The night was quiet in Raiden City, and it was late, not many cars drove by the Red Ring Park, and even fewer walked by. All except a pair of drunken bros, chasing each other in the park, with no eyes to watch or judge them as one of them pokes the other before running in the other direction. “Tag! You’re it! Man, you are SO slow” said the one running away, hiccuping and giggling like a little girl as the other pouts, chasing after him. “Shut up, dude! I’m as fast as...uh…a fast guy! Like…Usain Bolt!”
“More like U…insane, for thinking that…Bolt…yeah!”
“Now that’s just rude, dude”
“Nuh uh”
“The fuck do you mean nuh uh, GET OVER HERE!”
They kept chasing each other around, one clearly faster than the other, before a bolt of lightning shot out of the big lake that sat in the center of the park, startling both of them as the lake sparked, whatever small life that may have been in the lake killed in the process as they float up to the surface, and with them, a womanly figure as she stood on the water itself.
“And I thought I said no funny business, Ethan!”
“I don’t do funny business, Mark! My business is very adult and proper!”
And as the two bicker among themselves, the figure walked on the water towards the two, her cold, golden amber eyes stared at the two as she proceeded to identify them as she got closer. Red, curly hair as bright as a fresh apple,
One of them finally looks over, noticing the fact that she was walking on water as he gets Ethan’s attention. “Well, Jesus H. Christ is pretty funny business, I am not going to lie to you”
“Mark. Jesus is dead…well, I think so anyways, maybe it’s the, uh, fucking…um…what was the apocalypse called again?”
“Rapture?”
“Yes, yes, Rapture, maybe it’s happening now, and YOU are gonna, uh, stay down here cause you complain like a baby!”
“I’m NOT a baby, Ethan! Watch!” Mark turns over to look at the woman, who still approaches closer and closer, shouting towards her. “Hey! Jesus or Follower of Jesus, you…look…poopy, hah!” The woman stood still as Mark turned back to Ethan. “See, not a ba-” and he was cut off when his whole body disappeared right there, leaving a black mist that smells like…oil.
This immediately sobers up Ethan as the realization sets in, he would immediately try to run away, screaming, but tripped and fell face first onto the grass as he sits up and looks back, the woman slowly approaches him, a maniacal smile for cold, yellow eyes as she squats down to meet him eye to eye as she tilts her head. “Execution repeated. Asking question 45: ‘Have you seen a Lake Child around here?’, expecting an answer or permission to explain. Answer.” the woman asks, her voice was a bit deep in pitch, and quite a bit seductive like.
“L-Lake Child? I haven’t seen a child at all a-around here, w-what do they look like?” Ethan said, his voice shivering and nervous, afraid for his life at this very moment.

“Permission granted, explaining context 29: Small child of feminine nature. Long, beautiful white hair you would see only in legends. Smells of sweet perfume and candy shop sweets. Bright, blue eyes that give the sky a run for their Cogs. Unmissable. Context given. Answer the question.” the woman explained, she was very, very robotic in nature, her voice, her speech pattern, her mind, like a robot, and yet she looks as human as the next person.
“T-Then no, I haven’t seen a child l-like that at all! P-Please leave me alone!”
“Requesting permissions of higher ups…” her eyes dim down a little before returning as she raises one hand, the ‘flesh’ melts off as it reforms into a very, very sharp blade.
“Permission denied. Reasonings are as follows: Brain Fluid and Tissues are required for repairs and The Living Failure. Please await assured destruction.”
“W-Wait! No, no, NO, STOP, PLE-”
And so his head falls from his body onto the floor, a cut as clean as her skin as she stood up, grabbing the head, holding onto it for a few seconds before it vanishes into a black mist as well as she returns to the lake. “Objective complete, returning to the tower.”
And as she walks onto the water, she sinks down into the lake like nothing had happened, letters and numbers stained behind her perfect white jacket. T.L.A 4. Bacteria.
And the man’s headless korpse finally fell down onto grass, painting it red, as the previous black mist dissipated into itself. A murder scene without clues. Almost perfect.
Except for one witness.

“And here we are, outside the scene of the crime, a man was found murdered, his lifeless korpse left without his head. Police are withholding information about the murder but this marks another mysterious murder without a cause, is the safety of Raiden City on the edge of a knife? We don’t know, but we will keep you updated on any progress of the crime.”
The news channel has always filled in people on the latest ‘Mystery Murder’, but none of them ever got answers, but that’s because none of them had answers. And none of them had him.
The TV goes on as a man prepares himself, having just been woken up by his mother, who, after some time, finally got him recommended to help with an investigation over one of these Mystery Murders as he gets his bag out. “Always remember your G.P.B~!” he sang to himself as he grabbed hold of his licenced pistol, smart phone, and badge. “Your trusty Gun, your useful Phone, your helpful Badge, dada~” he kept going as he grabbed a lint roller, rolling it over some parts of his clothes, mostly the black jeans and undershirt before putting on the white jacket. “Look your finest, steady your eyes~” he gestures a finger gun towards a picture of 3 cats and 2 people. Him and his mother. He does a little ‘pew’ sound as his finger gun goes off. “Remember the rest, remember the best~” he smiled as he closed his bag, which already had been packed with everything else he might need.
“Kade! Gear! Wonder! That’s my name! Detective Man!...Or was it Boy?...Maybe Lady? Wait no, I’m not a lady, that’s mother’s song…I’d make a damn good lady, anyways~” he chuckles to himself as he turns the TV off, taking a deep breath as he scruffs up his curly black hair. “Focus, Kade! This is your debut case! No more crimes, or lost & found, or cat saving! It’s a real, actual murder, and they need someone good for this!” he hypes himself up but let's just one more little song out.
“Detective Kade, on the case~!”
And so he leaves his room…office…bedroom place. A peculiar workplace hybrid. Kade goes down the hallway, passing by many labeled rooms as he gets to the elevator, pressing a button as it opens up. As he gets in and begins to descend down, the sound of voices whisper outside, but he ignores it, like he always had, as he steps off once the elevator stopped descending and opening up.
“Consider me lucky, Lizzy. This boy’s making it big now~” he said to the receptionist at the front desk. She looks up to him with a smile. “I’ll be watching then, Kade. And do be careful out there, for your mother” she said as he nodded, exiting the building excitedly as he went to a small parking lot near the building, getting into his car and putting his keys into the ignition, starting it up as he began driving to the sight of the crime:
Red Ring Park.
