Running was all she could do with her only being nine years old and just now learning magic. Her waist length silver white hair that had everyone say that was the most beautiful, was now filthy and tangled into knots from going through the battlefield in trying to escape. Her clothes and the rest of her were muddy and had tears and scrapes.
While jumping over the body of an elf soldier, an arrow flew past her head while making a deep wound on her right cheek.
"Ahh!" She cries out in pain, stopping momentarily from her mad dash to safety. Her lusterious green cat-like eyes tearing up as another arrow shoots right in front of her where it would have actually killed her if she had kept running.
"Don't stop running! Change your path every few seconds to keep the archers guessing where you are going to be."
She hears inside her head the voice of her father as a telepathic message. Looking up briefly before doing what was asked of her, she see's two identical looking dragons fighting each other high in the sky.
They were thirty meters long from snout to tail-tip, with a fourty-five meter wingspan. If they were standing on the ground, their shoulder height would be twenty meters tall with a neck length of ten. Their wings look like they have metallic feathers that if you touch them, your hand will be shredded to a bloody pulp. They have horns that start at the brow of their heads, go back and curling upwards so they could use them to cut deep into the enemy. Each had four clawed feet that could cut diamonds like butter.
One was the color of snow and had mismatched eyes of blue and green. It's scaled body reflecting the light in mesmerizing colors. The other dragon was the color of obsidian, the scales looked as if they were hidden in shadow as if the evening sunlight could not reach them. It's eyes were a glowing crimson red that had the look of hatred of everything in the world.
As they were fighting, they would cast spells at each other that they would try to either block or dodge. Their aerodynamics would make a fighter jets pilot dizzy because even with such large bodies, they are able to turn a one-eighty on a dime almost instantly. During the time the girl looked up, the white dragon casted a spell of multicolored lighting towards the archers who were shooting at his only daughter, instantly killing them. But at that time, the black dragon casts the same spell that had the color of black with streaks of blood red in it, injuring the White greatly.
"PAPA!" The girl screams, horrified and feeling guilty that her father had gotten injured because he helped her with the archers. She fully stopped in her tracks as she watches her father, who had a deep, charred wound that wound from his left shoulder, to the middle of his right wing, fall three hundred meters to the ground. When hitting the ground, she heard bones snapping as her father did not have enough concentration to put up a shield in time because of the great pain he was feeling.
The black dragon lazily flew in downward circles before landing close to the White. The girl froze in terror when the black dragon looked at her with interest, as if seeing an amusing looking insect. Before walking towards her, he checked to see if the white dragon was trying to get up. Which he wasn't, because when he hit the ground and his bones snapped, he fell unconscious from the pain.
"You yelled " Papa" little girl. So you're the disgusting half- breed whelp Malstar sired." The black dragon said in a deep male voice that you would hear from a dark cavern. "Maybe I should destroy you to keep you from growing into you powers and giving me an headache in the future." he mused. As if watching in slow motion, the girl saw the black dragon open his mouth wide, inside his mouth she sees black flames appear and she knew then that she was going to die without her father knowing that she loved him. Because for the past five months she had been bratty and having temper tantrums while saying she hated him after her mother was killed by demons. Before those demons were about to kill her, Malstar appeared in his human form and saved her by killing the demons. After her mother's funeral pyre, he took his daughter to the united army command center where the first things she said after he showed up were "Go die," and "I hate you."
Before the black dragon released the flames, a voice that souded like deep wind chimes yelled, "I will not allow you to harm my daughter, Rozen!" Malstar had woken up after Rozen turned away from him and was trying to get his broken bones to fuse together before his daughter got hurt. After hearing what Rozen said, Malstar did not care about himself, he jumped upon Rozen's back and clamped his jaws to the back of his head and jerked it back and forth. This caused Rozen to stop what he had planned to do and now try to get Malstar off.
But before he could, there was a loud *crunch,* and that made Rozen freez. Dark red blood started to pour from the wounds on the back of his head. After a few long seconds, Rozen's eyes went dim and he collapsed. His snout landing just a few feet from the girl, nearly hitting her.
