Prologue
In a dark, nondescript room a hole appeared. Not a hole in the sense of a hole in the floor, the walls or the roof. It was more a hole in reality, in space itself. Most people would describe it as black, but it was not black. Black is the absence of light, but the hole was the absence of more. It was as if the natural laws, that govern our world, were bending around the hole, not willing to try to fill it out.
Slowly in the absence of everything that was the hole, something began to form. Its contours first blurry became clearer and clearer, slowly forming the figure of a man. The colour seemed to flow inside his figure as the hole began to fade and the world started to take the space it occupied back. The figure of the man became more and more tangible as finally the hole faded completely away. It revealed a young, handsome man in his early twenties that wore a slightly haughty expression on his face.

“I’m Daichi Watanabe. No need to explain, your goddess already told me about the whole summoning thing. Let’s get right to the world saving I got an awesome ability I want to test out.”
“You’re from Japan?”
“Indeed I am. Where exactly…”
The rest was not audible over the roaring of the meter-thick fireball that flew from the other side of the room and accurately landed on his top body. A quick scream was all he could muster before the flames burned through his skin turning it directly into ash as the fireball flew straight through the space his top body occupied, burning his body to nothing in the process. Only two cut-of legs, loosely connected though the bit of skin that was once his crotch, survived the spell. After a quick moment, in which the two legs tried to contact the no longer existent brain, they fell.
“Fucking bullshit spell! Can’t even take care of a level 1 Baby.” A voice let out, cursing his spell, which was definitely not at fault for his own lack of talent. The voice belonged to a scrawny looking man with an unhealthy pale skin, who now walked out from the shadows in the opposite corner. Only to gaze with a hateful look at the two lumps of flesh, which had refused to turn into ash.
