My name is Serena, now known as Serena lhorull. I was an orphan on the street with 8 others living with me.
I am going to talk to you about the life I have had before and about how I developed feelings towards *blush… Wortio-Sama
On a very normal day, in the village I was born in. as My eleven year old self was talking to my mother, a very pretty woman with blonde hair and brown eyes, a bunch of ugly and disgusting bandits sneaked into the village.
"Mummy? Does having two spirits mean I'm special? Why?" I remember asking those foolish questions with an obvious answer out loud to my mummy and the pale look on her face straight after I asked.
"Serena, never ask those questions out loud again okay? As they might attract attention of slave traders and evil men… Yes Serena, it means you are special and your father would be proud of you if he knew." My mother first warned me gently and then warmly smiled at me.
"Ok, mummy I won't tell anyone that I have dual spirits!" I grinned as I loudly shouted to her inside the house.
… It was all meant to be a joke, a joke that was meant to make people happy, but instead it brought misery upon all of the village.
Yes, the bandits that sneaked into the village heard and they charged into the house just in time to kill my mother who was about to warn me again with a stern tone this time with the hacking of a rusty old sword.
"M-mother~?" I weakly shook my knees and trembled while falling down in front of her pathetically, probably extremely shocked at the sudden plot twist of my story.
The bandits walked towards me, they had a look of lust in their eyes… Towards me, an eleven year old, one even spat at my mothers cold corpse lying on the ground:
"Dammit, This woman doesn't look bad, should have done it before we killed her"
I peeked outside the door for a second after he said that and was once again shocked at the state outside the door.
The village was on fire, women and children were running around as I stared at the familiar faces of those I got along well with.
Martha, a nice fat lady who gave out bread to the children. Danny, Martha's husband and the chef of the village.
Nicole, the little girl that I got along well with and made flower crowns together while dancing in the flowers with. I remember all of the little girls that I played with when My gentle smile could still reach.
Anthony, the little boy with black hair and has good talent, he was a nice little boy that liked to talk about little animals and large animals. Loved by everyone in the village as well as me for our kind and gentle personalities…
Milo, lee, Freya, Michael, lucy, Ella, Elly, Michelle, Luke, Tess, Bethany, Alannah… All of them were leaving me, running around the village, screaming and burning to death.
Out of pure anger and despair at the scene I summoned out my first spirit, the long horned bull as I summoned my second one out, the water mark dagger while sitting on the first spirit's back.
"It really is a dual spirit holder! Big haul guys big haul!" A bandit waved to the other bandits while getting together with the twenty other bandits thinking that dual spirit was just as easy as one plus one and they'll overwhelm me with their numbers.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
As I forced my energy onto my wrist the water marking daggers shone brightly as I slashed the dagger out.
The long horned bull ran forward as The water blade that was just emitted from the dagger turned into a million tiny long horned Bulls while they stamped onto the half cultivator half normal bandits and shredded them to pieces.
I ran out of the house after disposing of the bandits with almost all of my energy to look for survivors, "Ah!" I shouted out as I looked at a small body on the ground that I thought just moved.
"Anthony!" I shouted as I went to the body to check if he was alive, thankfully as the only two cultivators in the village he survived. The others all… Died.
It took me quite a while to accept that reality as I went to the nearest city to gain protection, Anthony went to his dad's hometown after he healed up and decided to go separate ways with me.
The walk there to the city was quite harsh, and when I got to the orphanage, my face covered in dirt didn't seem appealing to the owner as he sent me of to the slum with a kick to the face.
At the slums I met 8 other children, Pan, Natalie, Calvin, Aydon, Bianca, Lin, Lan and Len. They all had dual spirits and a sad to weird past.
It made me feel at home as the lost of my village seemed to have really gotten to me, I needed warmth. We all trained together and struggled to live each day, not noticing how quickly we could've ended that if we just gave our face a quick wipe.
Some years later, a little baby came to the slums, his hands were so delicate and his eyes were so large and cute as he walked in his robes through the slums.
"This way seems to be a shortcut" he muttered to himself as we were shocked at the fact that a one year old looking baby could speak.
"Hmm~?" The infant hmm's as he looks this way. "Well this is pretty good talent he mutters to himself as he walks towards here.
"Hello~, I am Wortio, every person has a chance. The thing is that whether they grab it or not. Yours is right in front of you, would you guys follow me or stay here?"
That, was my first meeting with Wortio-Sama…
"So, why are you telling me this story?" Lin, Lan and Len stared at me while asking the most ridiculous question ever.
"Do we need a reason to talk about Wortio-Sama?" I shot them the answer as they replied in unison "I see~."
I know the story is short but I was rushed okay? I had this relative come over and was forced to go out with him for the whole day, I wrote this just now. There might be a rewrite about this story including her training with the sect and how she was brought up by wortio with more detail so don't be worried!... I am so sorry!

I really tried my best with the twenty minutes I was given! *cry
