Chapter 3

In her past life, there was something she had always yearned to do—something that no amount of money could ever buy. For as long as she could remember, she had admired the villains of history. She wasn't sure where this desire came from, but it didn't matter in the end. To her, these characters were far more significant than the heroes who defeated them.

Gazei had a different opinion, but Rin dismissed his naive notions. She didn't waste time listening to his heresy. Rin always looked up to villains like...

Maleficent and Morgoth, figures who wielded power with an elegance and ruthlessness she found intoxicating. They embodied a freedom and audacity that resonated with her soul, a stark contrast to the rigid morality of the so-called heroes. She often imagined herself in their place, orchestrating grand schemes and commanding respect through fear and awe.

Gazei mocked her dreams, but that never stopped her from loving him. Like a friend, not a lover, and no one could prove otherwise, you hear. NO ONE!

She spent her entire youth in the pursuit of becoming someone who could rival those infamous villains. Every story she read, every legend she studied, only fueled her determination. Rin was determined to carve her own path, one that would leave an indelible mark on history.

She mastered all the skills a girl villain needed: the art of manipulation, the subtleties of deceit, and the finesse of strategic planning. Rin trained rigorously in martial arts, her movements becoming as deadly as they were graceful. Her sense of fashion was impeccable, always dressed in the latest styles that accentuated her commanding presence. And of course, she perfected the ojou-sama laugh, a haughty and elegant sound that sent chills down the spines of her adversaries. Her beauty became a weapon, her intellect a formidable shield, and her resolve an unbreakable fortress.

But none of that mattered in the real world, where a villain’s skills often proved useless against real-world problems like dying to a bullet or being outmatched by sheer brute force. Reality was unforgiving. In the end, all her skills couldn't protect her from the harsh truths of the world, where survival often came down to luck and raw power.

"I'm bored now..." Rin stated the little girl moving down the hallways of Pendragon castle. The princess of the kingdom never did have the greatest attention span on subject that don't interest her.

As the little girl went on her way, she focused her breathing to exhale five minutes at time and inhale for two minutes. The technique is surprisingly helpful because she noticed magic sooner than she thought possible. The game was realistic as heck, so much so that training your characters was like training in real life. You had to take breaks, find out what good for you, avoid unbeatable fights, injuries and impact your build, the works.

But seeing the glimmers of magic around the air at the age of two was unheard of. All around Rin can see the minuscule grains of light floating and shimmering. It reminded her of the time she bought the lake house on the night of the full moon so she can run naked under the moonlight.

Not only can she see the mana in the air, but she can control much as a B-rank Pathfinder. Rin can control her mana easily as did her limbs. "Almost there..."

In front of her was the room where all her plans would officially the start. The Black Coven and White Convenient. The most famous and dangerous witches of both hell and heaven lost to time.

Meanwhile, Hilda, looking happy and full of life, asked Gazei in his office slash bedroom. "Master, the shop has gained another project. The ladies would like—"

"NOOO!" Gazei cut in. "There's no way I'm gonna have them give me a damn sponge bath. No way in hell!" He protested and flapped his arms about wildly. Fafnir, who was flying next to Hilda, was suddenly grabbed by his master. "Take this dumb lizard instead," he gestured to Fafnir. "Stupid LBQ whatever open-minded world..." Gazei muttered curses under his breath.

Two years had passed since he was born in this hellhole of a city, and it was horrible. What did he do to deserve such a crappy reincarnation or transport? Whatever it was, it sucked.

Haven City, the city of dreams. They named it 'Haven'? What a farce. This place is a pit of corruption and decay, draped in a thin veneer of magic and splendor. Everywhere you looked, there was another noble lining their pockets with ill-gotten gains, another mage abusing their power for personal gain. The council members were worse than leeches—they were parasites, sucking the life out of the city and its people.

The city guard? Don’t make him laugh. Half of them were bought off by the guilds or gangs, and the other half were too afraid to lift a finger. Justice in Haven City was a joke, a game of coin and influence played by those who held the power. The magical wards and enchantments that were supposed to protect the people? They were just another tool for control, ensuring that only the privileged few benefited.

And then there were the gangs. Gods, the gangs. They roamed the streets like packs of wild beasts, fighting for territory and power. The Black Blades, the Crimson Serpents, the Silent Shadows—each more ruthless than the last. They extorted, they terrorized, they killed, all under the watchful eyes of the nobles who pretended not to see. Some of them even worked for the very people who claimed to keep the peace. It was all connected, this web of corruption and deceit.

"Ohhh! Hey, no touching me there." Gazei rolled his eyes in annoyance at another punk not respecting the you-can-look-but-not-touch rule. The streets of Haven City were filled with these petty criminals, all looking for their next easy target.

"Hilda kick that punk out..." Gazei ordered, and he repressed a moan of anger when the angel possessed human let a small squeal. Remember Gazei you are two years old and can't drink yet no matter how much you want too. Member Gazei you can't drink yet.

At least he had his video games. Thank everything that is holy in this world for video games. Well, more like crystal games since videos are replaced by crystals but the point is still the same.

"Hilda will do her best Master!" The maid said bubbly bouncing up and down as catching his perverted dragon attention.

"Let's go you idiot." Gazei grabbed the baby hatchling before he could say anything that would make him hit him.

"But the boobs."

Bam!

"Fuck! That hurts you jackass!"

Someday he will go one day without hitting the hatchling. He just knows it and it won't be today.
