Synopsis
This story takes place in the Forgotten Realms Dungeons and Dragons setting.
Hein Slatecutter is an artificer studying a strange bronze tower, a tower he believes will be the staging ground of an invasion from the lawful planes. Hein thinks that an army of rogue modrons have allied with a psychotic, symmetry-obsessed monster, and plan to "fix" reality. He attempts to find adventurers to help him, but only finds an unpleasant reminder of his past.
Azra Holder is a man of absolute order. From following every law to the letter, to keeping clean and completely spotless, he prides himself on his dedication to perfection. Unfortunately, he's now washed ashore on an unfamiliar island with amnesia...and somehow turned to living stone. Azra finds an adventuring party who are going to a mysterious bronze tower that appeared from the ocean. When investigating the tower the party finds Hein, who recognizes Azra, and insists that he's part of the invasion. Azra, Hein, and the adventurers must unlock the secret of the tower and Azra's past if they are to stop this invasion, which isn't all that it seems.
