I forgot to consider my cultivation; I just did! I circulate my qi around my circulatory system and into my arms and push the door open successfully this time. As I emerge from the prison cell, I spot a demon lurking around the corner. The other end of the hall is a dead end, so my only option is to walk towards the demon. As I creep down the hall swiftly but sneakily towards the demon, the demon becomes aware of my movements. The only thing I can think of doing is to run. The demon with a demeaning height of 8 feet is simply too terrifying. But after running down the hall, I ran into the dead end that I saw earlier. I now have to confront the demon that lurks above me like a skyscraper. The demon seems furious as well. I did just escape the cell they locked me in, which is probably the reason.
I circulate the qi from my abdomen into my fist and lunge forward to land a strike at the demon’s head, but the demon side steps to the right, completely avoiding my punch. He counters the punch by stepping in and landing a successful blow to my stomach. This punch sends a shockwave of pain through my body as I step back out of fear. “This amount of pain is nothing compared to what I have gone through.” I try to strike him in a larger portion of his body, the chest this time. He tries to sidestep to the left this time, but my punch successfully hits his chest. However, the punch does almost no damage to him, despite the cultivation that I’ve done previously. This time the demon tries to kick me in the stomach, but I dodge to the right. This gives me the opportunity to run past him.
I try to circulate the qi into my legs to make me run faster. But currently I only know how to give short bursts of power, so the qi gives me a large enough boost in speed to escape the demon. I run past the corner down the hall and out of the small building that contained all the prison cells. This building happened to be in the forest, and it’s the middle of the night, which would explain the lanterns earlier. There seems to be nothing around me but trees and a cave. I run towards the cave to hide from the demon. I reach the cave entrance, and the demon seems to have lost my trail. Inside the cave are a couple of different paths. I wonder if there could be anything of use in this cave?

I venture into the left path of the cave, but there seems to be only a simple lake. Well, I never did drink any water during the time that I was in that cell. I take a sip of water from the lake, and as the water enters my body, I feel something strange. This water is no ordinary water; this water feels like it speeds up the rate of my flow of qi. I immediately sit down and start meditating in order to not lose the potential gains I could gain from this amazing water. With this boost in the flow of qi, I can now constantly circulate my qi one time a second. That’s an amazing boost in progress! I cultivate for as long as the water will last, which ends up lasting a full 12 hours. I can feel that I am on the brink of a breakthrough. I feel that if I can circulate the qi one time per millisecond, I could gain some new strength. This must be information gained from the legendary scroll I found earlier.
I travel back to the start of the cave since I’ve already used that amazing qi rejuvenating water, and the water no longer gives the same effect that it did earlier. Now there is only one more path to traverse. I take the right path and head down the tunnel. Once I reach the end of the tunnel, it’s a dead end; there is simply nothing here. It would be strange if there was actually something here. The water I drank earlier would only have an effect on cultivators, and if there were items that showed the use of qi, people would have learned cultivation techniques much earlier. As I am thinking about this fact, I remember something: I can circulate qi into my eyes to reveal secrets. I circulate my qi from my abdomen all the way into my eyes. Strangely, a chest appears at the end of the small, imperfectly shaped room with an impending evil aura.
