Lars
Today we are finally going to shut down the ‘Bloody Ballers’ gang. They had been getting a little too close to our territory. Time to show them who's boss.
I checked my equipment. Knife, gun, ammo, check. This should be a walk in the park. I was part of a large local mafia, somewhat high up the hierarchy. We had many more members than these fools.

Hahahaha so foolish, so foolish of them.
Ahem.
Humans! Welcome to the new world. Survive! Thrive! Die! Or do whatever you want! Who cares?!
Ah, you are such a nice young fully sane human! You win a prize!
I give you an amazing personal system!
Bad luck!
What? Well, apparently, I have finally gone insane. Fantastic.
—----------------------------
I bided my time until my group was fully unaware. Despite having minor hallucination issues, I was self-aware and not stupid. Obviously, these people must die.
I would probably die if I let these fools live. They would just slow me down. The mafia has ingrained in me to kill anyone who may threaten my plans.
Once they bent down to pick up their credit coins, I swiftly withdrew my weapon from my coat and shot them all in the head, one by one. There was very little time for them to react, especially when I left the weaker people for last.
Easy.
Hmm. I have to consider whether these hallucinations are actually real. My group did actually mention them, and I did get teleported…I suppose I’ll consider them as fact for now.

Reaching down, I grabbed all five of the cards. Money!
Searching for an exit to this cave, I found only walls.
“System?! You here? I think you forgot to add an exit…”
Traveller! I am your personal system! I exist to help you! Wait ten minutes and everything about this amazing dungeon will be clear!
Alright…Weird. Ten minutes later, a large pyramid appeared in the centre of the room. Hesitantly, I touched the pyramid. A message appeared in my vision.
Hello humans. I am the shop. Buy what you want. You are to spend the next year in this cave. This is to prepare you for the outside world (though, I will admit I am sceptical of how useful this will be). Food and water will be given every day.
The shop interface appeared after. It sold food, water, stat points and soul stat points. The food ranged from one to five hundred credits whereas stat points cost ten each. A soul stat point cost 50.
The available stats to choose from were odd. Really odd. There were ‘passing’, ‘jumping’, ‘finishing’, ‘dribbling’ and ‘heading’. These stats were the same ones shown in the soul stats page.
Despite being a criminal, I knew all about football. Almost all Englishmen do. These stats reminded me of some characteristics which footballers are rated on.
I just realised that my credit cards have disappeared. I suppose that when you touch the shop any cards you have get deposited. There was a counter at the top of the shop which showed my 50 credits.
Looking at the options, I decided to buy a ‘jumping’ point. I jumped a few times and didn’t see a noticeable difference. Great. The shop is a scam.
To buy another stat point of any of the options it costs 15 credits now. At least the soul points cost stayed the same.
I’ll save my points when I have a better understanding of this place.

Around two months later
The cave looked exactly the same as it did the day before. I cannot do this anymore. The system is a complete scam. It will never let me out. I shouldn’t have killed my party.
My personal system never responds to me anymore. It seems to have given up on me after the first month.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
I placed my gun in my mouth and pushed the trigger.

Oh! Thaaats why. The earth years are that short?! Stupid…Stupid…Hah humans die of old age before one system year. Pathetic.
