Chapter 4: The New Gods

Chapter 4: The New Gods

The battle reached its climax as Shen attacked the eldest new god. With just one strike, Shen was blown away, but he quickly ascended again, realizing that the moment had come. He swiftly kicked the weak point of the new god. The powers of Naval had been divided among the new gods, making them imperfect.

However, this imperfection allowed the new gods to use their full capabilities, unlike when Shen were fighting Naval.

"Naval... was once a good man. But greed, power, and betrayal made him see that OH HUMANS ARE SO EVIL, AND THEN HE TOOK REVENGE!"

The new gods laughed with twisted faces, their words dripping with malice.

"I know him better than anyone else, but destroying the world is not the right way for him to take revenge. He spread fear everywhere and forced me to kill everyone, every living creature, just to absorb and pursue him through endless time loops of killing and absorbing. I have gathered strength to defeat him."

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

Shen created a massive energy ball, pure white with a temperature surpassing the sun's, compressed into a large ball. The new gods vanished in cowardice, leaving only the eldest new god, disregarding whether he lived or not.

Shen hurled the ball towards him, and it unleashed a powerful impact, disintegrating the eldest new god into fragments that gradually turned to dust, along with fading memories of Naval. Now, only eleven new gods remained, each holding a specific role along with Naval's power and memories. It seemed they had a plan, or they were destroying everything just for their own perverse amusement.

"The rest have disappeared..."

Shen landed safely with his power and pondered about the new gods. Was someone behind them, or how could they gather by themselves?

"I must get to Elena..."

Shen teleported to the safe place where he had moved Elena. He entered a shelter, using his tracking power, Shen found her, rushed over, and embraced Elena tightly, smiling with joy.

"I'm back..."
