Awakening

"Natsuki.... NATSUKI!" shouted Ichika as the final bell rang for the day. I had fallen asleep in class....AGAIN. I had a particularly weird dream that day, most of it is hard to remember but one part always stood out and stuck to me.... it was the day of the uprising.

Ichika, Kimiru, and I walked home together it was because we wanted to go somewhere. It was basically summer break so we went to the arcade like usual but wanted to get ice cream first. As we were nearing the cart something unbelievable happened, I felt the piercing stare of someone behind me, as I turned around I could see a tall slim figure standing in a black coat with what appeared to be a mask with monstorus teeth standing on one of the rooftops in the alley way. That's when I got the headache, right after he vanished into to thin air not leaving a trace, I grasped the sides of my head in agony as I fell to the ground. Kimiru tried to reach out for me before I fell but was without success. It all came to me at once images from dreams and ones I haven't seen before all filled my mind appearing and disappearing almost instantly.

Then I woke up in my bed without any perception of time passing, I picked up my phone to see two whole days had passed. For once I had more than fifty text messages mostly from Kimiru, and a few from Ichika which made me feel better. I could hear the distant chatter of the TV as I walked into the living room, my sister was watching the news as there was an apparent attack on the ministry of defense, where she works, which explains her being here this late in the day. What made chills run down my spine was seeing the footage of the building, it looked familiar for some reason. That is when I realised it was from my dream.

I fainted again.

I woke up to Ichika sitting next to me and Kimiru standing in the doorway. It sucks for Ichika to see me in such a state, to be honest I have been in love with her ever since we all met when we were little kids, and now we're soon going to graduate and be across the country from each other..... Ichika went to the kitchen and brought back a tray of food and medicine for me to take. I ate it instantly as if I was a beast starving for prey, I felt much better but that did not change my mood because I was still confused about all that I had seen. I did not want to tell anyone, because who would believe me? In my train of thought there was a loud rumble that shook the whole apartment as if it were an earthquake. It knocked out the power for a few seconds, and thats when we got the alert that there was a terrorist attack taking place in Chiyoda City. My sister, Toaka decided to turn on the radio because for some reason the news station had not gotten back online yet. We were all horrified to hear that a bomb went off and that there were tanks driving through the streets escorting another bomb heading straight for our area in the center of Tokyo......

And in that exact momment thats when it all happened....
