It was late. I was sitting in my room wondering if I would ever get done with my homework when my mom came into my room. "Hey, why aren't you sleeping?" she asked. "Homework" I answered. "Okay 15 minutes then you have to go to bed" she said. I knew I didn't have anything to say so I just nodded and went back to doing my homework. The 15 minutes passed really fast. I just got done with my work. "Go to bed now" my mom came into my room and said goodnight. "Goodnight Mom, sleep well," I said. I hugged her and changed into my pajamas.

~Next Morning~

I woke up at 06:30 A.M because my alarm was set half an hour before I was supposed to get up. 'URGH'. I got up and went out to my bathroom to get ready for school. 'Bib bib bib' I looked at my phone to see who texted me. It was my boy best friend Noah. 'Hey wyd?, he said. 'Getting ready for school dumbass 🤣  you?, I answered. 'Me to, cya in school' he texted. 'Cya, I texted back. I put my phone on the table. I finished getting ready and went down to eat breakfast. "Good morning Mom" I said to her when I came into the kitchen. "Good morning," she said. I ate my breakfast and went to school. I took my motorcycle to school. When I parked it, my classmate Julie walked over to me "Heyy Girl, you gotta see this, it's crazy, like omfg" she screamed. "What's up?" "I'll send you the video," she said laughing. ‘Bib’ I watched the video. It's a viral video of our principal trying to learn a TIK TOK dance. "Isn't it hilarious?" she asked. "It's a little mean that someone recorded him, but yea it is really fun" I said. While we were talking I didn't see that someone was sneaking up behind me. "Heyy guess who," the person said. "Alex?" I heard a not happy sigh. "I’m just kidding Noah, I know it's you". I turned around and hugged him. "So you knew it was me" he sounded relieved. "Of course how can I not recognize your annoying voice?" I laughed. He looked so offended, but started laughing as well. 'Diiiiing Diiiing’. It was the alarm. That meant we had to get to class. 

When the whole class was seated the lecture started. "So the lecture today is about movie making, so I will sort you into groups of four people. You then have to make your own short-movie about a theme you decide when you're out in the groups. These are the themes you can choose: Horror, Comedy, Romance or something completely different. Here are the groups" The teacher said. The groups: group 1 - Alex, Sally, Mckenzie and Storm. Group 2 - Alma, Ellie, Max and William. There was a lot more but here was my group: Me, Noah, Julie and Axel. We discussed what theme we wanted for our movie. We ended up picking a horror comedy. "So where are we gonna record the movie?'' Julie asked. 

“We can do it at my house,” Noah said. We all agreed to do it at Noah's house. "I'll make a snapchat group with all of us in it so we can plan the movie” Julie said. After school Noah offered to walk me home. ‘Before you say anything, no, Noah and I weren’t in a relationship, we were just friends. Even though we were really close. But who knows what will happen in the future. We talked the whole way to my house. When we got to my house we said goodbye. “Hey mom, how was work today?” I asked my mom when I saw her in the kitchen. “Fine, I'm really tired. We had two customers who were screaming at each other in the store today. So I had to step in with one of my co-workers and try to pull them apart" she said. “Wow, that sounds stressful,” I answered. I gave her a hug and ran up to my room. I got a text. I opened it and it was from Noah.

Noah: Hey I got great news

Me: WHAT'S UP

Noah: I got a girlfriend, and she wants to meet you

Me: I would love to, when

Noah: She is at my house right now you can come over if you want

Me: Cool, I'm on my way

I didn't know how to feel about it. Was I jealous. No I couldn’t be. I just didn't want her to ruin me and Noah's friendship. I got up and hurried down to put my shoes and jacket on. I said goodbye to my mom and walked to Noah's house. When I knocked on his front door I heard his dog barking on the other side of the door. “Hey come on in,” Noah said. I walked inside and took my shoes and jacket off. “Hi miss Williams” I said when I saw Noah's mom in the living room. “Welcome back to your other home” Miss Williams smiled at me. I knew Noah's mom very well and she was friends with my mom, and I was always at their house, like was Noahs at mine. “She’s in my room waiting for us,” Noah said. It took me a minute to find out that he was referring to his girlfriend. When we got to his room he opened the door and walked in and I followed. Inside the room his girlfriend was sitting on the bed. She smiled at me and I smiled back. “Hey babe,” she said to Noah. “Hey Maddie, this is my girl best friend, the one you wanted to meet,” he said. “Heyyy girl, nice to meet you, I’m Maddie,” Maddie said. “Hi Maddie,” I said. “you’re not gonna tell me your name?” she asked. “Oh sorry, I thought that Noah told you,” I said. “Oh he hasn't he always refers to you as my best friend or my girl” she said. “Oh he does?” I looked over at Noah, who looked kinda embarrassed. “But my name is Evelyn” I answered. “So what do I do now, should I just leave or..” I asked. I didn’t really wanna stay, because it was kinda awkward for me to be there. “No stay,” Maddie said. “We could go for a walk with the dogs,” Noah said. "Sure," I said. “Can we walk past my house, so I can get Allie?” I asked. “Of course,” they said. We got up and walked out to put our shoes and jackets on. It was snowing and everything was covered in snow. It was so pretty. Noah put his dog Ranger in his leech and we walked towards my house. When we got there I hurried inside to get my dog Allie. When I got out to the others we walked towards the forest. When we finally got there, we let the dogs free, so they could run around. “So where did you meet each other?” I asked, because I hadn’t seen her at school. “We-” “We met at an event” Maddie said. “You do know it's kinda rude to cut someone off right?” I said to her. “Oh yeah sorry babe” she said to Noah. We walk back home and I said goodbye to them. Later that evening I got a text from Noah. 

Noah: Hey Eevee I can't figure out if me and Maddie's relationship is working. 

Me: Why. What's not working?

Noah: I don't know, she is just really bossy. 

Me: Oh. Im so sorry abt that 

Noah: Yea I wonder if I should break up with her. What do you think?

Me: I shouldn’t be telling you what to do. Think about it and tell me what you decide.

Noah: I'll tell you what I figure out then. 

Me: Yeah good luck. Cya

Noah: Ty Cya. 

I said goodnight to my parents and went to bed. When I woke up the next day. My mom said Noah had called me. I hurried to call him. “Hey Noah what's up? '' I said when he picked up the phone. “Hi Eve, I just wanted you to know that me and Maddie broke it off last night,” he said. “Dang, I'm sorry," I said. 'It's fine I broke up with her so… it didn’t hurt that bad'.' I heard him laughing on the other end of the phone. “I have to go now, so I will see you at school on monday " I said and hung up.
