Awoke/Awakened/etc: Term used to refer to when one, usually a human, gained their magic. Does not refer to any magic gained through a Pact or Contract, or a Magical Artefact.
Artefact: A name for powerful magical items, usually of ancient and mythical origins.
Bond: Refers to a powerful and inherent connection of the Soul to other things be they people or items.
Change: Term used to reference the process of a human, or rarely another being, into a Vampire, or possibly a Werebeing or Undead.

Contract: One of the terms that applies to aggreements with powerful magical beings. Usually only applies to agreements with Demons or certain Elementals. These are often full of loopholes and rarely end well for the more mortal counterpart.
Death: The end of Life, can also apply to one of the Branches of Magic and a type of Black Magic., may or may not be permanent.
Life: Most often used concerning a branch of Magic, is a type of White Magic.
Mind: A term that usually applies to the magical consciousness or one of the branches of Magic.
Pact: A term used to describe a magical agreement between a mage, or other magical being, and another magical being, usually of a decisively less humanoid nature. These are more balanced, as usually the beings involved are far less powerful than those that are forced into Contracts.
