I wake up feeling at a loss, when I wake up I only see darkness, I am surround by something, I try to break free from this invisible prison after many attempts I finally break free and what I see atop of me, looking down on me is…...A DRAGON!!!

What’s going on why is there a dragon and instead of feeling terrified I feel a sense of security like nothing could possibly harm me as long as she is here. I AM REALLY CONFUSED!!!

I think I’ve calmed down a little bit mostly because of the peaceful feeling the dragon is emitting. I decided to take a look at my surrounding and I notice a broken egg where I was a moment ago. *sigh* I think it’s fairly obvious at this point but I’m a dragon, a baby to be exact and that’s not all there are a couple dozen eggs here meaning that these are my siblings.

I also take a look at my surroundings and well the scene is breathtaking. I see a luscious forest extending for miles on end, the sky overrun by dragons, their scales glistening under the cloudless sky and I’m elevated with feelings of pride and awe.

I also noticed that I am currently resting on a nest made out of .... Gold. A nest of treasure filled with jewelry, gold coins, diamond incrusted swords, golden goblets, basically a mountain of treasure, it’s cold to the touch but it’s so comfortable even though it’s metal.

“Hello young one.” An ancient hypnotic voice, a voice filled with wisdom, a voice that resonates power, a voice that draws me in, called out to me.

“Myuuh” a soft cry leaks out. At this moment everything but this moment seemed irrelevant, all the fantasy like elements seemed simply vanished from my mind.

She continues where she left off “From henceforth your name shall be Galieth. Wear your name with pride my child.”.

“Myuhh!” With a voice filled with determination I declare my resolution to wear my name with pride. Although I may not be from this world I’ve decided from this day forth I shall live on as the dragon known as Galieth.

Although I say that I still have no have idea what is going on, so for now let’s investigate. Let’s see I was kind of bewildered by the whole situation so I didn’t really focus on my surroundings.

I look around once again and to recap my observations, I’m on top of a pile of gold surrounded by eggs and the dragon, there’s no ceiling since I can clearly see the sky and the sun above where the dragons are flying and I’m on a high enough altitude to see a never ending forest from above.

Oh well that’s enough for today I’m going to sleep, I’m really tired for some reason.

The next day I was surprised for the first thing I notice are a bunch of little dragons just moving around the place, it was interesting to see that all of them had golden scales, including myself.

When suddenly the dragon from yesterday came flying down, the dragon seemed very gracious in its movement’s and with the help of her cyan colored scales she looked even more amazing, even the little dragons around me are looking in awe, then she spoke.

“Now then little ones before we start let me introduce myself I am Aleah Vertium Godaly Jerio or you can call me Aleah for short, well once you are all able to speak that is but I digress. Let’s get along now shall we”.

‘Yes of course, Aleah.’ I spoke in my mind but unfortunately I still don't know how to speak or perhaps should I say growl.

””” Myuuhh””” we all cried out as we slowly bow our heads as for why we did that it just felt natural to do so in front of this person or perhaps should I say dragon instead.

“What polite little ones, such manners will serve you well in the future but again I digress back to the matter at hand. You are all descendants of the ancient creatures known formally all over the world as dragons we are creatures with boundless potential in terms of strength and wisdom but this can lead some to become arrogant believing that the world is theirs for the taking, causing others to suffer, beware children for such people will only fall in their untimely demise. So little ones always remember use your power only in times of need such as eating or protecting those you consider precious if you do not have need of you power then please remain humble, otherwise you will simply bring shame upon yourself.”

“Myuuh?”

Seems like most of the little ones are confused however I took her every word (or should I say growls) into considerations and thoughts of two main things:

1. That was some pretty solid advice, I’ll take note of it in the future.

2. It feels like by the tone of emergency in her voice albeit very faint I could that ‘they’ had some major problems dealing with dragons who were too full of themselves seems like something I’m going to have to deal with in the future.

“Now that we got that of the way it’s time to eat and while we’re at it I’ll give you little ones a tour of our home that we call”

Now that she says so I am quite hungry and a little excited to leave this nest of gold.
