Infirmary

When Jace woke up, he found that he was in the infirmary and his whole body was bandaged.

“What happened?”-Jace

“When we reduced the speed, all the pain came back to you and overloaded your brain, due to which you passed out. As I am a separate entity that is still a part of your brain, when you passed out, I was only conscious for long enough to stabilize the rotation at a stable speed. I am very sorry, sir, for not keeping a constant eye on your vitals and letting you fall in this situation.”-Emi

"Don't worry, Emi. Everyone makes errors. Do you know for how long I was out."-Jace

"No sir. I only woke up a few minutes ago."-Emi

Just then, a nurse enters and sees Jace sitting on his bed.

She was very much like a nurse you would expect to see in an anime with all pink clothing and right curves at the right places. Not that Jace would care about such a thing as he is just a 5, soon to be 6, year old.

“Doctor! Young master is awake!”-She shouts in the corridor and then comes back to check on him.

“Young master, do you feel any pain anywhere?"-Nurse

"Just a mild ache everywhere. It isn't serious. For how was I out?"-Jace

"A little over 3 days, Young master."-Nurse

"3 days!? Was it really that serious?"-Jace

"Actually Young master, since you had controlled your mana rotation to a comfortable speed, you hadn't really suffered a lot. It was mainly the shock."-Nurse

Then the doctor enters the room. He is an old man with white hair. Someone you would expect to have a lot of experience.

"Young master, open your mouth wide."-Doctor says and Jace complies.

After some poking and looking with Jace coughing everytime the doctor pokes a bit too deep, the doctor says,"Everything seems okay here. Young master, do you feel like vomiting or something?"

"Yes, now."-Jays says and turns his head over the bed to vomit. After getting everything out, he turns to face the doctor and before he could think of saying anything else, his stomach started roaring like there were dinosaurs in it.

"What is this!? I am going to die! Save me!"-Jace screams in his head. As the heir of the lightheart family, he never had to go hungry for even a few hours. Even though he had his memories from the previous life, he still didn't really have any experience with this.

"Nurse, what are you doing!? Get something to eat for Young master! Now!"-Doctor says and nurse runs aways.

3 months pass

In these 3 months, Jace had been studying for the exam with Ron and Emi and training his mana rotation. Now he could effectively keep on rotating hs mana without Emi's help. Today was the day of the exam. Early morning, he had gotten into his family's carriage and was now going to the exam centre.

The exam center was the big dome used to organise various events in the cultural region of the capital. The capital was designed very carefully from start with the city divided into different sectors which are the industrial sector, market sector, residential area, cultural region and the innermost region for the aristrocacy with the monarch castle located there.

The carriage was parked in the parking area and jace went to one of the registration desks and waited in line to register for the exam. In the Quennor Empire, there are no rights given to the family of aristocracy. Everything is gained by ability and no one goes against it as it is a big part of the ideological education. In the Quennor Empire, if you have the ability then you can even become the monarch, no matter if you are a noble or a commoner. This law was passed by the first monarch, the prognitor of the Lionmane family. He had also made sure that his family would always be the best so that no one can replace them. Jace's family, the Lightheart family was their right hand family and had been the family of prime ministers since then. In every generation, there is a change in the status of the aristocracy. some family are demoted, others are promoted, some commoners gain the title of nobility, some nobles become commoners. But it was only the lionmane family and Lightheart family that have secured their position for ten generations. Everyone is thinking now,"When will they change?"

After registering, Jace then went inside the hall and sat on a seat. Their were some people who were there to make sure that no one cheated. They were the senior students of the academy with one teacher.

After everyone was seated, the question papers and answer sheets were distributed and the rules were explained.The rules were simple like no one was to cheat in the exam, the time for exam is at maximum, 2 hours long and no one was allowed to go out before completing the exam. At 10 AM sharp, the teacher of the academy said,"Exam starts now!"
