Chapter 01 :- Magus Academy

It is already late at night. Cold wind is whistling outside, but in the room a middle aged man was sitting on the chair legs folded in front of the firewood. The room was filled was different kinds of weapons and were decorated on the walls. Little lamps were illuminating the entire room. In the deep silence a raged voice echoed.

"Why?"

This person is the 149th head of Warrior's clan ::

Glen Dreyheart.

Few years ago the entire clan was framed for smuggling divine beast cores from the Military Sect and banished by King from their position in Military.

In this world there are many kinds of beast's.

Lower, Middle, Higher and Divine Level Beast and more some of them even reached deity level.

And every beast's possess a core. Which is same as human heart if removed they die. But, just to kill a lower level beast, it takes a entire platoon of first level warriors.

This beast's cores are like Treasure to human race. With the help of beast cores, humans created many kinds of Artifacts and tools which can be used as weapons in warfare.

For example, a lightning beast core possesses, lightning effects and which is useful for a warrior who does not has any affinity towards magic. He can use lightning magic using core of the lightning beast with some tools or artifacts created using alchemy. The more the level of the beast, the power varies it. Not only that, a mage who uses same element can increase his offensive power through cores.

However, obtaining the cores are very difficult. The humans created guilds and even information booths to earn money. They are also many beasts which crossed the higher level which is more precious than low level beasts and obtaining these cores are nearly impossible for Normal level warrior's.

However, a saint level warrior can easily kill a lower level divine beast. But, most of them are do not care about richess because they persuade more power.

If someone earns the divine beast cores it will be the same a earning treasure box. A normal human can live his life with ease by obtaining a divine beast core.

Glen Dreyheart has started to picture the entire past scenarios in his mind. He kept imagining their downfall of entire clan and was looking at a firewood with full of rage. They were also one of the ancient bloodlines which served the Heaven's Empire and Dorothy Kingdom for thousands of years.

In these, all yeas they became the strongest military clan in the Kingdom and were the major strength of the kingdom's power. But, the king did not liked much about the warrior clan who were superior to his power so he did not bothered to investigate further and banished their clan. However, they did not lost their territories which existed even before the creation of Dorothy Kingdom. So the king did possessed any right to take their territory.

In the middle of his thought, two people came rushed towards the mansion gates and were heavily breathing. With a knocking sound, his thoughts came back to the reality.

*knock*

Glen looked towards the door and ordered his family Butler to open the gate.

"Boris, looks like twin brothers are back open the gates and prepare some rewards for them.."

"As you wish, Milord!"

The butler who was called Boris, nodded and slightly bowed before leaving to open the door.

"At last some good news, they returned quite fast given my son's nature it might have at taken at least few years to find him…."

Glen Dreyheart was thinking about his first son who left the clan at the early age of six due to his mothers death. She was assassinated by certain sect. To take revenge for his mothers death, he made his resolve to become strong and left for training.

After few years of investigation Glen found the sec which was behind her wife's death. Which was called Assassination sect. However, someone already destroyed the entire assassination sect. And he thought it might cause his son to undergo painful trauma, if the reason of revenge cease to exist.

With his resources of clan, Glen investigated the individual who destroyed the sect, and after the one whole year of investigation. They found the identity of the destroyer who avenged his wife death to thank him. Then he came to that the one who destroyed the Assassination sect. was none other than his first son. Which made him recognize his son's strength and also felt proud for having a blessed warrior in his clan.

"Milord, Milord…."

Two people came rushed and kneeled in front of him, there faces resembled each other, One can easily tell by looking at them, that they were both twins.

"Calm down, drink some water and Tell me the result's of your mission.."

Both twins nodded and replied.

"Yes! Milord…."

A few minutes later….

"Milord, as per your order we went to find young master. And after wandering and investigating for whole six month at last found him.."

a sigh of relief appeared on Glen's face, he was not 100% sure of this mission success. Because, Glen did know the whereabouts of his son. He was like ghost, who did not want to be find by others.

It's been 11 years last time he saw his son's face before leaving clan. So he thought twin brothers may not be able to find him.

Glen specially sent the twin brothers for this mission because they were his private investigation squad. and one of the best investigators from his clan.

Even, with their there help he was not sure about the success of this mission. And there was also one biggest reason, Why he chose Twin's to handle this mission. It was due to Elder brother of twin's who knew some whereabouts of his son when they investigated the Assassination Sect. Obliteration.

