Prologue

In a dimension hidden from the world’s sight, an ancient castle loomed, its presence dominating the strange, mystical realm that surrounded it.

The architecture, though aged, remained pristine, with spires that clawed at the sky, as if trying to breach some unseen barrier. The walls, covered in intricate carvings and runes, whispered of long-forgotten power and a magic as old as time itself.

The surrounding landscape was equally enigmatic, a swirling vortex of colors and shapes that seemed to defy the laws of physics.

Crimson clouds churned in the sky, tinged with streaks of violet and indigo.

The very air seemed charged with an otherworldly energy, leaving a faint hum in the ears of anyone who dared walk these lands, and making the hairs on the back of their necks stand on end.

Inside the castle’s labyrinthine halls, a lone figure walked slowly through the dimly lit halls.

His face was pale, his body weary. He was a man who appeared neither young nor old, his features ageless yet his eyes held the heavy burden of time.

His black cloak, tattered and worn, trailed behind him, barely brushing the smooth, cold stone of the floor. Each step he took was a struggle, his body betraying his failing strength, but his resolve remained unwavering.

His path led him to a throne at the heart of the castle. Carved from dark stone and covered in ancient symbols, the throne seemed to hum with energy.

When he reached it, the man collapsed onto the seat, his body sagging as if finally giving in to the strain. For a moment, he simply breathed, the tension in his body easing as the energy from the throne seeped into him.

His face twisted, emotions flashing across it in rapid succession—desperation, rage, cold calculation, and finally, grim resolve.

“Everything,” he whispered, the sound barely audible in the vast, empty chamber. “Everything has crumbled to dust.” His voice cracked with exhaustion, the weight of his failure pressing down on him. He seemed to speak to someone unseen.

"This is my last resort." The words were a surrender and a declaration all at once. “I hope this would help you”

The man extended his trembling hands, and from his chest emerged a brilliant golden light, radiant and pure.

His eyes focused intently as he summoned another light, this one a dim, pale white, from an unknown source.

The two lights hovered above his hands, each representing something beyond a human can control.

The golden light seemed to pulsate with life, eager to fulfill its purpose, while the dim white light resisted, struggling against the golden radiance. The man gritted his teeth, he poured his will into merging the two lights, forcing them to unite despite their resistance.

At first, the dim white light fought back, its flickering resistance pushing back against the golden radiance. But slowly, the golden light began to envelop the dim white, their energies intertwining.

Finally, the lights fused into one, a harmonious blend of gold and white, glowing with an ethereal brilliance.

The man’s eyes reflected the light, filled with a mixture of relief and hope. With a final, powerful effort, he released the combined light, sending it soaring into the air.

The light shot towards an unseen destination, but as it traveled, it encountered an invisible barrier.

For a moment, it seemed the barrier might hold, but then, with a sound like tearing fabric, the light broke through, tearing a hole in the very fabric of the dimension.

The light vanished into the tear, leaving the man slumped against the throne, utterly drained. His eyes, half-closed, glimmered with exhaustion and the faintest flicker of determination.

“I hope fate won’t betray me,” he whispered, his voice barely more than a breath. “And that you will find your way.”

The tear sealed, and silence returned to the hall. He had done all he could. Now, it was out of his hands.

Somewhere beyond this hidden dimension, a chain of events had been set into motion, one that would ripple far beyond his reach.

The figure sagged deeper into the throne, his energy spent, the weight of his actions settling around him like the shadows that now reigned supreme in the castle.

Darkness, complete and unbroken, swallowed the grand halls once more.
