Varminaard sees Eto jumping past him and Hanzou, hitting the orb in the hands of the girl. While Eto vanishes into the shadows of the darkness, Hanzou makes a jump and follows him.
The other knights, the servants of Captain Hanzou of Generation zero, all jump ahead to attack the rest of the group.
‘Let’s see where this goes,’ Varminaard mumbles as he slowly moves to the back and completely disappears in the darkness.
The shadows fill the giant space station that is the Ancient beast.
Floors of black, white and grey coloured material can be seen underneath the shadows, making sure further sight is blocked.
Through the shadows, Eto stumbles, putting his foot down to brake while he turns and leans on one arm.
The shadows in front of him start to move quickly, revealing something is coming up. Still, quicker than he could have anticipated, Hanzou jumps towards him from the shadows.
‘You are mine,’ he yells to Eto as he hits him in the face with his fist.
Eto is pushed back but soon stopped by a railing behind him.
He quickly turns and sees he is on the edge of a platform with darkness in the deep behind him.
Footsteps reveal that Hanzou comes at him again. A quick thought runs through Eto’s mind.
As he leans against the railing, he grabs the railing with both arms, as if he wants to jump over it in a somersault.
His feet start to glow slowly and just when Hanzou jumps at him again from the shadows, Eto jumps.
With a kick and using his legs to grab Hanzou before he could punch Eto, Eto uses the railing to somersault behind him.
Letting go, he knocks Hanzou into the shadows of the deep, jumping in behind him as Eto lets the railing go.
The knight, with a slender figure, jumps ahead, revealing a morningstar as a weapon. With Veronica in sight, the knight prepares to attack.

Vanessa jumps in front of Veronica, holding her arms towards the knight.
‘I can feel the metal from her armor,’ she says but with trouble.
She slams her hands and arms down and it seems it has an impact on the knight, as it tips of imbalance and gets to the floor.
‘Run!’ Vanessa yells to Veronica, pushing her into the darkness.
She follows behind her, hearing the knight get up and trying to get to them.
It is Djon who sees them disappearing into the shadows.
A whip made of metal chains and spikes hurls at Djon, who blocks the attack with one of his swords and jumps back.
A bigger knight, almost like the one Eto fought on Etoil, walks slowly towards him.
‘A pirate with a bounty. It seems we can get more out of this than we thought of,’ the knight says with a deep voice from behind the helmet.
Djon grins and pulls his second sword and pistols, making sure he uses all four arms to hold a weapon.
‘You are not the first to try to capture me,’ he says.
Not what the knight expected, Djon runs toward him, making it seem he is ready to attack.
The knight retracks the whip and lashes out again, for Djon to block the attack again and keep running.
When he gets close, he jumps up but he drops a tiny ball to the floor.
The darkness around the knight is covered in powder and mist in a split second, as the ball was a smoke bomb.
The knight hears Djon run away from the fight through the shadows.
‘Fighting unfair. What to expect from a pirate,’ the knight mumbles as it runs to the shadows, trying to hear where Djon ran to.
A missile has been shot. The last knight, holding an advanced bow, shoots towards Hawk who counters it with a shot of his own.
He doesn’t take a moment to think and he turns to run, grabbing TYO in the process and trying to find his way in the shadows to flee.
‘You won’t get away,’ a voice yells from behind him.
Hawk finds a sudden stairs and walks up, not seeing or knowing where he is going,
Heavy metal boots can be heard coming from behind him, as the knight is chasing him.
While running in what seems to be a hallway, Hawk quickly glances, seeing a hallway to the side.
‘Find a system and analyse the ship. Find a way to help us,’ Hawk says to TYO and before TYO could respond, he was tossed to the side, disappearing into the shadows of the hallway.
Shots could be heard coming from Hawk, as he tries to get the knight's attention.
TYO can see a giant figure jumping past in the shadows, confirming the knight is hunting Hawk.
‘I'm 76% sure,’ TYO mumbles to himself but he stops.
‘No. I have to do this, despite the calculations,’ he says with a little more braver voice.
He jumps up and starts driving on his tiny wheel into the shadows, finding a way to analyse the Ancient Beast.