Without any delay, Glen ordered the twin's to continue their report.

"Milord, after visiting and investigating many cities and towns we found many clues about the young master. However, it completely flaw and placed by the young master himself to hide his tracks.

Even so one after one we cleared it and analysed throughly to get clues about him then. Then we reached the capital and made a stop to relax from exhaustion.

Even after investigating for whole six months. We did not achieved any result's which made us fall into desperation .

But, at the time like this, may be god wanted to help us or Young Master wanted himself to be found.

We saw a young boy whose appearance matched that of Young Master. However, with that we did not reached the conclusion. Last time when, I saw young master he was a kid at the age of 13 but four years had passed since then. I confused him for some another, However my senses did not betrayed me when I saw his same dark black hair and red crimson eyes, which was given that he was from Warrior's clan. The way he carried himself and they way his aura reflected made me felt like, I was in front of Lady Catherine…"

Glen who kept on listening the reports from the twin's made him fell excited deep within his heart and forgotten the grief from the past few years from knowing about his son's whereabouts.

However, last few words from the twin's made his heart twitch with a aching pain, a painful expression appeared on his face.

Soon the Elder brother of twin's who was excitingly kept reporting about his mission felt like he crossed his boundaries which changed the color of his face and both Twin's kept pleading for their life's.

"I apologise for my rudeness, Milord."

"Your humble servants made you remember the past.

We Plead for my life. Milord! Please have mercy on us, Lord Glen."

The Twin's kept on kneeling and apologising for their mistake.

It is not so rare for servants to loose their head's, If the nobles felt unhappy about the reports.

However, Glen was not like them. He knows very well that the twins did not mean to offend. So he ordered them to continue.

"Enough!! Continue with your reports…"

The Twin's without delaying, kept on continuing with report.

"We went towards the boy who resembled young master to confirm. When we called him, he immediately called us Twin brothers which shocked us and made us 100% sure that he Young Master TiAN. Young Master's height was about 175cm tall, and did not looked muscled like warrior. However, the pressure he exerted was far stronger than you, Milord.

And without delaying we gave him the letter which was given by you and brought back young master's reply…"

Glen did not felt much shocked from knowing his son's power which exceeds. While listening to the twins report a faint smile appeared on his face. Even, the butler who was listening to the report felt happy for the lord. Boris worked for more than 80 years in the household, he know about the present Clan Leader's suffering very well more than anyone in the clan. So after hearing the reports from the twins what Glen was feeling, he already felt deep within his heart. Without saying anything he kept on listening like bystander.

"Oh! So what did he say…"

Twin's looked towards Lord, who had a happy expression, without delaying twins continued reporting_

Glen already tried to reclaim everything in his. However, with his clan's downfall, they loat many resources and became the lowest clan without any power. He had only one way to reclaim everything and it was to prove in front of the Emperor of the Heaven's Empire.

Glen already understood that this Kingdom will not support his clan. After the death of his wife, he went into depression and now after downfall of his clan, he felt a heavy blow with too much pressure and took another wife.

Now, he had three children's because as a clan head he should continue his blood line and must have heir's. But, they are too small to be of any help for him. So there was only person whom Glen had to relay upon, who was none another than his first son TiAN.

"Milord, we did not understand Young Master's words deeply. However, we somewhat understood what he meant. After saying he will reclaim everything.

He said, he will return and When he return's they will understand the true ruthlessness of power….

Milord, these words felt more important than previous one's. So we felt somewhat puzzled about hearing it…"they".

Whom was he referring to, we are still puzzled about it."

Twin's after completing their report waited for Glen's reply. However, the reply did not came, instead silences stumbled upon them. Then a loud laughter started to emerged in the room.

"hahaha………….. My son…..hahahaha…….…..our……….. son……...real…did…taken…….upon….you…..Catherine…….hahahahahah."

The owner of the deep laughter was none other than, Lord Glen. He kept laughing after hearing the reports. Glen looked towards the Twins and glanced over butler. The butler immediately understood the meaning behind his master laughter. The one who looked puzzled were Twins.

Without any delay Boris went inside the another room and brought two sacks of gold which was more bigger than hamd carried pouch which was placed in front of the glass table.

" Zenki, Denki. You twin brothers did a great job this time. Here, take this is reward, don't hold back take it.…hahha.''

