only talk at you guys through the notes, rather than with you all.

THAT IS WHY I AM DOING A Q&A RIGHT NOW!!!

I realize that I don't have a very big community, but this is an open invitation for you guys to ask any questions you want in the comments, and I will answer them in either the comment section, or the post-chapter author notes.

Furthermore, I am thinking about attaching more polls in the future, as a way to boost engagement.

Alright ladies and gentlemen, that is all I really wanted to say for right now. Perhaps I will add to this in the future once I think of something, but for now I will just end it with this:

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR READING THE FIRST BOOK OF MY SERIES AND I HOPE THAT YOU ALL WILL LEAVE A REVIEW SO THAT I CAN IMPROVE FOR THE FUTURE!!!!!
