Congratulations!
You’ve safely arrived to the world Nirvatarus.
You are currently inside the ruins of the last temple of Atlantis. Atlantis was an ancient god who perfectly mastered all magic attributes, instead of specializing in just one attribute like the other gods did. Being as strong as the combined forces of the other gods, they feared him. Atlantis was shunned and his cult destroyed many millennia ago.
Having inherited the power of the ancient god Atlantis, you are eligible to reclaim ownership of this ruins and their corresponding land. Would you like to do so?
Yes/ No
Atlas: "Yeah, sure! Why not? I’ll need a base of operations in this world, so if I’m offered one for free, how could I refuse?"
*Ding*
You’ve successfully received ownership of the Holy Island of Atlantis.
Previous owner: Ancient god Atlantis
Current owner: God Atlas
*Ding*
You now possess a temple, would you like to start your own cult?
Yes / No
*Please do notice that as soon as you start a cult, a notification about your existence will be automatically sent to the rest of the existing gods in Nirvatarus.
Atlas: "Hell no! I’ve just arrived to this world and I don’t wanna have to deal with those guys! Not yet, anyway. To do that I’d have to get stronger first, right now my strength equals that of one of them. In my current state, fighting against more than one of them at the same time would be my demise!"
*Ding*
You’ve discarded the possibility of starting a new cult. You’ll have a new chance of doing so after the capture or creation of a new temple.

Atlas’ POV:
I’ve just gotten here. I thought it’d be fun meeting elves, beastmen and killing monsters, but I had to teleport to a desert island? Well, I guess that when Atlantis left this world, this place would have been quite lively, but right now… Well nothing I can do about it. I need a better view of the place.
****************************************************************************
Atlas teleported to the highest point of the ruins and took a look at the island. It didn’t look like there were any monsters on it, he thought that it probably was related to the divine power imbued in the land by the presence of the temple. The so called “Sanctuary” feature… That was something that could come in handy later on, so he thought about making some kind of portable device to temporarily give that feature to a zone, if he managed to create it, it ‘d really make a good item to go camping!
The temple was damaged beyond repair for the most part. If he hadn’t been able to teleport, he would have had a lot of trouble to completely explore the place. It had been looted, but fortunately, the most important scrolls and magical items were hidden in the underground secret tunnels of the temple, which meant they had survived the looting and were well preserved.
Atlas stored all of them in his inventory, and prepared to proceed to the demolition of the temple. He wanted to rebuild the temple anew, and he planned to add some upgrades while doing so. Just when he was about to begin the demolition process, he noticed a body of mana underneath the temple, and teleported into the closest underground tunnel to investigate it. What he found left him speechless. He saw a capsule filled with liquid mana, and inside, there was a naked girl, asleep.
Atlas didn’t know what to think, who was that girl? Why was she in the capsule? And more importantly, how much time had she been inside the capsule? Even if she had entered it the day of the fall of the temple, she would have been in there for several millennia… He carefully observed the capsule and found some runes engraved on it. Thanks to those runes he could decipher the magic circuit of the capsule and was able to open it.
As soon as he opened the capsule, the girl inside fell on his arms and opened her eyes. She gave him a confused look and suddenly asked:
Girl: "Father?"
Atlas: "Sorry, gorgeous, but I’m not your father."
Girl: "You aren’t father?! But you have the same aura as father!"
Atlas: "Just so we are clear, who exactly is your father?"
Girl: "The god Atlantis, of course. We are inside his temple and you don’t know that much?! Hihihi."
Suddenly understanding the situation, Atlas took a long T-shirt from his inventory and forcefully put it on the girl. Then he thought about how to tell her that her father had died.
Atlas: "What’s your name?"
Girl: "My name is Leriaiana, what is yours?"
Atlas: "My name is Atlas and I’m a god. Leriaiana… ok, I’ll call you Leri from now on, it’s easier to remember!"
Leri: "You can’t, only father calls me like that!"
Atlas: "I can and I will. Leri, I’m sorry to be the one having to tell you this, but your father, the god Atlantis, has died."
Leri: "No! That’s impossible! He said he’d come back to look for me after giving the other gods the beating of their lives! He went just now, so stop tricking me!"
Atlas: "Leri… you’ve been in that capsule for several millennia. The temple is in ruins and the cult was destroyed… the other gods won, and even though he managed to escape, he barely made it alive! He had to escape to a different world and sealed himself into an orb, waiting for someone like me to find him, so that he could pass on his power and bring it back to Nirvatarus… I had wondered why he had set this temple as the location for my materialization in this world after using the world transport magic, but I guess you are the reason why!"
Leri: "Does that mean that father gave you his power at the cost of his life?"
Atlas: "He said that he had already died, only a fragment of his consciousness remained, and I was forcefully converted into a god and sent here…"
If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Leri: "Well that explains why you have an aura similar to father’s… If several millennia have passed like you said, then the world must have changed a lot… could you go explore it with me? "
Atlas: "Do you really want me to? I was gonna go explore it myself, so if you want to join me, I don’t mind it…"*wow, did she get over it that fast?!*
Leri: "Why wouldn’t I want to accompany my husband? I’ll gladly go with you!