Zenki and Denki who looked puzzled came back to real senses and looked towards their Lord who looked so happy and kept laughing. Then both made their glances towards the sacks which was filled with gold coins. Without holding back they took the sacks which with filled with gold coins.

And awaited for dismissal order.

"You may return to your regular duties. After few days start investigating about the smuggling case. For now you can enjoy your standby time….

"Yes! Milord" both twin's nodded and looked satisfied before leaving the mansion.

A few days later after the reporting.

It was 9:00 PM at the Morning.

Sounds of birds chirping could be heard from the outside.

There were only two people left inside the mansion. Which was only used during the emergency meetings.

Glen who was the head the clan relaxed himself with hands folded in front of the chest And the butler who started to pour some tea in front of his Lord to make him relieve his morning stress.

Glen who relaxed himself took the tea cup and started drinking the tea within few min's he completed drinking and placed it back on the saucer and looked towards the Butler who looked like he wants to say something.

"Boris, is there something you want to ask?!"

"No, Lord Glen. I wanted to confirm something…" replied Boris in respected manner.

"Oh! What is it?"

The Boris was not only the butler who served the two generations of the clan, he was also the closest friend of previous head without hesitation he spoked.

"Lord Glen, I still don't understand Why did you ordered young master to become mage, I believe no one in the clan has the ability to use magic.

According to this old man's intellect no one in the clan was able to use magic even in the previous generation. However, they were blessed with superior life force and strength. Even so, I still don't understand the reason why you contacted young master and ordered him to join Magus Academy . "

Glen who listened to Boris did not know whether he should be proud about his butler's intellect or should be happy for his understanding about his clan.

"Boris, you have been been serving my clan for almost 80 years. You were also my father's best friend, your point of view is good. But" taking a deep breadth Glen continued " but, it does not mean there were never.."

"Lord, you don't mean ….." said Boris who understood the meaning behind his Lord's words.

"Yes! As you said our blood line is blessed with superior life force so that we can live more than other mortals do and strength far stronger than normal warriors. However, once in a thousand years a generation is blessed to use magic. I already confirmed it with my daughter and other sons…"

After his wife's death he took a wife and was blessed with three children. A daughter who was at the age of 10 and two sons whose age differs for one year, both were 7 and 8 years old. Every generation confirms their kids affinity with magic who might meet the requirement to become magicians.

So Glen used some tools from his clan treasures to check their affinity with magic and they passed the requirement. So Glen was 100% sure that his first son will be able to use magic.

"I know he will be able to use magic and become the strongest warrior of our clan who will surpass all generations…." With a thought he relaxed himself.

And Boris did not perceived the matter any longer….

AT the same time,

Tian is standing in front of the gates of the Magus Academy. He raises his head and looks through the gates. There were many scholar's at the moment walking here and there.

His hand is holding a letter as he walks towards the gates and mummers himself in thought: ‘So big…Is this is the Magus Academy"

The Academy was like palace which looked like wonderland. It was made of pure marble stones without any impurity in it. They were releasing different kind of holy energy which is good for mages to increase the better understanding the Natures gift Magic.

There were many students who were enrolled recently and there were also old students who were wearing dark brown robes and carrying staff with them.

Many guards were places in front of each buildings there were swords men and also warriors as guards.

New students were walking with there personal guards and some were with their parents. All of them were walking towards the two story building where affinity of magic will be checked.

Students will be able to enter the academy if they meet the requirements of Magi. (aka:-Mage/Magician).

Most of them were High classed Nobles son's and Daughters and also some were even from royalty.

Of course, not every one of them will not be able to become mage. Because, one in the thousand's are gifted to sense mana from the nature and able to use magic. However, there are some rare cases once in a generation. Many are gifted with affinity to sense mana. Due to that they are treated with care and whole kingdom contributes their riches towards the Magus Academy to train mages who are one of the big military assaults to kingdom. The more the merrier, war can be won easily with many mages.

while walking towards the building, TiAN was holding a letter.

This is the letter that Twin brothers delivered to him in the capital in Dorothy Kingdom. He once again looked at the letter and reads all of it at once. As he is reading, there is a complicated expression in his eyes. After a long time, he still has not put the letter down.‘Father’.

Tian quietly calls him. As he sobers at once. A stream of internal energy in the form of a flame issues from his hand, which burns the letter to ashes instantly.

After that, still with a grim expression he started to walk inside the building.

"Father, wait for me, Until I'm back….."
