I scurried across the hallways, heavily panting because of the exhaustion, with every blood boiling in my veins, I looked back to see if it was still following me, I stopped when I saw that I had lost it.

I slowly retraced my steps as I quietlywalked, I carefully peeked at the corner, thinking it would somehow jump at me.

Step by step, I inched closer….and closer…. Till my feet have reached the edge of the wall, then I maneuvered quickly in front of the hallway to see……

“Nothing”

I sighed in relief, then……. a shadow from behind blocked my vision, I turned to see..

it standing behind me!

Living under constant danger, our will to survive is tested, possibly being the last remnants of humanity, with every step, our ability to remain humane slowly drifts further away from us, the past is what keeps us going, hoping to go back to where we once were, now it all seems nothing more than a daydream, we push forward never backing down, but……….how far can we go? How long can we survive? When will this end?.....
