Kaiju, usually considered a Japanese term that is commonly associated with media involving giant monsters. But here, they are real, and they cause extreme havoc around the world.
After the 1995 Las Vegas Disaster, where a Dragon called Merak destroyed most of Las Vegas and some surrounding areas, progress was made to create Superhumans in Laboratories to assist in defeating these Kaiju.
After 5 years, they did it, ten humans created in Laboratories, with Magical Artifacts embedded inside of them. They were called "Guardians."
The names of all ten Guardians were Luka, Rohan, Amelia, Leo, Heather, Robert, Faith, Jake, Lana, and Valkyrie. (The order was F, M, F, M.)
And now, we cut back to now, 2044, Merak was spotted in New York City, Jake was sent to stop him.
"Alright, where is he at?" Jake said, floating in the sky, as he noticed Merak flying towards the Central Park Tower, as he blasted it with Plasma-Based Lasers from his hands, damaging and distracting Merak, who tried to eat Jake, but his mouth was blasted, his lower jaw breaking off.

"EXTREME SHINE!" Shouted Jake, as he blasted a 20 Meter tall and wide Plasma ball at Merak, the ball was a fifteenth of Merak's size, as it entered Merak's mouth and exploded, vaporizing Merak's head and neck, killing him instantly, but turning the Central Park Tower to rubble in the process.
"GET FUCKED!" Shouted Jake.
"Not as hard to do when you're not a teenager, eh?" Valkyrie said, coming down after watching the fight.
"Yeah, I'm still mad that he escaped me back then." Jake replied.
"You were 15, teens do stupid shit." Valkyrie responded with, as Jake rebuilt the Central Park Tower instantly with his eyes alone.
Jake smiled and ran all the way to the base back in London.
"2 Minutes 36 seconds, new PR." Said Jake, before entering the Guardian Base.
"So, any news on SOUL?" Jake asked Starlight, his daughter.
"Nope, still luckily asleep, it's easy to tell if he's awake considering he's the size of a fucking galaxy cluster, and visible from earth. we still have around 25 months until his estimated awakening." Starlight said, sipping coffee.
"Thank the stars-" Jake said.
"Also congrats on killing Merak, that purple dragon's been an asshole for way too long." Starlight replied. "At least you managed to kill him right after he just returned from that 15 year hiatus."
Starlight and Jake talked more for a while about some plans, before Jake went upstairs to work on final tweaks for Lana's newer Robotic Hand, which is going to be given to her tomorrow, and at 11 PM, he went to bed for the night.
