Team 2, the Abyssal Hunters, are the Sanctuary's elite enforcers, renowned for their brutal efficiency, mastery of destructive energy, and unparalleled connection to the void. Their calling is high-profile hunts of the void’s most dangerous entities, missions that require sheer strength, relentless speed, and devastating power. They are feared throughout cursed zones, known for their direct, aggressive approach. Unlike other teams that tread carefully around void energy, the Abyssal Hunters wield it as a weapon, bending it to their will without fully succumbing to its corruption.
At the helm is Dante, a hunter so powerful he’s earned the moniker "Grim Reaper." Known for his unmatched combat prowess and his dark scythe, Dante’s skills make him a legend among the Sanctuary ranks. Alongside him is Lucina, an equally formidable Doll with precision void manipulation, and their Nokorii, Vexis, a crimson-eyed spirit cat with lethal tracking abilities, ensuring no target escapes.

The Mission: Hunting the Shade King
The Abyssal Hunters had been dispatched to a cursed forest, where void energy was dense and unyielding. Their mission was simple: hunt down and eliminate the Shade King, a powerful void entity that had tainted the region, spreading corruption to all it touched.
Perched on a twisted rock, Lucina surveyed the landscape cloaked in darkness. Vexis lounged beside her, its crimson gaze constantly watching the shadows. They had tracked their target, but Dante had insisted on handling the Shade King alone.
With a faint smile, Lucina glanced at Vexis. “You think Dante’s going to need help?” she asked, though she already knew the answer.
The Nokorii let out a low, almost amused growl, its body coiled like a spring, ready to strike if called.
Just then, a flash of movement in the distance caught Lucina’s eye. Through the dense shadows and void energy swirling in the air, she saw Dante, standing at the heart of the battlefield. In one hand, he held the limp form of the Shade King by its neck; in the other, his scythe dripped with the dark ichor of his latest kill.
Dante’s eyes glinted with lethal intent as he fixed his gaze on a figure beyond his captive—a tall, faceless silhouette lurking in the shadows. With a single movement, Dante tossed the lifeless Shade King to the ground like a broken doll.
The shadowy figure stepped forward, emerging from the gloom: Slenderman, his featureless face turned toward Dante, one arm torn away, dripping with blackened blood. His remaining arm hung at his side, yet his presence emanated a malevolent force that was unmistakable.
Slenderman tilted his head slightly, as if amused. “You’re as powerful as they say… Grim Reaper,” he said, his voice a harsh, whispering echo that slithered through the air. “But it matters little. In the end, the void claims all.”
Dante’s smirk didn’t waver, his grip tightening on his scythe. “You’re just another void general,” he said with cold disdain. “I’ve cut down plenty like you—and I’ll keep cutting.”
A faint, eerie smile crossed Slenderman’s faceless mask. “You may have defeated the Shade King,” he replied, his voice crawling with menace. “But the void cannot be stopped. We will rise, and next time, you will fall.”

The Battle Unleashed
Before the tension broke, a sudden pulse of light emanated from Dante’s communicator. He glanced at the message, his expression briefly shifting as he read: Team 1 has defeated Siren Head.
Slenderman’s form flickered violently, a tremor of disbelief running through him. “Impossible…” he muttered, his voice barely audible, laced with shock.
Lucina approached, her steps light and confident. “Looks like you’re not the only void threat being dealt with,” she called to Slenderman, a mocking smile on her lips. “Still think you can handle both of us?”
Slenderman’s form began to tremble, flickering as he struggled to keep his shape. With a sweep of his remaining arm, he snarled, “This isn’t over!” Shadows writhed around him as a hundred lesser wraiths materialized from the darkness, surrounding Dante.
Dante raised his scythe, unperturbed. “You summon shadows to fight me?” he sneered, lifting his weapon high. “Let me show you how it’s done.”
In an instant, Dante’s form erupted with a blinding aura. His figure blurred, moving faster than the eye could follow, as his scythe sliced through the wraiths in a flurry of lethal grace.
“Grim Reaper’s Embrace!” he roared, his voice echoing through the twisted forest. With one fluid motion, his scythe swept through the surrounding wraiths, and they shattered into nothingness, dissolving into mist as if they had never existed.
Lucina moved to his side, arms crossed, watching the last of the wraiths vanish. “Always a show-off,” she muttered with a hint of amusement. “But we let Slenderman slip away. He’s… more dangerous than I’d thought.”
Dante shrugged, cleaning the blood from his scythe with casual indifference. “He’s not our priority. We took down the Shade King. That’s the mission.”
Lucina glanced at the dissipating mist, her gaze narrowing. “Let’s hope the Sanctuary’s prepared for what’s coming next.”

A Message from the Sanctuary
Vexis trotted over, its red eyes gleaming in the dim light as it returned from scouting the area. Just then, a second message crackled through Dante’s communicator: “Team 1 has successfully eliminated Siren Head. Repeat—Siren Head is down.”
Lucina’s eyes widened slightly. The weight of that name was heavy; Siren Head, a terror they had all heard tales of, was no more.
“Cain, Alice, and Felvion,” the message continued. “They did it. Team 1 completed the kill.”
Lucina let out a sharp breath, a flicker of disbelief mingled with respect in her eyes. “So, Team 1 actually pulled it off?”
Dante chuckled softly, his gaze distant. “Of course, it was Cain and Alice. If anyone could take that thing down, it was them.”
Lucina nodded, her usual smirk softened with admiration. “I’d say we have some legends among us.”
Dante’s gaze was steady, his respect clear. “They did what was needed. It’s a major victory for the Sanctuary, but it’s just the beginning. The void’s going to retaliate.”
The voice from the Sanctuary spoke up again. “Return to base. The victory over Siren Head is significant, but we have more threats to handle.”
Pocketing the communicator, Dante turned to Lucina, his expression unreadable. “The void isn’t finished with us yet. If Cain and Alice can bring down something like Siren Head, we’d better be prepared for what’s next.”
Lucina nodded, her gaze steely. “Then let’s get back. The Abyssal Hunters aren’t done. Not by a long shot.”
With one last look at the eerie, silent forest, Dante and Lucina turned to leave, Vexis padding silently at their side. The void was relentless, but so were they. As they began to make their way back, Dante glanced over at Lucina, a glint of mischief in his eyes.
"Do you think Cain and Alice are the only legends here?” he asked, his voice dripping with confidence. “Lucina, did you forget who I am?"
Lucina placed a hand on her forehead, sighing with the faintest smile played at her lips. "Of course… The Grim Reaper."
Dante’s chuckle was low and satisfied as they disappeared into the darkness, leaving the forest behind. The void would always rise, but so would they and the next battle was just another chance for Dante to remind everyone exactly who he was.