Atlas: "Husband?!"
It seemed that Atlantis had been a really overprotective father, and he had told Leriaiana that she could only marry a man he approved of. Leri considered that, as her father had given his power to Atlas and sent him to her, Atlas was the husband he had personally handpicked for her, so she immediately fell for him. When Atlas was told about it, he didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. She was a demi-goddess, so she was really well developed despite being only 15, but he didn’t want to think of her as a woman or he would be unable to control himself. Besides, he was still stuck in the morals from Earth, but in Nirvatarus, humans reached adulthood at the age of 13, and Leri wanted to be with him, badly.
****************************************************************************
Atlas’ POV:
WTF? What am I supposed to do now? I don’t dislike her… ok, she is a total babe! Damn, Atlas, focus! She is only 15! But, then again, by this world rules we are both adults… No! I’ve got other priorities right now… I’ll have to think of something to keep her from trying to sleep with me… for now.
****************************************************************************
Leri was pressuring him, and he didn’t want to yield, but after putting himself in her shoes, he realized that he didn’t have much of a choice… the poor girl didn’t have anyone else to rely on, and if the other gods ever learned about her existence, they’d probably try to kill her, besides he liked her quite a bit. He told her about his decision, but also told her that they wouldn’t consummate their marriage right away. She didn’t really mind, her urges were bearable at the moment, and she was really happy, so that matter could wait.
After Atlas put the capsule in his inventory, he took Leri outside the temple. When Leri saw the ruins from the outside, she couldn’t help but cry, and Atlas didn’t know very well how to comfort her… until she put her arms around his neck and gave him a profound kiss. Atlas helplessly looked at her after the kiss, and tried to scold her for doing that so suddenly, but he ended up lost in her gaze… and being kissed again. After the second kiss, Leri calmed down as the uneasiness in her heart had been blown away. She was really afraid of the possibility that, despite her advances, Atlas might not accept her, but after she saw how his body reacted to hers, she finally managed to settle down.
Atlas spent five minutes trying to take a hold of his feelings, and when he calmed down, he demolished the ruins of the temple. Leri was really surprised at how easy was for Atlas to manipulate raw mana (despite being a demi-goddess, she had trouble manipulating it), but she didn’t say a word because she didn’t want to break his concentration. Atlas finished demolishing the ruins and decided to take a break.
He asked Leri if she knew how to hunt, and moments later she presented two rabbits to him like a dog would do to its owner, he couldn’t help but smile at the image and he kissed her, this time, of his own volition. That startled Leri, but she was really happy that, for once, he had taken the initiative of being more “assertive” with her.
About an hour later, after they had finished having lunch, Atlas started building the new temple which would become their home from then on. He copied the structure of the Toltec Pyramid at Tula, on Earth, and used it as a base. Then he added a Greek-style temple on top of it. For the Greek-style temple, the model he used was the temple of Artemis, at Miniatürk Park, in Istanbul, on Earth.
*Ding*
God Atlas’ new hidden Temple has been completed.
Special features:
· Sanctuary
· Anti-teleportation barrier
· Anti-magic barrier
· Blessing of Nature
He was quite satisfied at the results, but Leri was speechless. She couldn’t find any words to describe the architectural beauty of the new temple, in her eyes no other temple in the history of Nirvatarus had ever exuded such a divine beauty, and she couldn’t bring herself to imagine that someone aside from her husband would ever be able to create a temple which could rival theirs.
Now that he had finished creating the main structure of the temple, it was time to add the upgrades. He created a teleportation magic circle on several places around the temple and interconnected them, this system would allow a person to quickly move around the temple without having to lose half an hour to go from point A to point B, which could easily happen given the size of the temple.
Then he started creating the furniture for the different rooms, and created a large bed in the main bedroom. It was a bed which could easily accommodate 20 people, and its size gave a feeling of uneasiness to Atlas, but he still made it as Leri had requested. For the baths, he used a large room in the basement to create a hot spring, and then he made a presidential-suite western-style bathroom on each floor of the temple.
Of course, those bathrooms had magically engineered bathtubs, w.c.s and showers. When Atlas explained to Leri the uses of the shower and the w.c., she was a little embarrassed at the explanation (mainly because of the latter), but after she understood their respective uses, she was marveled at the progress that humans on Earth had done on that respect. The faucets produced cold and hot water, like those on Earth, and when Leri tried one out, she burned her hand because she had unknowingly opened the hot water to the maximum.
It was an accident, but she gained something from it. Atlas was so worried that, instead of directly casting a healing spell on her hand, he princess-carried her to the main bedroom and only there did he cast the healing spell on Leri’s hand. Later, when Leri mischievously asked him about this incident, he admitted that he had panicked and that was why he hadn’t directly healed her.
