Places
Everleaf Forest: A forest located at the heart of the Tribal Lands. It houses many species of beasts and demi-humans. However, the human population is minimal.
Traveler Review:
> “Scary~! I don’t want to come here ever again. Too dangerous for unarmed travelers...” – A human traveler.
Tribal Lands: The region surrounding Everleaf Forest. It houses many human tribes. However, due to lack of resources, powerful beings prefer Everleaf Forest over this ‘wasteland’.
Reviews:
NO ONE HAS REVIEWED YET. BE THE FIRST!
Edahi: The domain of the Divine Emperor. It is the largest empire in the Everleaf Forest.
Expert Review:
> “What’s with these demi-humans? These half-human rip-offs attempted to kill me! Aboriginal Barbarians!! 0/10! Never Visiting again!
>
> Ps. Can someone tell me what an 'Honored Guest' is?” – A human traveler.
Neya: The domain of the Demonic Overlord. It lacks fixed boundaries, and very little is known of this region.
Expert(?) Review:
> “Marshy Swamplands fill this region. It’s hard to find a clean place to sleep. I would rate a 2/10 but… Lust... AH! I’ll give it a solid 69/10! Will visit again!” – A human traveler.
Evergreen City: The capital city of Edahi. It is reputed as the Holy Land to the residents of the forest. It houses the Mother Tree.
Expert Review:
“Pros: The Aesthetics. Mainly built of reinforced wood with minimal stone. A beautiful holiday spot.
Cons: Irritating demi-humans. Terrible reception for humans. High chance of death.
Seriously, who is this Honored Guest, and why are you trying to kill me? 1/10. I'd pick Neya over this misery any day.” – A human traveler.
Demonic Miasma: The home of demons and demonic beasts. Covered in fog throughout the year, it is the greatest contributor to the death toll in the Everleaf Forest. Ill-equipped travelers better avoid this place.
Expert Review:
> “Pew! Pew! Who in the right mind would stay in this hell?! Get me out of here! Where’s my lawyer?! I demand a refund and compensation for losses! -100000/10.” – An angry human traveler.
Learner’s Fall: Filled with rivers, mountains, and hill, it is a paradise for training.
Detailed Review:
> “Imagine a forest. Are you thinking of beautiful trees? Or do you remember creepy bugs? Well, think of a beautiful forest without those irritating bugs. Located within a forest, Learner's Fall is paradise. A breathtaking river system, with plenty of waterfalls, you will not regret a visit.
>
> Even bug enthusiasts are welcome. It's just that most of these bugs are hidden from plain sight. And beware of strong currents and the waterfalls. Otherwise, it is a great vacation spot to spend with your family. 9/10. Will bring my children next time.” – A human traveler.
Warrior’s Street: The Weapons Capital of demi-humans. Busy throughout the year. Even beasts occasionally visit this place for armor.
Sponsored Review:
> “Do you desire sharp and sturdy weapons? Tired of brittle armor? Struggling to repair your swords after each battle?
>
> Introducing Yield to Wield... The largest shop in the street! Yield magic crystals to wield the perfect weapons. Become the hero of your dreams. Slay monsters and demons with a single cut! Don’t forget! Yield to Wield! And no, we do not accept humans! Bloody Honored Guest!” – A not-so-humble smith owner.

Other Important Terms
Honored Guest: A title reserved for non-beasts that have contributed immensely to the benefit of Edahi. A dream title for aspiring demi-humans.
Interactions: These are the processes through which a living being(Practitioner) can use energy. Examples include Physical Arts, Magic Crafting, etc.
Practitioner: A living being that is capable of interacting with at least one form of energy.
----------------------------------------
Note: The following section is incomplete as the novel hasn't touched on some of these topics yet.
Note: The various forms of energy will be explained from the perspective of the academicians/scientists at The Edahin University of Magic Crafting(for demihumans). Other than these, I will only include excerpts from the novel.
Energy Interactions
The Law of Energy Interaction:
> Energy in its Free State tends to interact or crystallize, provided it isn’t in equilibrium with its Crystal State.
"This law allows Practitioners to interact with energy. These interactions can come in various forms, and it is impossible to compile all of them." - A scientist
General Format:
Interaction Name(Energy it needs)
> Quote from scientist/practitioner.
Physical Arts(Physical Energy/Tai):
> “As long as one uses Tai, they will fall under this branch. Practitioners are sometimes called Cultivators or just Fighters in general. Perfect for brainless fighters.” – A biased scientist.
>
> "...the branch of Physical Arts involves the absorption and conversion of Natural Energy [Qi] into Physical Energy [Tai]." - Kaero(Chapter 17).
Forbidden Skills(Void Energy/Kyo):
> “Yields extraordinary strength, but the Practitioner has to suffer through terrifying backlashes. Academicians dispute over its existence, classification, abilities, and limits. The two popular theories place it under either Bloodline Skills or Elemental Magic. Its abilities are generally ancillary in nature.” - A scientist.
Magic Arts(Magical Energy/Mana):
> “Practitioners are called Casters or Mages in general. I can’t elaborate further? Spoilers? Okay…” – A confused scientist.
>
> "...the branch of Magic Arts involves the channeling of mana [Magical Energy]..." - Kaero(Chapter 17)
Magic Crafting(Magical Energy/Mana):
> “Practitioners are called Crafters. Inarguably, the most important branch of magi- Let me speak! It’s not spoil-” – A disgruntled scientist.
Elemental Magic(Magical Energy/Mana):
> “The scientist is experiencing technical difficulties. The novel hasn’t reached this section yet.” – Rasuke.
Bloodline Skills(unknown):
> “As the name insinuates, it depends on the bloodline. Decided from birth. Its abilities are generally ancillary in nature.” - A mind-controlled scientist.
Honing(unknown):
> “Ren, why did you skip the book? Now, we’ll never know what this is! Or will we?” – Rasuke.
Energy Compendium
Natural Energy or Qi:
> "The most common form of energy available in Everleaf Forest. Although it is of minimal use(basically useless) in this form, Practitioners can convert it into more useful forms of energy." - A scientist.
Physical Energy or Tai:
> "Used for Physical Arts. Although it is unavailable in the natural environment, Practitioners can convert Qi to Tai. Minimal entry requirements and abundance of Qi makes this path easily accessible, even to the untalented." - A scientist.
Void Energy or Kyo:
> "Used for Forbidden Arts. Academicians dispute its existence, as it is impossible to study and place it under scientific experiments. Lack of cooperation from Kyo Practitioners only worsens this situation." - A scientist.
>
> “To interact with Void Energy, a Kyo Practitioner has to meet one out of three criteria. Otherwise, an interaction is impossible, irrespective of whatever they do. This has held true for eons.” - Kaero(Chapter 17)
Magical Energy or Mana:
> "Used for Magic Arts, Elemental Magic, and Magic Crafting." - A scientist.
