Dorian and his group ran out of the entrance gasping for breath. They were near the edge of the city, Dorian looked around trying to orientate himself. He vaguely remembered this area, the gate to the east entrance of the city was close by.
“Cern, can you and the twins get supplies and meet us outside the city? I doubt we could buy anything without garnering a lot of attention.”
Cern nodded “Will do. Snax, Axe lets go.”
“Will do Cap'n” Snax said
“Leave it to us!” Axe added.
The three of them ran of to the nearest market street, Cern already counting the amount of people and telling the twins the list of things they would need. Arguing they left, Dorian led the rest of the group outside the city. Carefully trying to avoid larger patrols. He didn't know how far the reach was of The Table. Thol had bought them some time, they needed to make sure they used it as best they could.
Leaving the city surprisingly went without a hitch, however strange it was. They were carrying two unconscious women after all. Letting the girls distract the guards had been a good plan, even though Tolu had been fuming. She detested having to flirt with these guards. They were not her fitting to her elegant tastes. Or so she claimed.
Dorian set up camp a few hours walk away from the city, they would have to keep an eye on the city gates to make sure they didn't miss Cern and the twins. Dorian sent Urf and Tolu to watch the gate. He had wanted to send Mori as well but she was the medical expert of the troops. Dorian had not known this, his memories were still a jumble in his head. Not being sure who was who, more to the point seeing someone and remembering them as someone else was extremely exhausting.
They had gently placed Lalin and Firial on a sloped hill, Mori was treating Lalin's injuries. Firial however was a problem, as far as they could see there were no injuries on her body. The cut on her hand and the bruise on her ribs was all that he could see. The only thing that made sense was that it was an after-effect of the magic she had used.

Becoming that strong could not be without side-effects. Dorian worried for her, he felt at partly at fault for Farials death. If he and his brother had not been in this city the two could have lived their lives peacefully. Lalins condition, had been slowly improving. Mori said she would just need some rest and would wake up eventually.
Dorian sat down on the hill gazing at the city. He started filtering the things he knew from the things he thought he knew. Once in a while he would ask one of his troops a question, about his parents, or their tribe. Slowly but certainly he started to form a better picture in his mind of what was real and what was not.
Then he started to ponder about what to do next. As he saw it he had a few options, going back to the Vorn was the most logical choice. He would be able to get answers there and perhaps his memories could be restored. The problem persisted however that he did not have enough information. Staying close to the city however hoping on word from Gladiel was risky.
The more he thought about it the more risky other options became, going back to the Vorn was what the enemy would most likely expect him to do. Making it the most risky of options, a plan started to formulate in his mind. At first it seemed crazy, the more h thought about it however the better the plan started to look. Plus it felt as sticking one to The Table, even if that shouldn't be his main goal it would feel good.
