Chapter 2: A Better Life Part 5

“Fu Qing! You even think of laying a hand on my daughter, and I will beat you myself!” My mother’s voice rang out through the air. I quickly hurried through the back door to see my mother standing at the front with a piece of firewood in her hand.

“Mother!” I ran over and pulled her back. Her expression was filled with anger and an intent to kill. “Mother, it will be okay. I promise.”

“Ruo’er…” My mother turned and gave me a worried look. There was no way Fu Qing, the leader of the older kids in the village, could harm me. He was at most at the rank five body fortification. From what I know, his father isn’t even in the qi gathering realm, yet is is like me at the peak of the body fortification realm.

“Demon girl, you finally appeared. Come out and be beaten to death!” Fu Qing yelled out. His haughty attitude made it seem as if he was some kind of rich young master when he was not much better off than my mother and I.

“We will see who beats who. If I was you, I would ask your father to come.” I said with a snort as I walked out of the house.

“Ruo’er!” My mother cried out as she watched me step outside. I turned and gave her a smile while mouthing: “I will be fine.” I motioned with my hand for her to stay before turning my attention to Fu Qing.

Fu Qing was a stockily built boy for someone who did not eat much. I can only guess he was born with bigger bones than most. He was not bad-looking I guess, but the way he acted all high and mighty would be a major turn-off, at least to me it was. I can’t say much for the other young girls who were following behind him. I can only guess that there is something wrong with their heads. And more so for the idiot in front of me.

“Fu Qing, you are fifteen years old this year. Two years ago, when you were thirteen, you beat me almost to death. I was three years old. That pain and anguish I felt that day I will return it to you today.” I walked towards the idiot slowly. I wanted to see his reaction to my words before I slapped him to death.

“Heh… The little demon is actually trying to act tough. Then come! Let’s see how you will beat me-ooph!” A small hand print formed on the right side of his face. His head moved to the left and continued going, his feet leaving the ground. His entire body fell face-first into the dirt. The jeering that had been going on from the group of kids, all of whom were laughing at me and telling me to die, all stopped. The only sounds at this time were the sounds of crickets and Little Nine.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

“Hahahahah! Did you see that? He flew! He really flew! It was not far, but he still flew! My master is the strongest! Hahahaha!” It seemed Little Nine was loving the current situation.

I ignored her and walked over to Fu Qing, who still seemed to be in a daze, and raised my foot high before bringing it down with great force. “Ahh!” Fu Quing cried out in pain. I had just stomped hard on his spine. “How does it feel? You came over acting all tough, but now you are being stomped on by a five-year-old. Did you think it was great beating on someone younger than you? Did you think you were the only one who would become stronger with time? You are so old, yet you haven’t even gotten past the rank five body fortification. You are already so old but you come here to pick on the young. What a big man you are! How about I make it so that you can never reach the qi gathering realm?”

“You! If you dare to do anything, else I will call my father!” Fu Qing cried out through gritted teeth. I could tell he was in great pain. I had been stomping on him with each word I spoke with great force. Just enough to cause serious pain but not enough to break his bones.

“Then call your father! I want to ask him how he can raise a son who does nothing but pick on the young! People ten years younger than him who had only been alive for three years! Since you want to be a big man, I will make it so you will be looked down upon for the rest of your life. A crippled dantian can only be fixed by a heavens reversal pill. And there is no one in this realm who can make it.” My eyes grew colder with every passing word before I finally kicked Fu Qing over, raised my foot, and stomped hard on his stomach. An audible cracking sound was heard, and a pig squeal echoed through the air. I had really crippled this bastard.

“Someone called Elder Fu!” A boy from the back of the crowd yelled out. I really wondered just what the idiot’s father would actually do now that I have crippled his son. Would he try to kill me? Should I beat these other kids up before they get any ideas? I turned my cold gaze to the others, which made them all shrink back. Seeing their scared expressions did not even make me want to look at them anymore. They were all talk and no action. Only when they had someone stronger around would they dare to speak up.

It is people like this that make me wonder why they even do evil deeds if they can not take the repercussions. I ignored them and looked down the road with my arms crossed in front of my chest as I tapped my foot. I knew any minute now Fu Qing’s father would be running over here.
