chapter 3 Running and Hunting (revised)

chapter 3 Running and Hunting (revised)

What happened in those 90 seconds you may ask, I'll tell you what happened. The hell beast took a single step towards the cute fluffy thing (which I am going to call Jeremy for easier use). After that Jeremy took 1 second to expand and become a bit bigger than the hell beast. He then took 2 seconds to enwrap the hell beast into his mouth (his mouth by the way being full of sharp teeth). He then took 55 seconds to slowly crush then swallow that poor, poor hell beast. The first 10 second I heard the hell beast screaming. After that he stopped screaming Presumably because he died.

I then ran. I ran and ran and ran, until I was sure I was far away from that monster.

I genuinely cried a couple manly tears of sadness for that poor hell beast . He probably had a family, with tiny little pup hell beasts. I guess that only the smartest, slyest, strongest monster makes it in the forest.

I click my tongue remembering that the entire reason I came into this nightmare forest was to get meat for me to eat. I know need to find an alternative way I can get food since most things here are vicious beasts. I just remembered something. My unique ability was fast learning. I completely forgot because of all the other exciting things that occurred. Since I can learn faster and this ork body really blends into the forest.....Maybe I can learn the habits of some of the animals in this horrible, horrible forest, making it easier for me to kill and eat the animals

A few things I learned while studying these monsters was that all the “animals” here are evil-blood-sucking-vicious-monsters. Even the herbivores and plants can kill if they have to.

Other than that though I now have a target. A target that looks like a cow (a hell cow). I learned basically everything about them. There feeding habits, there roaming grounds, how they treat their kids and elderly (poorly). Equipped with all this knowledge I start hunting them the next day.

This narrative has been purloined without the author's approval. Report any appearances on Amazon.

They are big, luging, red cow monsters. The fact that I am doing this (hunting big hell cows) does not go over my head, seriously I am hunting monsters for sustenance. Anyway I need to focus now or these hell cows may actually kill me.

There is large roving herd marching forward in a pretty unorganised mess. There are a few general rules though, such as the young being in the middle, and the old and sick in the back.

My plan is to disrupt the herd and get them to leave behind the old slow ones then pick the weakest ones and kill it.

I start making the a big boulder spell when all of a sudden I hear a loud horn “ooooooooooowwwaaaaaa”

All of a sudden I see a big ass wolf with an ork riding it. In just a few minutes 5 other riders barge in. 4 riders come in from the side making the main herd run while the old and sick remain. The other 2 make quick work of the other hell cows.

The entire time this is happening I try to decide whether this is a good thing or a bad thing. Thinking about it, they may just eat me since they may be evil cannibals.

But the thing is I can’t spend my time just trying to survive because that could drive me insane.

True I may not be the most extroverted but I still need a bit of human interaction, I mean ork interaction.

While I am thinking about all of this I accidentally wander a bit outside of my hiding spot making it really easy for the orks to spot me. Which they do. They then get off their rides and walk towards me.

Guess I don’t really have a choice any more. Anyways now need to have some sort of lie identity before they meet me. Ugh. I am horrible at making up lies.

They're here now and I have absolutely no identity.
