“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH”
Unholy screams of pain shook the earth underneath the feet of the army, causing many to stumble and trip.
They had been running for two days and now they walk slowly towards the living terror that is Windshaw is in sight; In the distant forest, what would be a good days run stands an enormous wraith, which wails every few minutes in anguishing pain.
Most had feared they were too late, but the dimension isn’t destroyed so they are not.
Lith walked alongside Skelor, biting her nails in worry, mind whirring to find a plan to kill Windshaw.
It was obvious by now that he had drunk a great amount of the blood from the three Houses as he was at a rough guess a five story house.
And although he had seen them, he had not done anything to them, rather sat back and continued to drink blood.
“Skelor, why did we not kill him the first time?” Lith asks, confused as to why they were so merciful that last time
“I don’t know, maybe he was too valuable for us to let him die” Skelor replies wistfully
She chuckles “Of course he was valuable, he was chief advisor for all three of our Houses”
He chuckles darkly “He was a trickster alright, playing us like fools”
“Played you lot like a fool, I knew what I was getting into” Lith reminds him
“Yes, he was still part of your court then wasn’t he?”
“Those were the good old days, when I’d have the sneakiest little fuck in my court. Still can’t really get my head around as to how he got us to have peace by creating commerce between us”
“Well when you have a say in each court…” he muses darkly "I’m wondering why you don’t seem to like him anymore, since I remember you were still good friends when you ‘died’”
She sighs and glances towards the sky, prying the hurtful memory from her mind.
“He still secretly visited me in those days, until about two hundred and fourty years ago, when he made the one I love ascend into a god making him too busy attending ‘godly duties’ to love me” He bitter tone spat out in angry pellets.
“And now he’s trying to do the same himself?” Skelor starts to realize the situation once more with a better insight, as well as a better insight Lith’s past as well.
“Yes and I don’t want him to become a diety or this dimension will not be the only one in danger” She seethes and quickens her pace.
After a long walk, with multiple breaks in between, the army consisting of roughly twenty thousand stands a few miles from the colossal being that is Windshaw.
“WHAT DO YOU WANT LITTLE BEINGS, HAHAHA” he roars towards them in obvious pleasure
“WE WANT TO KILL YOU” Lith shouts back
“You’re blunter than Bariaxüs, jeesh” the twins spout synchronously
Windshaw just laughed thunderously and started gliding towards them, silently and ominously.
Within barely minutes, his form blotted out the crimson sun and the battle for their lives commenced without the uttering of another word.
…
An hour had passed, only an hour.
They had been fighting a single being, only one.
He had killed over ten thousand of them, and he was still going strong.
Defeat was in their hearts, despair in their eyes.
He seemed unkillable, immortal.
Weapons had no effect on him, magic, there was none for all who used ti were targeted and killed. No matter what things they did to him, he seemed to shrug it off as if it were nothing.
Though all he had to do was swipe down with his claws, ripping through dozens of monsters at once.
Skelor had been killed within the first few minutes, Lith had followed shortly after.
Many had been left screaming and dying on the floor as others fought to kill him in a frenzy of despair.
Gromar is one of the luckily alive, and he still fights with his axe swinging at any part of Windshaw he can touch.
He was behind him, far away from the other thousands so he would not be targeted and true enough he had not been even acknowledged yet.
All he could hear from the other side were screams of the dying, and all he could do was hack with his axe.
He sliced, and hacked and smashed with reckless abandon, but he knew that it was all for naught.

Time passed and the screams lessened, till they were barely audible and finally all was silent, all except him and a few hundred desperate individuals who attacked with nothing but terror willing them on.
Soon, they too were picked off by the claws which sliced through them with ease, leaving cut bodies to be strewn across the ground.
Soon, the hundreds became dozens and finally only Gromar remained, his axe lain uselessly on the blood soaked ground and his face looking up tearfully at Windshaws'.
“Why, WHY DID YOU KILL US ALL?” He screams towards him knowing that he wants to know the answer before he is killed if only to settle his heart”
“BECAUSE I NEED TO. FOR REVENGE AGAINST THE ONE WHO FUCKED ME OVER TWO CENTURIES AGO!”
With that, he swiped across, splitting Gromar into several pieces of orc.
…
Windshaw gave a tired sigh after killing Gromar and laid back on the mountain of corpses below.
He was lucky there weren’t many magic users within the army or he may have died.
I wonder if the fools ever realized physical attacks do not work on me
Chuckling to himself, he decides to have a nap before Aethelx comes back.
And surely enough, Aethelx returns many days later.
…
Aethelx breathes a huge sigh of relief as the election finally finished.
He really hates meeting with the Divines, they always bitch and moan and whine about their followers.
He does too, but his followers are usually bat shit insane so he’s got a valid whining point.
As per usual, the election was a boring pisspot of the Divine trying to please the other Divines to allow a new Epitomical to rise.
Aethelx believes Mur really shouldn’t have gotten a new one, especially as they had found out that he’d lied about Föiron being killed; the fool committed suicide for sake of building a wall.
But quite a lot of the Divines are pretty sentimental to Mur, since he is the god of Architecture and he designs and builds the palaces quite a few of the Overworld Divines reside in.
That reminds me, maybe I should ask him to build me a nice house next election
As he has nothing better to do as he soars down the dimensional gateway, he muses on the design on his house.
Slamming into the ground once more, he stands up and shakes off his jarred legs, only to spot barely miles away a large deforested area filled with corpses and a giant wraith, even bigger than him lying down on top of them.
“WHO ARE YOU?” He demands as he stomps towards him, fists clenched and ready
“I AM YOUR SUCCESSOR” the wraith responds as he stands up, revealing the tens of thousands of bodies.
Aethelx is angry at the loss of so many followers, but also he is slightly afraid; to see so many dead due to a single being put his enemy at a higher level than Epitomicals.
Although, he has no reason to run away, rather he has much reason to kill this being.
And so the two started battling, raring to kill one another.
…
“Phew, that was hell of a trek. Bloody boring too. For a place called Hellderworld it’s pretty tame”
He strides a few more feet, leaving the umpteenth crimson forest and stops on the edge of what seemingly is a cliff. Although dropping off this cliff face would result in dropping off the edge of the dimension.
Looking down, he gives a loud whistle as he sees the endless sight of stars and cosmic mists.
“Well” He looks up into the sky “This is going to hurt isn’t it Aela?”
He waits for a few seconds before shrugging.
“HERE GOES NOTHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNnnnng”