A white fog covers Malstar and then compacts, when the fog disappears, a man in golden armor stands in place of the white dragon. His snow colored hair cut short, face somewhat feminine and mismatched eyes of blue and green.
"Papa!" The girl cries and starts to run around the head of Rozen to get to Malstar who is now in human form. "Sheila! Get away from Rozen! He is not dead and will wake up any moment!" Immediately, she runs the opposite direction knowing that he speaks true. After Sheila was far enough away, Malstar jumps off of Rozen and starts to cast a spell of high magnitude that uses the very existence of the universe to seal Rozen that would be near impossible to break.
At the end of the spell, Rozen wakes up and stated to struggle to break free. But it was to late, the spell was done and while roaring in rage and hatred, he slowly sunk into the ground and disappears.
After it was all done, Malstar collapsed to his hands and knees. His golden armor disperses into white fog and goes inside his skin. A deep charred wound from his left shoulder to the right of the middle of his back shows up, and it starts to pour blood when he moved around.
Sheila runs to his side with tears pouring down her face and stinging the wound on her cheek. "Don't cry my little Shell, it's over now," Malstar says in a soft voice. "But...." She tries to say except she starts bawling. Malstar gathers his daughter in a tight hug, and rubbing her back until she calmed down. "Better?" He asks. "Mmmhmm," she answers. Looking up, she tells her father, "I'm sorry for telling you to 'go die' and 'I hate you,' I will always love you Papa."
Now it was Malstar's turn to start blubbering as he hugs Sheila again. "It's alright," he tells her in a choked up voice. "Shell, I'm so sorry to have to tell you this, but my life force in this body is almost gone, and I won't be here for much longer."
"NO!" Sheila screams, not wanting to listen. But Malstar casts a calming spell on her, making his death come closer that much faster. The spell he used to seal away Rozen while injured had wounded his spirit, so that made his life force to seep away quickly. "You need to listen, I'm going to give you a knowledge bead that will show you how to train your body and magic. Next I will set up a gate that will disappear once you cross, it will take you from this world Shanarra, to a world called Earth. Then I am going to give you a bead that once you arrive on earth you need to drop it into the nearest puddle of water. I don't know when I will be reincarnated because my spirit has been wounded. Can you do this for me sweetie?"
*Sniff* "Yes I will do it." Sheila says. "Good girl," Malstar praised while patting her head. First he created the knowledge bead that had all his knowledge of how to train the body and in magic spells, also how he discovered in created them. Next he created the gate, that was a circle with strange symbols and markings in it. After he made Sheila swallow the knowledge bead, he tells her, "Now this last bead is my spirit in physical form. After it's formed, my body will disappear. I don't want you to stay here too long after because the gate will be gone two minutes after OK?"
" yes," Sheila says, trying not to cry.
"Alright, here goes nothing! I love you Shell." He jokingly says trying to get his daughter to smile for him one last time.
It worked, with a giggle she gave him a brilliant smile that he would remember first thing when he reincarnated. "I love you too Papa," she tells him.
*ROARRRR!*
jumping a little, they look to the side to see demons in the distance gaining ground on them. Without any more words, Malstar created the bead that contains his spirit and faded out of existence. Staying a few seconds more, Sheila stared at the place her father was at. Then she walked into the middle of the gate and was transported to Earth.

Whew....
That took a while to type!
My future chapters won't be this long I hope 😵
I hope you Guy's and Gal's like my prologue and would like some to point out on things I messed up on if you would please!
So here are a few spoilers🙌
* Sheila becomes a badass headmistress of an academy that trains kids that has magical abilities and ones that are tech smart.
* The MC, Malstar, becomes a smartass teenager (sometimes serious and will fly off into a murderous rage on some things) that has OP powers and will get into a LOT of misunderstandings!
And on that note, I will be posting around weekeds or if I'm bored after work on weekdays 😀
