A young woman, Elizabeth, is forced to have an abortion after her adopted parents find out that she is pregnant. Out of work, dumped by the father of her aborted child, and at a loss of what to do and the religious implications Elizabeth seeks for answers about what happens to a child's soul at the city library. There she finds a book and inside it one feather that when touched transports her to "the other side". Now in Heaven, she wants to find the Soul of her unborn child, but the feather that brought her there and it's the owner has another objective, one that brings  Lucifer back to redemption and Heaven.
