Similar to The Backrooms, the Metro is an even darker and more challenging place for anyone that venture within it's boundaries. More hostile and more people/explorers, this makes The Metro having the potential for various and diverse story. How you enter The Metro? Many ways. You can enter via discovering it by random on excavation sites, leaving a rapid transit train or any type of train considering The Metro is also a place that can be a place where anyone can enter from any era or year. This meant that anyone living in the 1950's can come into contact with anyone that is living in the 2050's in the Metro. The Metro is also has infinite tunnels and systems that connect throughout the underground, its appearance will remind anyone of old school soviet metro tunnels that look like ones in the Metro 2033 Series. After some time of exploring you would find a huge complex called transfer stations that would be called central stations later on. Some of them would be infested with anything ranging from monsters to zombies. Some would even be converted into bases for communities. Of course if its a metro its bound to have an entrance to it and out of it, but all of them no matter what would be burried in rubble that can span for miles on end.
